Robbie, the Box Appliance technician, did a great job inspecting our Wolf 48" dual fuel stove oven range. There were uneven temperatures on dual griddle. He checked griddle dual sensors under thick griddle plate and found to be in working as expected. Robbie also checked our oven sensors & controls. All appeared to be working as well. Robbie took time to explain how heating griddle will work before some cold heat spots on griddle will even out. He also informed how to maintain and clean appliance to prevent issues with sensors, electronics and appliance enamel surface. read more

Horrible experience either way this company. I had to use them because the are who subzero sent. The "fixed" my refrigerator but after a few months I had the same issue. It has been impossible to schedule appointments with them, and then when the time or your appointment comes, they do not show up. After I called them, they wanted to reschedule in two months, after I had already waited a few months for the appointment. I just deleted my positive review. The Tech did the job improperly. I called Box immediately and sent them pictures. The freezer basket clips broke within a day of him supposedly repairing. They did not accommodate my multiple requests to speak to a service manager and a tech manager, nor to accommodate attending to fixing their mistake and priortizing me as someone who already paid for a service that was not performed. They sent out the same tech, with no contact to me from senior support. Again, within hours, the basket clip was misaligned. I sent photos to Box. NO ONE called me nor responded to my email. The basket is again dislodged from the clip, since the clip is not securely in. I have escalated this with SubZero, and reported to SubZero that I refuse to work with Box Appliance any longer. Negative review for both Customer Support and Technician sent. read more

Very professional service. Thorough testing of our Sub Zero fridge - found multiple causes for an unusual noise we got + not enough suction when closing freezer. Explanation: upper freezer basket wasn't seated correctly (had to open and retighten screws under it), leading to a slight gap in closing, and ice buildup. Jesse first ran computer tests running different fans, then, looked inside the fridge and freezer. He kept everything clean, with towels under everything he put down. The appointment gave only a full day window at first, but the day before (maybe earlier) it narrowed to a 3 hour window, and then, at the day of the service, I got different email alerts that narrowed down the window. This is a big improvement to a wide window that never narrows down. I can't talk about the cost - it's under warranty, so nothing out of pocket. read more

The technician, Thomas, was great. He quickly diagnosed both problems. One required no replacement parts and he was able to fix a minor problem that had bothered us for a long time. The second problem will require parts. Thomas clearly outlined the possible costs and promised to call in the morning with detailed possible costs. I can't speak highly enough of Box Appliance. Scheduling was prompt and easy, and technician Michael was friendly, thorough and capable. He had to come out several times (parts were needed, then the unit had to be uninstalled), but both Jenny (the customer service rep/scheduler) and Michael kept me informed the whole time. Although the contractor and I were skeptical that the unit could be repaired, Michael was able to diagnose and fix the problem! Box appliance came out today because I was having some issues with my burners igniting, but still ticking away. Jesse, the technician sent, knew right away what the problem was. The burners just needed a little bit of cleaning in different spots where food had gotten stuck or a spillover occurred. He showed me how to clean them in the future. I have an eight-year-old wolf double oven gas range. I was told by my home warranty company that because they thought the burner can't be replaced I needed to replace the entire oven. Thank goodness I found Box appliance through the Wolf appliance website. They came out and fixed it within a matter of minutes- no problem. I had no intention of replacing a $20,000 oven because the burner didn't work. It was worth every penny to have my oven/stove fixed rather than replaced.
