My subzero was leaking water because the some of the lines were getting frozen over. Long story short I had 3 technicians come, and was unhappy with their responses as they said just pour hot water or use a blowdryer. The last tech said he would put a heater and cost $900. I called subzero and they recommended Box Applicance and told me that this company in my area (OC) is the only company that is certified by subzero. I explained my problem to Box and sent out Santiago. Based off my problem Sergio knew exactly what was going on and had already gotten the parts. Best part of all he said that the parts will be covered by subzero you just have to pay for the service call and labor. Pros: Certified by Subzero They keep in constant communication letting me know when Santiago was on his way. You can also track them through the link. If you have a Subzero call them and dont waste your time with those other companies who claim they specialize in Sub Zeros. So thankful Box Appliance came out to look at my oven. After 3 years it's FINALLY fixed! I'm been having issues with my WOLF range for years and nobody has been able to figure out what was wrong. I've tried troubleshooting with WOLF customer service and even had a tech come out over a year ago. They were zero help. The tech that came out this week (I wish I remembered his name) suggested we order new hinges. He installed the new hinges and all the issues I've been having are gone!!!! I would almost prefer to go to the dentist, dealing w the IRS or the CA DMV than dealing w Box. Their technicians are excellent however it is impossible to reach them in a timely manner to discuss an issue , approve an estimate even after I had to call to get post quote submittal by the technician. No reply regarding approvals I forwarded by email. Several months ago stove parts were ordered , never heard back, recently refer went down and oven stopped working.. I'm told they can fix the refer in 5 weeks. It's already been down 2 weeks. If this is the best shop in San Diego for high end appliances I would say quit buying high end appliances..not worth it. The manufacturer was responsive and very helpful regarding warranty but that doesn't help at the local level. read more

My freezer was accumulating ice and leaking out water underneath. And the door was So tight that I had to wait for 5 min before I can open, each time after I close it. Waited a couple weeks for my appointment but when Luis arrived he identified the problem right away, cleaned it up, De clogged the drain and now everything is working. Even the door. While scheduling was a bit challenging (this seems to be the case for other high-end appliance repair companies, probably because its hard to find top of the line service technicians), the technician who came was highly knowledgeable and professional. There are so many appliance repair companies out there--and I have had many different ones come to my home over the years--it's worth the wait to have this great company service your appliances. The technician does a great job in trying to fix the issues and explain the appliance with details. However the problem lies with Subzero that they need to do a better check on their products. It comes with defects. There is so much that the technician can do. I need to address the issue to subzero but of course they are not easy to be found. They addressed all of our concerns, they called Sub Zero and got the motherboard covered under warranty even though it wasn't covered. They answered all our questions and explained all that they did. I don't believe BOX APPLIANCE has 4+ stars. Ghost reviews??? Base on Yelp reviews we hired them for our Sub Zero fridge. A technician came over dress professionally but didn't fix anything. He charged $195 ( service fee) for diagnostic and left. I still puzzled by it. Diagnosis: oh your light bulbs were out Your water pipe to the ice maker was shut off Then he left without doing a thing. Charged me $195 for diagnostic At the time I didn't think much I trusted him and even tipped him $40. Does he know how to fix fridge? As I understand other companies charge you the service fee then credit you back if you choose to work with them. Mostly about $65. I don't recommend BOX Appliance read more

We had a warranty claim on our refrigerator, which was referred to Box. The night before that date, we received a text, giving us a timeframe for the service. The first thing that morning we were informed of the name of our technician and were told that we were second on his call. They also notified us when he was 15 minutes out, and he arrived promptly.
