The reason I called was to get a bunch of tall cans for a Guinness World Record attempt that requires me to throw frisbee at cans. All of the other depots weren't helpful and some were in fact quite rude. However, Dean, the manager at the North Hill depot was super friendly and helpful and after explaining to him last week what I needed, he called me back today and said they were ready to be picked up. I can't thank Dean enough - without his help I don't know where I would have gotten the cans for my Guinness World Record attempt. Thanks again Dean!!

If you use this depot, be sure to know how many items you are taking in. I won't be returning to this place. Not sure if it was dishonesty, or machine malfunction. I organized 2 bottle-drove events for 2 different Blackfoot hockey teams this season (Fall 2012)…read more I have to say that I was 100% satisfied and extremely impressed with the services Marklan Bottle Depot provided. The most valuable service being their ability to PICK-UP the bottles from the bottle-drive meeting site. Or, in the case of our "reverse" bottle-drive for our Timbit team, we had Marklan Bottle Depot meet us at one of the arenas 30 minutes prior to practice, and had everyone from the team bring in their collected bottles and deposit them into Marklan's large truck. Doesn't get any quicker/easier than that! Immy (owner) is extremely personable, friendly, reliable and always available via cell-phone. In our particular experience, service went above and beyond expectations in that the owner personally delivered our team cheque after the event, given that we live in neighboring communities. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to anyone... you won't be disappointed! 5 star rating. :-)

They've got residential dumping as soon as you go in with plenty of dumpsters that you can back your truck up to and leave your trash. The dumpsters are set lower than than the truck pad so if you have something heavy, it's easy to push it out of the truck and into the dumpster without lifting. The residential Dumping area is clean and paved which helps against annoying flat tires when you go to the dump. The lowest rate is $20 and I'm yet to go over that limit with a pickup. To compare, the amount I took back today, 1-800-Got-Junk wanted $289 to take it to the dump. The staff were friendly and efficient. I was in and out in no more than 10 minutes.
