Service is quick with some vending machines, shopping carts, ok parking and self pay out which is nice. Overall avoid on weekends during mornings but overall expect to wait 10-15 minutes.

I saw the great reviews here for Chinook Bottle Depot and thought I'd check them out. The first thing I noticed is how quiet the machines were-no yelling to talk to the attendant. She gave me the exact amount for my bottles! And no line-ups! The second time I went, a man working there came out, brought a cart to my car, and helped me fill it up w/ my bottles. I've NEVER had this happen at any other depot. They have earned my patronage, and I will be driving the extra km to come here! Very impressed :)

Someone comes out to help you with your bottles, and the interior is surprisingly really modern and professional. Doesn't seem like a bottle depot at all, they've even got a water fountain mounted on the wall inside! Pretty cool. No smell and friendly staff. However as the other customers are typically nice, someone else in line will help you get the machine to scan and dispense your money. The reason I called was to get a bunch of tall cans for a Guinness World Record attempt that requires me to throw frisbee at cans. All of the other depots weren't helpful and some were in fact quite rude. However, Dean, the manager at the North Hill depot was super friendly and helpful and after explaining to him last week what I needed, he called me back today and said they were ready to be picked up. I can't thank Dean enough - without his help I don't know where I would have gotten the cans for my Guinness World Record attempt. Thanks again Dean!!
