The reason I called was to get a bunch of tall cans for a Guinness World Record attempt that requires me to throw frisbee at cans. All of the other depots weren't helpful and some were in fact quite rude. However, Dean, the manager at the North Hill depot was super friendly and helpful and after explaining to him last week what I needed, he called me back today and said they were ready to be picked up. I can't thank Dean enough - without his help I don't know where I would have gotten the cans for my Guinness World Record attempt. Thanks again Dean!!

I've been going to this new bottle depot at Easthills since it opened. It is by far the best bottle…read moredepot there is in Calgary. Every time I pull up there is someone that comes out with a cart to help me load my bottles and take it inside to a sorter. Inside is spacious and clean no sticky floors from leaky bags being brought in, they are always moping the floors to keep the clean. They also added some chairs and sofa for people to sit on. The staff are friendly and helpful. The refund system is all automated so once you get your receipt you take it to the cash dispenser and get your refund. They also have a couple of wash station so you can wash/dry your hands. They also have a coffee station where you can grab a coffee if you like. Overall it's a great depot to go to

I saw the great reviews here for Chinook Bottle Depot and thought I'd check them out. The first thing I noticed is how quiet the machines were-no yelling to talk to the attendant. She gave me the exact amount for my bottles! And no line-ups! The second time I went, a man working there came out, brought a cart to my car, and helped me fill it up w/ my bottles. I've NEVER had this happen at any other depot. They have earned my patronage, and I will be driving the extra km to come here! Very impressed :)

This once in the middle of nowhere landfill is now right in the NW burbs…read more If you're looking to dump a pickup truck full of residential garbage, spyhill is quick and easy. They've got residential dumping as soon as you go in with plenty of dumpsters that you can back your truck up to and leave your trash. The dumpsters are set lower than than the truck pad so if you have something heavy, it's easy to push it out of the truck and into the dumpster without lifting. The residential Dumping area is clean and paved which helps against annoying flat tires when you go to the dump. The lowest rate is $20 and I'm yet to go over that limit with a pickup. To compare, the amount I took back today, 1-800-Got-Junk wanted $289 to take it to the dump. The staff were friendly and efficient. I was in and out in no more than 10 minutes. I just saved myself $269!
