The…read moremost impressive part was that every single dish had a distinct, bold flavor profile--nothing felt like it was coming from the same generic base sauce. * Chicken Momo: These were the star of the show. * Chilli Chicken: A fantastic take on Indo-Chinese fusion. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, tossed in a savory, spicy sauce with plenty of fresh peppers and onions. It had a great "zing" without being overwhelmingly salty. * Saag Paneer: This was comfort food at its best. The spinach was creamy and vibrant, flavored just perfect. The Verdict: If you're looking for a place that respects the unique spices of both regions, this is it. The kitchen clearly takes pride in the details. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. The place was clean with warm, dim lighting that makes it feel intimate enough for a date but relaxed enough for a casual weeknight dinner. I will be back again to try more.

They have very soothing spa music playing (a little odd, but also charming). You can see that the owners probably did their own repairs and upgrades. We ordered cocktails and saw that they used top shelf alcohol. The food was very flavorful. Not the Indian flavors that I'm used to, but delicious. The tandoori chicken pieces were massive and they did not skimp on the sides of rice like other Indian restaurants. The garlic naan was paper thin like a roti and infused with so much garlic! Our server was very sweet and attentive. She carefully made both our cocktails and when we complimented her, she was humbled and honored. We came on a Thursday night around 7p, the dining room was empty - crazy. Araz took care of us and he must have refilled the water 5 times he was so top of everything! We started with chai tea, absolutely delicious. Love the creaminess and spices. They bring out come crispy chips and dipping sauces on the house. Such a light and delicious starter. I could eat the dips plain. We also got the chaat samosas. Incredible! The seasonings and textures paired so well, crunchiness of the samosas over a bed of perfectly cooked chickpeas with red onion and yogurt drizzle adding a fresh element. And they cut them to make it easier to share. I had the lamb Korma. Incredible. Just the perfect blend of spices, creaminess. Comes with rice but their garlic naan is amazing and pairs so well with it. My boyfriend had the chicken madras, also amazing. He didn't want a creamy dish and this was perfect for him. Everything was so memorable, i can't wait to come back

I looked so stupid but my server was very nice about it and consoled me out of my wobbles. First time getting together with all 7 of my siblings in a few weeks so it was a very special occasion. Our servers name was Sharmila and she was very attentive and informed of the menu. She was very kind to have endured my rowdy family and we tipped her graciously for her trouble. My brother and I arrived fashionably early while the others arrived just early. Being fashionable is a recessive gene and we can't all be winners or else there'd be no losers and what fun would that be? They started the table with these neat little fake tortilla chips. It came with 3 sauces for dipping a sweet, tangy/minty and a spicy one. The spicy one is important to try because that's about the level of spice of their hottest dishes. For apps we got the cauliflower, the texture was nice and fluffy, the flavor was tangy without being too aggressive. An app is supposed to ease you in! SOMEPLACES HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CREATE APPETIZERS THAT SUCK YOUR SOUL OUT! Sorry for raising my voice... ahem... this place is thankfully not one of them. We also got the cucumber salad which was really good but it's cucumbers, you love em or you hate em. Moving on. Next was the onion rings. In my head they were gonna be like Indian onion rings but they were just like normal rings but ig since they had Indian dipping sauces that counts? They get by on a technicality. I DONT MAKE THE RULES AND IM TIRED OF YOU GETTING MAD AT ME FOR THEM! Excuse me I'm not sure where that came from... Ok "few" that was a lot! For me main entree I got me some baryani with chx. I got the medium spiciness because the hot sauce at the start was too much for me, call me a knave but my sibs said I'm a prince, WHAT ARE YOU AN HEIR TOO?! Didn't think so. Sorry for yelling, your tone is just bothering me. Anyway my food was good. I could hardly finish it and I don't want to hear it. THE PORTIONS WERE SO BIG FOR THE PRICE! HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?! Ok signing off, I can't with your attitude and I take back my apology from earlier. If you even care to make it up to me go visit this amazing restaurant and Sharmila a 50% tip.

I don't know if they just had an off night that night, but pretty much all of my food was a major disappointment. We ordered two dishes and naan. This location is very colorful and has a full bar. They have cocktails, beer and wine. Typical big menu for Indian restaurants. I started with my favorite yogurt drink, a Mango Lassi. Large glass for $4.79; I was served by Ashok. He was attentive. I got the Mushroom Manchurian appetizer. I requested Indian hot spice levels and it was. Next was the Chicken Shahenshah, a dish with tender chicken cooked in a sauce of coconut and fennel. I asked for this entree to be served Indian hot. Very good. It was served with a large bowl of yellow basmati rice. I ate 1/2 and the rest home. They offer another favorite dessert, Gujar Halwa. This is a sweetened finely chopped hot carrot pudding. Yummy. I saw a steady stream of delivery persons coming in to pickup orders. Just before I left to walk home, I saw 3 parties come in to eat.

I went solo on a Friday evening and had a great experience from start to finish. The first thing I noticed was how many regulars were there. People knew the owners by name and vice versa, which always says a lot about a place. The vibe is classic and welcoming, and the service matched that. It's easy to see how they've been around since 1989. Everything is made to order, so there's a bit of a wait for entrees, but it gives you time to enjoy appetizers. I started with samosas, which were exactly what you want from them. Fresh, flavorful, and well done. For mains, I tried the chicken tikka, saag paneer, and India's thali, which gives you a little bit of everything. Everything was delicious and felt thoughtfully prepared. I ended up taking some of the thali to go along with a mango lassi, which made for great leftovers. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

I get to write about this wonderful Indian restaurant again. What a privilege!!…read more By using the coupon I got when I placed a delivery order for a few items only a week or so ago, my daughter and I got us... -Papadam -Daal Tadka -Steamed Chicken Momo (The code on the coupon discounted our total for 15%; dine-in rate is/was 10%) This was an online order for a pickup so we actually got to go to the store to pick it up. I have been inside it once before but I really didn't remember any of the interior. It's quite roomy with mostly red color. It's pretty clean as well. All the way to the south of the building is where the bar is located. Quite the ambiance for sure. The man behind the counter was very pleasant to me. He was still packing our food so he said it'd be a few minutes. No worries; I wasn't in a hurry or anything!! Once food was meticulously put in a large brown bag, he politely handed it to me with a very meaningful "Thank you!" What a nice gesture that was. The great smell of the food was emitting from the bag; the hearty smell filled the entire car where all we could think of was devouring the food. Once home, we immediately proceeded to the mother/daughter mealtime. -Steamed Chicken Momo: By far the best momo we have ever eaten. Amazing dish with no flaws. We almost fainted as we ate it (ha ha!!) I know this is a bit of an exaggeration but it was that good. -Daal Tadka (mild): I am a big fan of lentil based dishes and this (along with the other lentil based one named Daal Makhani on the menu) is a delightful non-meat option. Daal Makhani does have a noticeable amount of oil used in the dish but this yellow lentil dish is lighter in the oil content. This also mesmerized our palates where we became mute as we took each bite to savor it. Simply amazing. -Papadam: Indian version of tortilla chips is the best way to describe it. They are so light; these are guilty-free side dish to munch on with a sauces of your choice. -Rice Pudding: This was a shocking find. The chef's compliment or whatever it was, the restaurant kindly included this in our bag free of charge. What a nice gesture to appreciate us the customers!! Thank you,Chutney for this kind and lovely gift. 10 out of 10 takeout experience to say the least!

I was super excited to try this location because they had a later than average lunch hours (going til 4pm). Unfortunately, there were several food safety concerns. Many dishes were not properly chilled or warmed and appeared to be sitting out for long periods. Most items were only lukewarm unless they had just been freshly placed. I also noticed a small roach near the sauce area. I did not mention it to staff, as it was in plain sight and appeared to be a juvenile, so I assume they are already aware and possibly addressing the issue. Because of these issues, along with some dirty dishes and glasses, I would not recommend the lunch buffet or plan to return, despite enjoying the flavors and service.

The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
