First he welcomed us with free middle eastern coffee called karak. Its dark black coffee with cardamom. We ordered the lamb kabob platter , hammus and pita bread. The food is delicious, hearty ,freshly made and authentic. And then comes the generous part! He came out with generous amount of free fried chicken for my friend and for me with freshly made baba ganoush and warm fresh pita bread! Not just that, he also gave us soda for free! Such a kind man with great hospitality. Even if it wasnt for the free food, i would still rate this restaurant highest because of the delicious food and such a humble and kind owner who makes you feel at home. You must visit atleast once to experience it.

The place has a rustic Middle Eastern vibe but it's not kept well. The table we first got had food stains on the table cloth and a dirty fur coat on the wall. We decided to move to a different table. I saw food on other tables as well. The owner spent most of the time in the back talking to someone than waiting on us. We didn't get silverware until the main course and never got water. I went to the fridge in the front after our meal was done because we were tired of waiting and thirsty. The falafel is the best thing that we had. It was fresh but a bit oil. It had a nice crunch to it and the flavor profile was good. The sauce with it was average but good. The mixed grilled platter was underwhelming. The best meat was the lamb. There wasn't much flavor in the chicken and the other meat was too dry. I think the veggies were a bit too chard for my liking. The shawarma was not that great. It seamed as if it was chicken chunks and not the properly cooked. The flavor was not great either. There's nothing given as a side or sauce. There's bottles of ketchup on the tables but they looked not too appealing to use. Instead of napkins, you get Kleenex. While the food can be good. I would recommend ordering takeout from here. As a small business I wish nothing but the best and hope the owner cleans up the place more and improves the customer service.

I ordered online and then went to pick up my order. Nupa is staffed by wonderful people!…read more The place is small. In terms of what it looks like, it could be the McDonald's of Greek food BUT the menu is filled with items made from fresh ingredients. The Calamari is lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned. We chose pita chips over pitas. For the additional side we chose hummus. The hummus was good but at the end of the huge meal, it was one of the things most leftover. The servings of each meal were incredibly generous. The Gyro was heaped with so much meat that I was so glad to have spent the $0.75 for extra tzaziki with the Gyro Platter. The Gyro comes with the option of adding a side with it for less than it would be if ordering a side separately, if you want grilled zucchini which had the BEST flavor! Also you could choose fries, rice, or a couple other options. The Gyro Platter comes with gyro meat and a second option. Then there are also 2 sides that you pick to go along with them. If you want additional gyro meat (OMG, most people won't be able to eat it in one sitting!) you can add it here for half the price of getting it just as a side I figured that we needed to try the Baklava. I got one piece for 2 people to share. Looking at the small piece, I probably would have ordered 2. But I am happy to have shared so I did not over-eat too much. After a few hours, the baklava insisted that I try it. The absolute GLORY that is GOOD baklava!!! It did not taste like sugary sweet corn syrup. It tasted like honey and nut and pastry... Everything the best baklava is!

The Lemon Chicken Soup was yummy, tart, but not a heavy base. Typical Greek salad was good. Gyro meat was good, not dry. Great value for the cost. Highly recommend!

I love Beirut. It has quickly became one of my favorite local spots…read more It's great for both sit-down and takeout. Their online ordering system is super easy to use, and ordering in person is just as smooth. The menu has such a good variety, everything from fresh salads to wraps and kebab plates. Honestly, everything I've tried has been so good. The garlic sauce is a must, it's incredible. My go-to is the shawarma unwrapped because you get a huge portion and can build it exactly how you want. The food is fantastic and the portions are very generous. The space is clean with plenty of seating, and the staff is amazing. They're so friendly and always make sure you have everything you need.

Lebanese food is just one of those foods that we can't live without. So while we were sad when "The Port" closed, we were excited to hear they were opening Beirut Street Food. Today we ordered their Kabob family meal. That comes with a lot of our favorites. The choice of 4 kabobs, we picked chicken and kafta, 2 vegetable kabobs, salad, their delicious lebanese rice, bread and the addictive toum. We added a few grape leaves and extra bread to snack with that toum. Those who know love bread and tourm. Everything was excellent! I have tried multiple times to make kafta at home and it never is as good as they make it. The chicken is always cooked perfectly. A nice char from the grill, and tender and juicy on the inside. The grape leaves a nice balance of sour from the leaves filled with savory rice and meat. So good. The vegetables were grilled perfectly. Not overly grilled, sweet with a little crisp. Everything was just as we remembered. They are now located in a strip mall with plenty of parking and a few seats inside. While the Sultan is not on their menu., they do have lots of other tasty options that we look forward to returning for.One of our favorite places!

I go there for the delicious Middle Eastern food, which, for a buffet, is amazingly fresh and tasty. It helps, of course, that the buffet is replenished frequently. It includes a wide variety of salads, hummus, pita, soup, protein, and desserts--and it's all delicious! If you have not been to the family-owned Mediterranean Cruise, the building itself is surprisingly large and impressive. It features a 25-foot or higher ceiling, a private dining area, and even space for belly dancing presentations. While Mediterranean Cruise offers Mezas, soups, salads, rice and hummus bowls, sandwiches, and more off the menu, you must try the buffet to truly appreciate the breadth of their offerings. Highly recommended.

I have pretty high standards for Greek/Mediterranean food, and it just doesn't stand out anymore. The pita has been dry, although the hummus is still solid. The platters are fine overall, but nothing particularly memorable. Service has also been a bit underwhelming recently compared to past visits. That said, the atmosphere is still a highlight. The space feels very authentic with all the decor, and the belly dancers are always a fun touch. The patio is also nice if you're able to sit outside. Parking can be a little tight in their lot, but there's a ramp nearby which makes it easier.
