From stepping into the office to the care I received throughout my treatment, I felt like I was a VIP. The front desk, George, greeted me. He was very friendly and hung up my jacket. Was in pain and came in out of emergency since they had an opening. Beautiful office and nice staff. However, the dentist was extremely rough. I was bleeding all over the place during my cleaning--first and only time this has ever happened to me. I've been getting regular checkups since I was a child and I have bled a bit, but this was bad! She implied I don't take care of my teeth as well. She also suggested some kind of minor surgery in the future, but did not do a very good job explaining it at all. I followed up at another dentist that came highly recommended to me by a close friend and I had a cleaning that was painless and I didn't bleed at all! He also said I did NOT require any kind of surgery fyi. Needless to say, I will not return to this dentist and I do not recommend unless you want somebody to make you feel crappy. read more

Absolutely beautiful dental clinic, felt like i was in a luxurious hotel not a medical facility.Main reason I decided to go to the new dentist was that Dr. Nina is treating children too , so i could just make an appointment for a weekend for the whole family and get over with all our checkups and cleanings. I am, to my great chagrin, a dental power-user -- and Bow Tie is the only practice I've ever *fully* trusted / do not dread visiting. TL:DR: Dr. Nina is a real perfectionist, in exactly the way you'd want your dentist or doctor or surgeon to be. She seems to care deeply about each patient's dental health (keeping track of every spot and chip and tracking it over time) *and* about their experience at the practice -- from TVs and protective goggles, to state-of-the-art equipment that makes everything (especially x-rays and photos) feel way less invasive. She's the kind of thorough, relationship-oriented dentist who does every routine cleaning herself (instead of having dental hygienists do it all and popping in for 1 minute at the end ... ahem, Tend!). On top of that, Dr. Nina and her staff (the wonderful George and Nick, who are just as thorough in their roles -- and work tirelessly to make magic happen with your dental insurance!) are incredibly thoughtful about costs; they're very much "on your side," if that makes sense. I've never felt upsold or blindsided by a bill. I've referred my husband and one of my best friends to Dr. Nina's practice, and they love this place just as much as I do. I am one of those people that are not very dentist friendly, specially in this COVID time, I was trying to avoid going to a dentist. But, I had an emergency and had to see a dentist right away. Most places I called, including the dental office I usually go to, we're pretty booked. So, a friend of mine recommended this office as she has been a patient of Dr. Nina and I could not be any happier that I had decided to come here. First of all, the office staff is super friendly. Spoke with George, who was extremely kind and helpful. He patiently worked with my schedule and got me an appointment time according to my availability. Secondly, the office is supper, supper clean, everything is brand new, it felt like I was in a lounge rather than a dental office. They take all possible precautions in order to keep their patients safe. They use this oral sanction device, which I have not seen before, that, I guess, sucks in any particles that may fly out of mouth during a procedure, and addition to that they use UV light device to sanitise the room after each patient. So all of this was a huge plus for me. And last but definitely not the least, Dr. Nina is a treasure. I have never had such a thorough and detailed explanation of a treatment. She has an outstanding bedside manner. I have never had such fearless and painless dental treatment. It was so good that I already scheduled my semi annual check up.
