I have been going to this dentist office in Queens, NY for a few years now. The office desk person is very friendly and prompt. When I first arrive, within a few minutes (sometimes instantly) I'm helped into a room. My doctor, Dr. Dallet, is very nice and friendly. She does her job properly and makes sure that I'm comfortable during the procedure. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience. I don't normally leave negative reviews usually, if I have a bad experience, I just move on and don't return. But in this case, I feel it's important to share what happened so others can make an informed decision. I visited this dental office due to discomfort in one of my teeth and was told I needed a root canal because of an infection. I mentioned that I was leaving for vacation in a week and asked if it could wait until I returned. The dentist strongly advised that I get it done immediately due to the infection risk, so I agreed. I had the root canal two days before my trip. While on vacation in another state, I started experiencing severe pain. I ended up having to see an endodontist, paying $600 out of pocket. They confirmed I had a large abscess and were surprised I had not been prescribed antibiotics especially given I had an active infection going into the procedure. Right after my root canal, while checking out, I specifically asked the front desk if I needed a prescription for antibiotics. The receptionist told me no. I trusted her answer, even though I thought antibiotics were usually part of the protocol. While still on vacation, I called the dental office to explain the situation and asked if there was any possibility of compensation, since I had to seek emergency care due to what I believe was a preventable issue. I was told someone would get back to me after speaking with the manager. Three days passed with no response. I followed up and was told the owner was out of the country and would contact me the following week. A week passed no call. I followed up again and was told they were still waiting to hear back from the owner. Eventually, I got a text message stating that symptoms after a root canal are normal with or without antibiotics, and that no refund or credit would be provided. I called back to clarify that I had a known infection before root canal, and the development of an abscess afterward is not normal in that situation. I also reiterated that I had asked the receptionist about antibiotics, and while I understand it's not her role to prescribe medication, she should have confirmed with the dentist before confidently telling me I didn't need any. Worst of all, despite multiple follow-ups, I never heard directly from the manager or owner, even though I was told I would. Instead, I received a dismissive message and no accountability. I had originally planned to return to this office for a crown, but after the poor communication, lack of follow-through, and unprofessionalism I experienced, I won't be going back. read more

This was my first visit and I am thoroughly satisfied with my whole experience. I am a tough critic, who is very hard to please but Dr Ewa Sokal and her team exceeded my expectations! Dr Sokal was very accommodating and knowledgeable. She explained and reviewed my X-rays and detailed all findings. Very poor service and ridiculous out of pocket prices. I have previously been there for a few visits and all they care about is money. They also fraudulently submitted an authorization for a procedure that wasn't requested to the insurance company for work that wasn't even requested/needed. Upon calling them and asking to cancel the request ( as per my insurance) so there's no issues in the future if the work is actually needed ..... they gave me a hard time. They then had the audacity to send me a letter saying the "patient/dentist" trust has been broken and they can longer have me as a patient. Glad we were both on the same page, I have no trust in a "professional" who is submitting fraudulent requests behind their patients back. read more

Took my father to see the dentist here (I believe her name is Dr Sookal). We must have caught her at a wrong timing cause she was very hyper and pissed when she came to see my father. She didn't even let me finish my sentence, she cut me midway in such a rude tone. When everything was done, she did not even give a referral for an oral surgeon. Just told us to come back for a cleaning after the extractions. Absolutely not. The girls at the front desks were very sweet and kind though. read more

Horrible service. Had an appointment at 10:30am I arrived at 10:10 hoping to be taken early. Unfortunately, another patient arrived at 10:30 for her 10am appointment, yet they took her before me! I was only there for a cleaning and check up. I ended up asking the front desk when will they take me and she said there's one patient ahead of me. At this point another 10:30 arrives and again they take him! So finally it's 11;05 and no communication from their side. They call the 11am appointment who came in. At this point I left, so yea I would not recommend this place they wasted my day. FYI I'm polish as well so I understand them bad mouthing in the back. read more

Been going there for a while now and this time cleaning took 17 mins . Didn't floss my teeth, she just used tooth paste after 10 mins of cleaning . I will keep going there but I hope somebody else will take care of my teeth . read more

Dr.Sokal is the best dentist out there, very honest and there is no pain when she performs anything, is very patient and listens to your concerns. Has been mine and my families primary dentist and only dentist for over 10 years. Highly recommend. read more

I have never felt as uncomfortable and disrespected as I did in this dental clinic. They also do a poor dental job and privacy isn't a concern here. The amount of other people's business that I heard is extremely concerning. These people also charge a $20 COVID service fee, which is extremely illegal. Stay away from this dental office..When I had my root canal done two moths ago I shouldn't feel any pain anymore... but i do because they did a terrible job...when I called and complained that I was in pain and couldn't take it anymore , they could not see me bcoz I was too late , are you kidding me: you made a mistake and can't fix it. My niece has never felt as uncomfortable as she did while being in this dental clinic. Firstly, all of the workers here act entitled and have nasty, rude attitudes towards their clients. Secondly, Dr. Sokol is extremely unprofessional, rude, and is simply not fit to work with other people. There were multiple occasions where she was rushing to get to other clients and wouldn't even bother numbing my niece before performing dental work on her. There were multiple occasions where Dr. Sokol would be getting angry and going off on her assistants while my niece was there as well. It makes an unprofessional and uncomfortable environment. Dr. Sokol even went as far as to tell my niece she could get a little lip filler. Telling a 16 year-old child she should get cosmetic work done after working in her mouth is unprofessional and should not be acceptable. Also, this clinic is money hungry. At the beginning of the pandemic when the office reopened, clients were being charged $20 upon entry for having their shoes sprayed with Lysol. Charging additionally for a service that should be automatically provided while people are struggling financially goes to show that you can find a better, more professional dentist office for your money! read more

I went to three different orthodontists before I came here to see Dr. Sam after he did a great treatment on my friend's teeth. I felt super respected and informed of all my options and how much they would cost and look. He recommended the cheapest and fastest method instead of just telling me to get invisalign (which is what every other dentist said). My treatment cost between $2000 and $3000 less than the other orthodontists and I am super happy with office cleanliness, super short wait time, and a job well done. read more

Eurodental's staff is very warm and welcoming. It's modern/hip interior design makes the waiting environment pleasant, but there's hardly a wait at all. After filling out a couple pages of forms for my first visit, I was seen right away. The cleaning, x-rays, and exam went by very fast. In total, I spent about 30 minutes from between the time I walked in to the time I walked out. I couldn't be more satisfied and came away impressed by Eurodental's speed, efficiency, and professionalism. Three thumbs up. :) read more

I highly recommend this dentist. Professional, fast, and polite. Have never been a fan of the dentist, then again who is. I am having procedures done with this dentist in segments that work for me. I like the office overall but todays treatment left me dissapointed. I had some "regular" dental work to be done like fillings and my dentist was so aggresive that my tounge is bruised, she was also putting a lot of pressure and sticking the suction far in my mouth and gums making me feel uncomfortable and assistant could care less while keeping the suction on my hair. Also, the dentist left me on the chair with half way work done for around 10 mins to take care of personal business (how unproffesional especially when you clearly hear its personal). More to that bc of the timing they left compresses in my mouth. Ugh i have to go back there Friday and really hope I will be leaving pain free. read more

I had done root canal and crown by Dr. Avner and Sokal , all the work that was done by them was done poorly and I had to re- do it . The crown that Dr. Avner made was too big and was put on a tooth that still had cavity and I was not informed about it . Also , Dr. Ewa didn't do great job on simple root canal work and fillings . I had to re-do all the teeth that I had done in their office. I don't believe they are professional . I believe that this practice is only about money .
