Even during peak times. What truly makes the gym special are the people I have met. The staff are all very friendly. Kevin is always polite and greets everyone by 1st name on a daily basis. Zac is beyond knowledgeable and always ready to help with form tips or equipment proper use and has become part of my family. Brian the owner has always been super helpful and friendly to me. Jen- Brian's wife is the sweetest and inspires other women by her incredible physique! This place is dirty, bathrooms don't work, employees don't communicate about the details of signing up, and machines are broken half the time. Literally this gym sells nothing but ambiance and aesthetic. Recently spoke with Liz about canceling my membership. I was offered a discount for the following months & declined. Person at the front desk walked me through the process of canceling my membership online to only be told afterwards that my buddy pass was in a 12 month contract & i'd be paying for it until next February, which was never communicated with me. Now there's no main membership with an active buddy pass that I have to continue paying for without being able to utilize it! How does that even make sense? Scammers all the way around. I'll be causing hell until my buddy pass contract is cancelled.

It is also nice that they have classes that are different durations of time (30,45 and 60 minute) Makes it very convenient if I only have a little time. The employees and managers are also very nice. I'll also mention that they have a very large variety of free weights which is awesome. Cons would be that it is usually very crowded, I have yet to come in when it's not insanely crowded. The parking is a bit difficult because the shopping center the gym is located in is very busy. I also don't like how they have people selling stuff. Like there is always 3ish people that are selling things and they set up their shop in the gym. It is odd and one of the sellers started talking to me when I was just passing by about whatever she was selling and gave me her business card, it did put me off. I want to work out and listen to my music and not have someone trying to sell me something.

Some of the instructors I had actually taken classes with at a different club even before Lagreeology opened, so I already knew the quality of teaching -- and this studio has truly maintained a high standard. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the routines and teaching methods. Each instructor is professional and has their own style and focus. If you are new, I would definitely recommend trying a few different instructors so you can find the best fit for your level, goals, and workout preference. I have tried at least five different Lagree studios, and overall, Lagreeology is the best. The studio is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of street parking and underground parking available with a gate code. Just be aware that if you are taking an 8 a.m. weekday class, there may be a little traffic nearby since the studio is right across from First Avenue Middle School in Arcadia. Overall, highly recommend Lagreeology if you are looking for a professional, clean, and effective Lagree workout studio.

I have come to this gym on and off throughout the years. It used to be a very nice gym, but these…read moredays, it is completely the opposite. Most employees do not acknowledge or greet you when you walk in. I believe there are transients who come here to work out and shower. The locker room is disgusting, smells bad, and has no AC circulation. The lockers are falling apart on the inside, with chipped and exposed particle board. The toilets and urinals are disgusting, as you can see in the photos from other reviews. Most of the treadmills are not working, and the gym area is small. The basketball area is probably larger than the actual gym area. I'm surprised this gym is in such poor condition, especially considering the area it is located in.
