This is in addendum to the earlier review by Scott, and just the other adults experience I will have to start my review to this company by mentioning that I was one of the families that has respectfully followed the COVID restrictions and also was badly affected by this virus. So, for my family and friends going for an outdoors adventure was a very big deal and we were very excited. After researching for an outdoors activity we decided to try Boundless Adventures and even though the price was VERY EXPENSIVE; ($310; THREE HUNDRED AND TEN for THREE KIDS YOUNGER THAN 12 and two adults) I decided to give it a try. When we got there, I bought 4 pair of gloves for around 30 dollars and right after that and before we even left the office we were told that we were not going to be able to climb due rain coming up. I understood the situation and asked the person in the front desk to refund me for the money and that I was going to call to reserve later. The person refused to refund or send a proof of credit and she told me to call later and promised I was going to have a full credit for it. I asked her again for a proof and she told me that she had no way to send me something but that I would not have any problems with future reservation. Approx. two weeks later, the family decided to use the credit we were promised and I called to reserve. When I called the person who answered the phone told me that I just had a credit for $100 dollars and that I already used half of the time of climbing. (Never made it to wear the harness which is the firs step to climb). He was telling me that I was refunded some money to my credit card and that 100 dollars was all I had in my account. His comments were with a horrible attitude and tried to fight me for my own right to use the services I previously paid for. After talking to him and explaining over and over many times that I was never refunded he decided that he was GOING TO GIVE ME A CHANCE to utilize the facilities...sadly, my kids were so excited that I took one of the only times he mentioned they had. Soon, I realized that the time was not going to work and tried calling several time with no answer to cancel. I finally figured that I was not going to be able to reach out to anyone and decided that leaving a message was probably the best way to let them know we were not going to be able to make it on time and that we wanted to reschedule the next day. I also wrote an email explaining the situation and called the next day. The same guy who appears to be the OWNER of the business answered my phone call in a very RUDE, NASTY and UNPROFESSIONAL WAY. He was RAISING HIS VOICE in the phone call higher and higher telling me that he was trying his business to recover from covid. Hey! Here is a FAMILY trying to recover from covid too and trying to have their children see some light in the middle of this PANDEMIC in an outdoor experience. The fact that COVID affected your business doesn't give the you the RIGHT to take advantage of a family. I totally understand policies but in this screwed up world we should be more considerate, offer options or just discuss things with RESPECT and KINDNESS. My suggestion for families: - Consider this is a HIGH PRICE attraction - The OWNER does not care about his clients - Consider NUMEROUS OTHER LOWER COST options of the same type attraction before trying this one. read more

This was our first time at Boundless Adventures, and we loved it! It is beautiful, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The harness system they use is great, and felt so much safer than any we've used before. Definitely challenging for all ages. We have children ages 8-13, and they were all engaged. We purchased the 3-hour sessions thinking we probably wouldn't use the whole time, but it flew by. Definitely worth a few extra dollars! We loved that all the courses are in one central area, and that there are picnic tables available for taking breaks to snack or just observing. Just one suggestion--the bathrooms that I believe have been added recently are a nice addition to the port-a-potty option, but they looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was toilet paper piled up in all the toilets, pouring over the trash cans and all over the floors. Also, no water came out of the sink and the soap and sanitizer were gone. Apart from that small issue, this was an amazing place and we will definitely come again! read more

We had a family ranging from age 15-50, and we all were physically and mentally challenged by the courses at BA. We visited as part of a staycation (we kayaked, SUPd, laser tagged, top golfed, mini golfed, you name it), and this was definitely the one we talked about most. We all worked at our own levels, all starting with the green courses, then moving to blue, and 3 of us conquered the black course (and it was a doozy). You always feel physically safe because of the hooks that lock/unlock with a Tweezle - you are always connected. So it's mind over matter and figuring out how you're going to get across the next element. We are already talking about doing it again - but agree with another reviewer - it is pricey for a family to do often. Some kind of discount for repeat guests would be a good idea! read more

Our family enjoyed facing our fears together ages 7-63, we cheered each other on when the going got tough and we ended exhilarated, exhausted and proud that we did it together as a family team! The park is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and we felt safe at all times. We took advantage of the 2 hour weekday special for $40 which was perfect, we couldnt physically do any more time. If we were to improve the accomodations we would add a Porta potty in the middle of the park along with a cold beverage option for sale, like a tub with ice and water, soda, or a soda machine. The water that was offered for free was warm, and it was a hot day and we were really thirsty. We will highly recommend your park, it was awesome! read more

I purchased a Groupon and selected our dates. Due to severe rain and thunderstorms, we received noticed early the day of that the park would be closed. The manager scheduled is for the next day we were available. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful during our time there. The courses were great for my 12 year old nephews and me. I am quite athletic it even pushed me beyond my comfort zone. If you're bring children, even if they're pretty active/ adventurous, walk with them the first go round as you never know when they may freak out. Adults should also be gentle with themselves too as this will push you. But after the first few hours, things got pretty easy. I'll be back to try the black course! read more

I went with my family to zipline after loving our previous experience in Costa Rica. We were surprised to find that the ziplines were a small part of the overall experience. This adventure far surpassed our expectations. There were 9 obstacle courses in the trees that each had several ziplines on them. With 4 levels of difficulty, there was something fun for everyone (including my 8 year old, my 13 year old, and my husband). Family bonding at its best! We overcame some fears. We cheered each other on. And we all felt amazing when it was over. We are already planning our next trip for the spring! read more

We had an amazing experience at Boundless Adventure. The staff was incredibly helpful, & they were focused on making sure everyone had a safe & enjoyable time. The safety briefing was clear, and easy to understand, which helped our group feel confident before starting the courses. It is an excellent place to do team building. We were constantly encouraging, helping and challenging each other and walked away feeling greatly accomplished. Excellent facility and great time in the nature away from all the electronics. Kids just loved times together with friends and families. We enjoyed our time there, The staff was friendly and encouraging. The course levels gave each member of our party an opportunity to push ourselves to the limit. I was particularly grateful, that noticing the weather forecast was getting iffy, Boundless Adventures called and offered to let us start early so we could have plenty of time there before the storms came through. The forest was beautiful, the rope courses were challenging but fun. I took my kids (ages 8-12) and I participated too! This was a fun and unique outing for the kids, but definitely fun for adults! We plan to go back with another couple for a "date night." This was the best rope course I have ever been on. Pack water and food. They have picnic tables in the middle of the course. read more

We had my son's 8th birthday party here and we could hardly get the boys down from the trees to eat! Everyone loved it and we will be back. One note: if you don't have enough adults in your party to take the kids on more difficult courses, pay for the extra guide(s)! All of the boys ended up wanting to do the harder courses and the guides were fantastic. read more
