I am leaving a review (which is rare) because my experience with Century Management Financial…read moreAdvisors has really been above and beyond what I expected. Prior to them, I was meeting with other potential advisors. Conversations all ended the same after getting nowhere. I may not have millions like some clients but it was respectable. Still, I kept having the same experience which made me feel behind and a little silly. When I spoke to Century Management Financial Advisors, I was surprised that they were treating me, my money, and concerns as if I were one of their most important clients. They were completely focused on me. I received help with financial planning, setting up a budget and goals, and was given clear investment guidance because they also took the time to educate me. And I had a ton of questions which they answered gladly, treating each as a key part of the relationship. I wish I would have started with them first. I finally have a clear path forward and peace of mind. Plus, I know I'm finally dealing with my finances the right way! I cannot say enough good things about them.

We recently completed a comprehensive financial planning process with Century Management Financial…read moreAdvisors and had a very positive experience. The plan was tailored to a period of transition for us, with multiple moving pieces to think through, including a potential home purchase, family planning, and changes in income over time. The team covered budgeting, tax considerations, savings, and long-term planning, and their planning software was especially helpful in visualizing different scenarios and showing how various financial decisions could affect our overall goals. Scott, David, and Rachel were attentive, patient, and easy to work with. They took the time to answer questions, explain concepts clearly, and make the process feel collaborative rather than transactional or pushy. It has also been valuable to work with the same firm on both financial planning and investment management. Having one team with a full view of our situation has made the experience feel seamless and comprehensive, and has given us greater confidence in our overall financial direction.

I have always been with State Farm, but transferred my policy to Greg Meyer's office when I moved to Texas. During a storm, I experienced a broken limb from a front yard tree that impaled the roof of my house. State Farm handled my claim quickly and professionally. I recently spent an hour on the phone talking to Greg to review my present policies, allowing me to ask a number of important questions. I appreciate this kind of service, and I can absolutely recommend this State Farm Agent.

I was confused by this, mainly because there were other State Farm agents much closer to where I live. This was more of a minor annoyance. The major annoyance came when I got into a car accident in March of 2019. This resulted in my year and three month old red Honda Civic being totalled. The accident was not my fault and State Farm did pay for some of my car's value. I feel for what I was paying them for insurance and the young age of my vehicle, they should have fully paid for a new car. I lost about $4000 in the difference of the settlement check paid and buying a new car. Please note this was the same model Honda Civic, just a year newer. A few weeks later I ended up in the Emergency room with severe positional vertigo as a result of the accident. The driver who hit me did not have insurance, so he did not cover anything. I had spoken to an representative of Greg Meyer's office about my insurance coverage shortly before getting divorced and moving to an apartment. I set up rental car insurance and rental property insurance. I had comprehensive insurance coverage on my car, but did not have uninsured motorist or PIP insurance. These guys did not make me aware of how vital these two pieces of coverage are. I am now facing over $5000 in associated medical bills with no way to pay for any of it. This office let me down and financially I am now screwed because of it.

I am that type of person myself. But she was VERY assertive towards me, treated me like I was something that could be disposed of almost. I will also admit, when she told me that the extension I filed with H&R Block (may I add) failed to be approved by the IRS I freaked out. Either way I made an appointment with her, figuring that's just how she was brought up/raised. My tax advisor at this location, her name is Beatrix Paal. Smart woman, I'll say that. However, after I decided to move forward. I went into the office on a Friday, 07/10. We went over all of my tax documents & paperwork. Over 2 hours, we decided we'd schedule another meeting. Well that meeting NEVER came. She emailed me again on the next Monday keep in mind RIGHT as they were closing. Telling me 'we'd have to reschedule for Friday.' Well that did not work for me I was out of town on Friday-the weekend. I followed up with her this week (07/26). I sent her an email to see if I could get a sense of what I would be looking at since she no longer 'had time' to meet me @ the H&R Block location. We could schedule a phone call. No problem, well lone & behold. She emails me back stating the following: 'Unfortunately I have to take my 8-week furlough & will not be back until September. I think it would be best if you scheduled with someone else.' & she recommended me to another H&R Block tax advisor. I'm going with my CPA form now, the amount of time that I spent with these people would've covered the fee that my CPA would've charged me out of the gate.
