New chairs and design is nice. I recognize a few regular employees. My service was seriously lacking. Gel x mani was 55 and four days later one nail popped off. Pedi was rushed and my toes still feel rough. At no point did anyone trim any rough skin or cuticles on either fingers or toes. Maybe this is how it's done now? Will never go back.

They agreed to a full refund. The person on the phone spoke with everyone to find out exactly who serviced me as I could not remember their name. From what I heard I have faith that the service I received is not a representation of the shop or owner. The full refund was offered prior to the owner seeing my original yelp review, to me that means they are genuine. I was in the area for a few hours and against my better judgment I decided to try this shop. First of all the person who did my pedicure pulled my cuticle and it made me bleed which is extremely stressful, because I am terrified of getting an infection. When I said she hurt me she insisted it was fine. It was sore for 2 days, I had to put rubbing alcohol and ointment on it. I have never had an ingrown nail or any other foot problems so this was completely unexpected. I got my pedicure Monday afternoon, it is now Thursday and the polish is missing from an entire toe. I paid for gel polish, so I don't even know how this is possible. I called to speak with a manager or the owner and I was asked to call back because no one is available. I paid $59 plus a $10 tip and I am extremely dissatisfied. I didn't even like my pedicure, but I was the only Black person in that shop so I felt obligated to tip. She painted the nails like a toddler and she hurt me. When it came time to pay I was informed I could not tip on the card. This should have been explained before service, because I said I have never been here before when I walked in. I went to Walgreens for cash back for a subpar service.

After my visit, I developed an issue on my right toe, which is completely unacceptable and honestly alarming. From what I observed during my appointment, hygiene practices were not being followed properly. I personally saw tools being reused on multiple clients without being properly sanitized, despite the fact that they clearly have sanitation machines available. That alone is a serious violation and puts customers at risk. When I brought this issue up, the man at the front with the thick eyebrows did absolutely nothing to help. There was no concern, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the situation. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering the severity of what happened. Because of this, I will be reporting this salon to the Board of Cosmetology. No one should have to worry about infections or unsafe practices when getting something as routine as a nail service. Please be careful if you are considering coming here. Your health and safety should always come first, and based on my experience, this place does not meet those standards.
