Boulevard Home Furniture sold me a power chair ... I am somewhat handicapped and need assistance. Well, the chair was defective and fell apart with me in it causing me to fall out the back. Long story short, store officials were very apologetic and Mr Dave Thomas came to my house with a mechanic who determined the chair was not repairable. THEN ... THEY HAULED IT AWAY AND CHARGED ME $45 for the hauling. Mr Thomas explained it's company policy. I asked them to change that 'policy' and haven't heard back. Sad. read more

We purchased a bed from them unfortunately. The side of the bed blew out after six weeks and they said they are not going to warranty it because it's from sitting on the edge of the bed. WTF? Isn't that normal use of a bed, sitting on the edge while putting your socks on? Not only that my wife only weighs 130lb it's not like we are very large people. DO NOT BUY a mattress or anything for that matter from this store. They are dishonest,rude,and incompetent. This isn't the first purchase we've made from them either,we have brought washers and dryers, couches, recliners, etc. They have lost a good customer and all my family and friends won't be shopping there either. read more

We came in ready to buy $3000 worth of furniture that we had already picked out. We made eye contact with several associates including the one we had previously worked with. We even tried to get her attention and ask her to help and she walked away. Horrible customer service. We waited 20 min and even on the way out walked past several associates not with customers that didn't even acknowledge us. Ok I was contacted by management in regard to this incident. They were able to get us back in the store and make the situation right. Their store manager Dave was excellent and very apologetic. they all made sure we understood this is not the way they want to be viewed or how they do business. I was happy to see that this seems as though it was not the norm and when they saw the error they made it right. Purchased a dish washer over a week ago. Installer came out to install unit 5 days later. Only did a partial install. Has been over one week and he has not returned to finish the installation. Called store and they told me that it will be over 2 weeks before he is able to come back and finish the installation. BH read my review, came out a week later to finish the install. I believe a refund for the install is now in order. After the 2nd visit the completed install was poorly done. While the dishwasher does work now, the unit appears to be installed crooked as it is almost impossible to close the door and the controls are buried so far under the counter they are almost unusable. We are quite dissatisfied and should have stuck with Home Depot. We won't be using BH again. read more

If I could give those people in the repair department a "0" I would. the fact that I have had to have appliances and furniture repaired speaks for the merchandise I suppose. I bought all New appliances and furniture for my home. My refrigerator did not work at all and had to be replaced (delayed my move in for 1.5 months while waiting), my cooktop was missing parts and had to have a service call. Then the dresser Came with a dent and had to be replaced and my sofa is now on its 5th repair because originally they dropped it on delivery. The repair guy is not an upholstery man, does a wonky job and can only work so long at a time so he was back 4 times because he left the job undone or made it worse. The last time I said no more so they sent the sofa back to the manufacturer because they said it was a warranty issue. They have had it going on 2 weeks and I'm getting the run around when I ask why is it not back when they told me it would be a week. The repair department has absolutely horrible customer service, the repair guy I had does not know what he is doing, the manager and the repair coordinator do not put customer first. So if you buy from them, hopefully you don't have to have something fixed. I should have been given a new sofa And they should have to deal with the repair for their showroom. Their dishwasher installer was amazing, think his name was Jason). No excuses or idle chit chat. Just come in and done the job quickly and thorough. Very personable. Boulevard is another story. They had a promotion to get $150 off purchase. Salesman didn't mention it and person at desk didn't mention when we were paying for purchase. I saw add and called to have it applied. Said they'd do it but it's been 3 weeks and keep getting run around that it's someone else's responsibility to issue it. Still no promotion credit. I posted this review. yesterday. Today I started getting calls from employees at the business. Problem was handled immediately, and promotion amount was credited back to me. read more

As a longtime customer, and a happy one up until now! We purchased a dishwasher from them and it was to be delivered Friday. Sunday we received an email saying it would now be on Tuesday . Alright no big deal, they dropped off a large box in the middle of our small kitchen and told us someone would be out Friday to install it! Who in the heck brings you an appliance and then installs it three days later! We have dealt with Todd and Bob and have no complaints with either of them, they are both great no pressure sales people! Someone needs to straighten out the delivery set up operation! My wife and I stopped in to look for a new mattress for our guest room. Our sale person was Allen Marine. After we decided which mattress to purchase I said, let's go look at bar stools. Allen wrote up the complete order, and set up the delivery. After the order was completed I happened to mention that we received a $50.00 coupon in the mail that had expired. Allen said to bring it in and they would honor it. (Deliver) The driver called me in the morning and gave me a 2 hour time slot. They were on time and set up the bed and bar stools for us. No. Just NO. Boulevard Home should change their slogan to Pay More, Get Less. Don't fall for that "hometown" talk, it is obviously just talk. We purchased all brand new appliances from them. Before first year was up, our dishwasher started leaking. Took them nearly 3 weeks to get repairman out. He changed the seal, ran a few loads with no leak, and we thought it was repaired. Month or so later, it began leaking again. Took several weeks for Boulevard to return our calls. Several more weeks before repairman could come out. He looks it over and said they'll be in touch, he needs to research the problem. Weeks later, they call and say we need a new inner door. We will be charged $79 for some parts. Of course, once again it was weeks before repair. This fiasco began when dishwasher was under warranty. It obviously wasn't fixed the first time, and now we must pay. This was about an 8 month ordeal. My cabinet was damaged from the dishwasher leaking. Don't risk this kind of service. We always try to shop local, but this is the exception. Big disappointment! read more

I walked around in this location for about 20 minutes before I was approached by a saleslady. Everything is so overpriced! I found similar items online for less than half the price. Unless you have deep pockets, I don't recommend shopping here. And yes the furniture I bought was quality... They came from Ashley, which Boulevard carries the same items, just at a higher price. read more

My experience with this company was/is nightmarish. I have had one bad experince after another. We spent over 20 k replacing our furniture after a sewer flood, giving Blvd home all our business. Thinking we were building small town loyalty instead of going with other big box stores. Our worst decision ever. Several of the items came defective or broken. We called them to come fix it. About six months later only two of the problems have been addressed. They give the run around every time we call. It's either not the right person to talk to, or the parts haven't come, or they came but are wrong, or there are just too many jobs for the service department. Our insurance company was paying blvd but they stopped paying with 1,300 left owing Blvd. (A cap was reached with our insurance company) So we asked Blvd to then put this last amount owing on a payment plan as my daughter and I are on a poverty level fixed income.They point blank refused to work with us AND said pay up or they will charge our account 800 dollars in interest every month until we can pay off (they are caulcating interest on the whole original amount not just the 1,300 left owing after our insurance payed their part.) I strongly recommend that the Buyer Beware! These guys are crooks and they'll rob you blind. They will be more than happy to take your money but if you have a complaint they are not interested. This store has some nice stuff... but their business practices are way off! I was sold a washer, that for whatever reason didnt work. (It blew the GFI outlet the minute it was turned on). An electrician confirmed it was the machine... but their repairman swore it was the outlet. The electrician changed the outlet, just to ensure it wasnt sensitive or faulty in any way... but the machine did the same thing. After a month... the store replaced it and the new machine worked fine! The gas hookup charge was $120, but the delivery guys couldnt hook it up because their gas line was not long enough... and they wouldnt touch one I offered to go buy at home depot (5 min away)... when they still had lots of furniture to bring in and assemble. I spent thousands of dollars! The builder sent one of his guys who bought the parts and hooked it up for me. The store said they would refund that charge, but could not find a code that worked. So, after several followups, they turned it in to a delivery charge! (And l am less than 10 minutes away from the store. Delivery is free...) I had nothing to do with why the original washer didnt work and there should be no delivery charge for the replacement! Just bad business!!! I have paperwork that shows the gas hookup charge, AND... it has THEIR comment that customer did their own hookup! But now I received a bill showing a $120 balance due... with no explanation! So we are not finished with this! Wrong is wrong... and this is wrong on every level... NEVER again Boulevard Home! read more

My husband & I were down to my nephews wedding in August of 2017 we popped in to boulevard just to look around & we ended up buying a log bedroom set, dave was our salesman, my mom ended up buying a bedroom set as well Just not a log one, Dave also helped her with her purchase. We have since purchased a sectional & a bed for my husband's son. They have great financing a large selection to choose from. The only place to purchase large household items. The store itself is new - about six months old. And being full of new furniture, it smells good inside. I know how weird that sounds but it makes a difference because I've been in furniture stores that don't smell good and all you want to do is get out of there. Bear in mind that these stores were in the bad part of Vegas but still . . . Dave Leavitt was our salesman and he was very good. We were about to walk out of the store when he turned us into buyers. He knows how to sell and knows his product. We were after two recliners. We bought two Lazy Boys. I hope Dave gets commission because we'll be back. We need more furniture and we saw a nice 55" LG smart TV that we want. He'll probably talk us into the 70" instead. I hope. :-) read more

This is a really nice furniture store in Cedar city... They have a great selection and reasonable prices. Their service is awesome. In fact when they made a delivery up to my cabin in the strawberry point area, they accidentally only brought my chair and not the sofa at two. The store manager Dave Thomas and a coworker actually drove his personal truck up and delivered it so I didn't have to drive back up from Vegas for a second delivery date! They went above and beyond to make up for their oversight and I was very grateful! read more

Where do I start? It is the middle of April and we started this journey in November. We ordered a sectional couch set and they said one of the pieces was missing and they would order it. They told us it would take a couple of weeks and they would call us when it was in. The next week they delivered the couch set. The delivery boys were kinda clumsy and young so I just pawned their behaviour off on their age. They moved our old sectional upstairs, didn't attach together for us, and were very inept at attaching a sectional couch together for professional furniture movers. It was quiet comical actually, except they handled the couches very roughly, picking them up by the cushions and throwing them around by the corners. I didn't appreciate that. Now we move into December. We decided that we liked the insert with the cup holders and thought about buying another one. We went in to order it and check up on the missing piece, the guy I ordered it from was just kinda being goofy and I couldn't tell if he was joking or serious. Found out when he said the chair we have been waiting on for three weeks is still in a bin in China, that he wasn't joking. It won't be here till the bin is full and with Chinese New Year that won't be until probably March. Well imagine my surprise when this is the first time we have heard this news, because three weeks ago when they wanted us to pay them it was two weeks. So they apologised and offered to give us the floor models to borrow for the three months or let us have all the money we put down and we could go somewhere else. So we decided to wait and give them a chance. We waited, and waited. On March 19th my husband stopped in there to see if the couches arrived, I told him they said they would call when they get here just leave them alone. He went in and came back out and said, "Yep, they arrived last week!" They never called! Now you would think after all they have put us through and after holding on to $3000.00 of ours for almost 5 months that they would want to call us and get those couches to us and make us happy customers instead of dissatisfied people who will never darken their door again. Ever. No. We even tried having them deliver them still. We told them my work hours they said they would deliver afterwards. They called Tuesday morning at 9:30 and said the delivery hours which was right during my work hours I said I wouldn't be home they seemed put out. Then they said we would be the last delivery of the day. At 11am the doorbell rang while I was at work and I can see it because we have a security system that allows us to do that. They tried to deliver at 11am after we told them three times not till after 1pm. Seriously? Then we find out they only have two of the wrong pieces!!!!! We are done. The manager is apologetic, but that won't help this situation. They are letting us keep the couches till we find something somewhere else. This has been the worst experience with a company I have ever had, with no one trying to make it better in any sort of way. Beware when buy from them, no communication, no professionalism, and no hometown feel, which in this small town they are going to need. It could take longer than you imagine and they don't really care how they treat you. This was to be the first of a couple purchases so they really did kill off some good business. Sad. read more

got a full bed set from the cedar city boulevard home furnishing.. got good service,, i guess.. was looking for a bed set that would last some year down the road,,was told it has a great warranty of 10 years..figured pretty good on that...oh ya the set costs me a 1900.oo so it wasn't cheap set,,,1200.oo just for the mattress... anyway into the first month we noticed a hump in the center,, bad enough i couldn't lay by my wife without being rolled into my wife or clear back to where i normally lay..and also noticed that recover on my wife side would take well over 4 to 5 hours to recover to a some what normal state.. service and sale rep, were called on this,well then they said sorry but for us to come out there,,we live 90 miles from store,,they would have to charge us 290.00 to come check it for warranty.. well sorry but i don't have money running out of my pockets..retired here...so was told what i could do as a alternative.. take measurement,, well after a dozen measurement and set in.. they said the warranty DID NOT SHOW AT FAULT... had to have a dent drop of 1.5 inch.. on my side of the bed was 1.75 inch and my wife side showed over 2,25 inches..and thats from center,, called and talked with mattress rep. after i was told it would not be warrantied.. and he said the measurment were not up to his par,,needed to be done again,, take in mind that this is a year later.. and i was sick of sleeping in a dip or hole if you want to call it that...and the wife was too.. so basically i went and got a better quality.. better warranty.. and a lot better service rep. from a different store..so what my bitch out of this... for the company very poor warranty... very poor service rep,, for a company that sell over priced crap...oh ya i got my new mattress for half the cost of they're..wish i would of gone there first would of saved half the cost for the same thing..but then again i wouldn't of been helping to pay for that big new store...and no i won't go back there and wouldn't recommend it either...and thats to bad to i was going to do my living room and other bedroom too..now i know not... read more
