One of the springs on my garage door broke yesterday. A friend used garage door experts and I sent them a message on Yelp. This morning I called and Joshua answered immediately and knew who I am. He scheduled an appointment between 11 and 12 and called as promised before arriving and arrived at 11:45pm. He recommended that both the springs be replaced because the other could also break. One spring would be 180 to replace but 250 for both. He then examined the door and located one hinge developing a crack. Given the $10 for the part and reasonable labor, I asked him to replace it. Total was $282. He finished the job in less than 1hr including doing lube. He then made an observation that I had led lights in the opener and they are known to interfere with wireless in the garage door opener. I had a friend with me seeing all this and he is serious about hiring Joshua to install garage door in his house being partly rebuilt. Very prompt courteous and capable. read more

Our garage door broke a couple weeks ago and I had gotten a quote from one other repair company I found on Yelp. I called Joshua's company this morning and he was able to come by the same afternoon. We had examined the motor ourselves prior to calling any repair companies so we knew that the reason it broke was due to a gear snapping off. He took a look and immediately knew the issue and was able to explain why the gear broke off in the first place. He gave us our options and let us know the problem with the current opener could be fixed or we could upgrade to a motor that would more suit the weight of our door.
