I looked at other company reviews, got estimates, and selected them in the end due to their professionalism, efficiency, and to top it off they were the best bid. Josh gave an estimate on-line, answered questions and pointed out differences in quality of springs, warranty to really compare pricing. Joseph came same day to install the new springs and was very informative, friendly, pointed out some issues with my prior installation, and did some simple maintenance on the door as well. Another very happy customer!! Our spring in our garage door broke yesterday and we called Josh last night to set up an appointment for him to come fix it. He said he could even fit it in that night but the next morning was also available. He said he would arrive between 10 and 11 AM and would call first. Him and his apprentice, Johnny were right on time, showing up at 10 AM as promised. Their work was done quickly and correctly and for the exact price that he quoted, not adding on any additional charges for things that needed to be fixed. No unnecessary upsells, even though he fixed another minor issue he found when he inspected the entire door mechanisms completely. He also informed us of what to do to make everything last longer. He uses hi-cycle (?) springs that have a 10 year warranty. I would not hesitate for one minute to recommend this company! Job well done and it is so nice that our garage door now seems to be functioning even better than new. He will get all my business in the future, although, since Josh and Johnny did such a great job and uses quality parts, we most likely will not be needing to call him back any time soon!! This is my first yelp review (honestly). But, I have to say that this company was extremely responsive. I was in a bit of a panic because we couldn't close the garage door and it was a Friday. (Spring broke, but then when we opened manually, cable unwound and door was misaligned.) The company we usually use (Door Doctor) couldn't come out earlier than Monday. And given all the thefts, I didn't want to leave the door open for the entire weekend. I had heard of Garage Door Experts through some friends, called them and they were out at my place in less than 2 hours and had it fixed less than an hour after that.
