Great Service from Josh! Our 24 year old garage door opener decided it had had enough. The Internet said it might be a cable or spring but both looked good. Tried plugging and unplugging the unit but that didn't work either. Called Josh at 9:00 and he arrived by 10:00 or so. It took him two minutes to figure out the internal gears were gone. The repair costs versus replacement were close enough that I went with the latter. Josh carries replacement motors with him so when he said he could be done in about an hour, it was a no-brainier. Super efficient, no nonsense, and had everything working pronto. I wish all service transactions were this easy. Happy to support a Dublin small business and would recommend him to anyone. To my surprise, Joseph responded within 10 minutes letting me know what he thought the problem could be and his times of availability to check it out. I was given a quick rundown on the role these components played in controlling the garage door, and how losing one of them could affect its functionality and damage the longevity of other parts that made up the system. Joshua is a lifesaver! Our garage door spring broke late last night, and I thought that the motor might have been a goner as well. I called him earlier this morning; he was nice and friendly on the phone, gave me a quote and he answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. We set up a visit for this afternoon. He called me when he was about 25 mins away, and when he arrived, promptly got to work to change out the springs. It probably took him 40 minutes from when he arrived at our home and when he was finishing up the paperwork. He also gave some tips on how to care for the springs/door so it would not break down quicker. The motor ended up working fine, so we didn't need to have that replaced. Garage Door Experts just left my home and I could not be happier with the service. I called Garage Door Experts today at around 10:50am on a Thursday and explained an issue I was having where my garage door opener would occasionally open the door, but could never close it from the outside. The phone associate took quick note of the issue, assured me there was no charge for the diagnostic work of the house call, and set up a same-day appointment between 1-2pm. The company uses an automated updating system that will confirm your appointment, and notify you when your technician is on their way, and when the work is complete. This is a really nice touch, as I always appreciate knowing when the job will start and complete. Joseph, the technician, showed up well within the promised 1-2pm window and was courteous, professional, and understanding towards my remote-opener problem. He tested the remote and confirmed the issue was with an internal part of my opener, not the remote, and that replacing the part would be about half the price of a new baseline unit. Importantly, Joseph did not push the sale of a new unit, I made that choice. I appreciated that despite my choosing to go with a new unit Joseph still followed up with the company's distributors to see if a new part was available (it wasn't). Joseph completed the install of a new opener unit, wires, hooked up two remotes, and lubricated the door without my asking all in about an hour's time. Super impressive and courteous! Despite me using All Bay for a different garage door issue a short time ago, I had to search for a new garage door company as the spring to the door broke and it happened to break on the weekend. If it were the weekday, I would have gone back to All Bay. I found a few places that were open on the weekend and all their prices were competitive, but the one that was able to come out pretty quickly on the same day was Garage Door Experts. Granted, I could've waited until the weekday, but who wants to manually open and close a garage door all weekend? I spoke to Joshua for the estimate and he was able to come out that same day. Fortunately for me, his schedule was light and he said he would be over within the hour. Joshua come within the stated time and assesed what needed to be done. In addition to the broken spring, he recommended that a set of plates to be replaced. He showed me the plate and explained what it was for and why he suggested they be replaced. Joshua was very professional, cordial and did not try to upsell. The work was completed fairly quickly and he did some additional maintenance and I now have a working garage door. Fast, reliable, Super Friendly Service! Nothing like waking up on Saturday morning, trying to get the kids to sports to find that our garage door no longer opened. On the floor was a piece of the spring from the top of the garage. What to do? We checked out help and the "Garage Door Experts" came highly recommended so we called them.
