I was first attracted to them because they use a more environmentally friendly wet-cleaning process, but I've continued to go to them because every time I walk in, they smile like they are glad to see a familiar face and quickly assist me with whatever I have. My sweaters come back looking fresh and new, and they even got out oil stains on one of my favorite dresses. Most recently, I went in with my usual dry cleaning and brought in another task: some french-door curtains that I needed altered. I knew that wasn't usually their work, but the lady who works there quickly agreed to take on the task for me and did so for a VERY reasonable price. I'm sad that other people have given this place poor reviews; I really don't see how it is even possible. They have handled everything I've brought in with extreme care and have done so with a gracious smile.

They have never disappointed and the prices have always been fair. I've gotten alterations, dry cleaning, and a wedding dress preserved. They were always honest with expectations and clear if a stain might not come out. Recently I took my military uniforms there and they did an AMAZING job tapering the legs. For anyone that has had uniforms, they are all the same length and need to get hemmed which makes it tough for slimmer, shorter people. My pants were too wide at the base of the legs and it just didn't look good. They tapered the pants down so they fit better, looked more professional, and still within regulations. They also took some stains out of my summer whites! If you are military and in the area, I highly recommend getting your uniformed serviced here.

This isn't Payless cleaners it is Paymore cleaners. I got my graduation dress steamed here and…read morewhile the dress looks nice the service was unprofessional and I felt like I was being scammed. When I brought the dress in the owner looked at the dress, including through all the layers and even made a comment about how nice the dress was and how many layers there were, and told me it would cost $30. It was more than I expected for a single dress but I paid it and gave her the dress. When I went to pick the dress she said that they had to charge me an additional $10 because the dress had too many layers (and because they had to put it on a special hanger and use extra plastic to cover it -- none of which I asked for). When I told her that she already inspected the dress (which she most certainly did) and gave me the price $30 it is unfair to go back on that price and request additional money now that she had the dress in her possession. Every business has the right to charge however much they like, but if I had been told it would have cost $40 from the start I would have simply gone elsewhere. But if you agree to a sale price you have to honor that. They put me in a position where I had no choice but to pay the additional money because they were still in possession of my graduation dress and I needed it. And the owners demeanor was very rude and dismissive throughout this whole interaction.

I had dry cleaning, shoes to repair, and a bag that needed new zippers. The person at the desk promised to call me with estimates for my shoe repairs but never did. I thought it must be taking a while, but when I went to pick up my dry cleaning, he said they were done. I asked why he didn't call, and he said he did, but didn't leave a message because "no one listens to their voicemail." So I had no idea (and if any of you have Spectrum cell service, you know it's endless spam calls). The re-soling of my shoes was low-quality and the pieces were poorly cut. They were not aligned with the design of the shoes. Two zippers on the backpack were replaced, which cost a little over $200. It was very nicely done. I won't go here again and I'm bummed that it went this way.

There will be no apology or discount offered, either. Otherwise, they still do a really good job. I took a 'white' top in that is barely white and instead of wasting my money, he told me to 'buy a new one' (funny, this particular shirt was the replacement for another). I'm looking at it from the half-full mindset whereas he didn't try to take it in; knowing it wouldn't come out so well which I appreciated. I knew I'd just spend that money on another top being cleaned anyway. Overall, if you can give yourself time to have it done here, I have yet to be disappointed with the results.
