I knew from the first time we spoke via telephone that she really is a very kind, thoughtful and compassionate lady. I was planing on moving in on June 1st, but due to a tragic house fire, that date got moved up to May 17th. I have never been to Clovis nor did I know anyone here. Cheyanne and Levi made my move in so smooth. I drove up here with a Uhaul trailer hitched to my truck, I have no experience on how to back one up. Cheyanne took it upon herself to park the trailer for me to unload, then she parked it over night for me and the next day she moved it again so I could go return the trailer. Levi helped me move all my stuff in and he also got me the most amazing chocolate shake! I've been here 5 days now and I have met so many of my neighbors. Everyone seems really nice and friendly. I absolutely love my loft and this whole area is safe. I am very grateful to Cheyanne for all her hard work in making me feel welcomed. I highly recommend Woodbridge Apartments.

Before Chambers Property Management, I honestly felt like I was on my own. I technically had a…read moreproperty manager, but actually getting help was another story. Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I don't feel stuck or unsure every time something small comes up, and that peace of mind alone is worth a lot. Thank you Chambers Property Management!

I live in the bay but own a property in Fresno. My experience with my previous property manager…read morewas a nightmare. Instead of managing and stabilizing my building, I lost money every month and my stress level was out of control. My priors manager's communication was terrible and to make things worse they were also unapologetic and unprofessional. I think the latter may have actually pissed me off more. After my frustrating experience, I spent a lot of time researching for a better property manager. After interviewing Kendra, I decided to switch to Chambers, and the difference has been unimaginable. Kendra and her team have been nothing short of amazing. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely make me feel valued as a client. Kendra's communication is excellent, she's quick to respond and always keeps me informed. The level of service she provides has given me peace of mind, something I desperately needed. I also appreciate having Chambers PM, specifically Kendra, to serve as a resource. My other properties are in Oakland and Walnut Creek, which is currently out of their service area, so I self-manage those rentals. And any time I have question about landlording or just need a second set of eyes on a tenant application, Kendra is willing to offer her expert advice, even though those properties aren't being managed by Chambers (yet! when/if they come to the Bay, those properties will be managed by Chambers.) My tenants are also much happier now. Kendra doesn't waste any time finding reliable tenants to fill vacancies whenever I may have one and her attention to detail has made property ownership stress-free. I feel very comfortable reaching out to her whenever any issues arise because I know she'll handle them promptly and effectively. The Chambers' team are a wonderful group who are truly engaged with their clients. Kendra's informative, has great communication skills, and goes above and beyond for her customers. She actually cares about her tenants and always answers the phone or calls back right away. If I could give more stars, I would! I highly recommend Kendra and her team to any homeowner looking for a reliable and trustworthy property manager. They have exceeded all my expectations and made a world of difference in managing my property.

The complex is pretty, but there is a water bug issue on the grounds. When I first did my…read morewalkthrough there were bugs all throughout the apartment and they apologized for not cleaning it before but that should have been my sign to leave day 1. However the lease was already signed and they insisted this wasn't an issue but that the apartment had been sitting. They have pest control but I've lived here three months and have called pest control three times and the issue still exists. You even see the water bugs dead outside your front door often. Waking up to use the restroom in the middle of the night to see big bugs on your floor or in your cabinets is not comfortable. No matter what I do, these bugs are showing up everyday. You also have to pay for pest control now. If you don't care about bugs you'll be fine. The appliances in the kitchen are old for these being luxury apartments. The gym is old and lacks equipment. Maintenance is very fast and office always answers calls. For the people saying the office people are never here, it's because they are at the sister property across the street but you can always go there or call. The units are also spacious and garages are a good size.

I only lived there for 13 months, and it wasn't long enough to do any considerable damage to the apartment. Be careful when you move in and nitpick at everything that could possibly be wrong. Because after you have signed your walk through statement, they will go back into the apartment and charge you for every little thing that they find fault with.... whether it was your doing or not. In other words, you will not get your deposit back and you will have to owe them money. You would be better off renting a home.

It seems as though the property isn't being maintained. There is trash everywhere for extended periods of time leading to unpleasant smells and flies everywhere. The vehicle gates are obnoxiously loud upon entering and exiting. The main gate is a safety concern as it now slams shut and is heavy. It is very hard to get into contact with the new manager. I constantly go to the office during business hours however she is rarely there. On many occasions she is outside taking pictures of constantvehicles as well as parking them in no parking zones. Rent is not cheap here and for it to look like this is unfortunate.

I understand it costs money to have nice things! But my rent will be $995 for a 1x1 as if 2/1/16. That's rather steep for NW Fresno in a declining area. I used to pay $820 just two years ago and that was fair. Even $900 is fair. But not $995. People are socked when I tell them my rent. I nearly cry each time the price leaves my mouth. I blame the inflation on the property's management company called Royal T Management. They're terrible, but that's a different review. If you're familiar with Fresno, I'm probably headed Dominion Heights at Champlain and Perrin. $990 for a 1x1 in NE Fresno. They're updated, similarly sized, and same amenities. I rather get gouged for the $990 there than here. Lol. 2 star for price and 4 stars for the complex. For a overall score of 3 stars. Anyways, that's my review. Hope it helps!

The communication from the leasing office at Northbrook is pretty much nonexistent. You can call,…read moreyou can text, you can email, you can message from the portal and even show up and the office if you're lucky that someone is there, and little to nothing. That's where I can start off at. I was going to write a huge review on the status of our unit upon move in, but I'd rather provide photos and let them speak for themselves. The unit was filthy. There's an ant, spider and worst of all stray cat problem here. The first week of move in, we had stray cats spray on our patio and patio door, which had the whole unit smell like cat urine until we found the source and spent hours scrubbing it. The cats still visit the patio each night and continue to sleep and urinate around the unit each day. We reached out to maintenance about some of the issues with the unit that we were unable to clean on our own. One of them being the mold and mildew they painted over on the restroom ceiling leaving massive bumps poking out of the ceiling. Once the maintenance individual showed up he said "yeah they always paint over everything like that". And proceeded to spray paint over it some more. I asked about the vents that had massive amounts of dirt and dust that were painted over as well, he said "oh you can just unscrew those and they come off." And of course left those as is also. Other than finding a bullet in one of the parking lots on the first night moving in, the parking isn't bad. You're provided a stall even if it's across the property, but there's also empty stalls and the street to park on that's close by. Theres some type of prepaid system that the laundry facilities use on the property but we don't know too much about that because it wasn't explained to us by management. There's also mailboxes nearby somewhere but we don't know much about that either because management neglected to show us where they're at as well as failed to give us a mailbox key. So far, the complex has been pretty quiet besides the homeless that ride their bikes all throughout during the day and night and a few loud couples arguing here and there. Also, we have to be very mindful of the added fees they slap on top of the rent. Some things we never signed up for and had to find the corporate number to try and figure out what they were. I have so many praises for an employee from a sister property that was so responsive and so helpful. Unfortunately that's another property and not this one. This has only been month one so updates will be provided as they come.

We needed a place to live while our home was being built. We signed a six month lease. The unit we…read morerented had been leased to a corporate account. We came to learn the complex rents out numerous apartments as 'corporate' leases. Think Airbnb for apartments. The apartment we leased was dirty when we arrived. We leased it sight unseen due to living out of town. We took it on faith the apartment would be clean. It wasn't. The kitchen sink had numerous deep chunks across the surface. We asked if they could repair it but was told the sink could not be used for 48 hours if we chose to have it fixed. How come they rented us a dirty apartment in disrepair? We documented the condition. The apartment upstairs was one of the Airbnb type rentals. Fresno police visited that apartment at least two times. Police visited two other apartments in our block of apartments over the six months we lived there. If you choose to live there on 4th of July get out of town for the night. The manager Kelly should have been on the premises that night to temper the fireworks chaos that lasted past 2:00 am. The complex claims to have a security service but we never saw it. The parking lot is gated but the gates are open all day. They are closed at night, thankfully. Maintenance when called was quick and Sam the maintenance supervisor is top notch. He is polite and very good at his job. One other good thing about the Shires 'Luxury' Apartments is the low deposit. You won't see it though. They charge $230 for carpet cleaning and another $200.+ for cleaning. Tenants cannot opt out of that. We left the place cleaner than we found it, by far, but were charged anyway. They also claimed it needed paint which it didn't. We received $140 back from our $700 deposit. The problem with the corporate Airbnb type setup is the noise by transient tenancy. Car doors slamming at 2 am, screaming couples at 4:00 am. It was horrible. Short term rental in an apartment environment is irresponsible corporate policy. Overnight and weekly guests have no investment in the complex so permanent residents can't evade the feeling they are living in a noisy resort. I gave The Shires two stars generously but the outstanding work by the Sammy the maintenance guy deserved some recognition. The 3 bedroom unit we were paying $2,300 per month for is listed for rent for rent up to $2,800. You should expect much more for that price.
