I was working 60 hour weeks serving individuals recovering from trauma and substance abuse and I was burnt out. Solid State is allowing me to finish up my van before taking a two month trip. The smash room was a total hit, and the kids laughed and raged for a solid 35 minutes before throwing some axes. (Then Luke brought in some more crates for us parents to have our own smash party. AMAZING.) Luke and Tina, the owners, are so chill, happy, obviously love what they do and you can tell they just want everyone to walk out of there having a wonderful experience. We never felt rushed. The main room is clean, bright and airy, with arcade games that we could play while taking breaks. They let us bring in pizza, drinks and cake to celebrate. Great energy, great venue. I can't wait to go back with my girlfriends or even just my two teen boys and my husband for a family night. It was so easy going, so fun.
