Stumbled across this little gem in Faubourg-Montmartre on our last evening in Paris. Uzbek cuisine - neither of us had ever encountered it before! It was too enticing to pass up.
We split the Formule decouverte, 27€ for samples of three entrees, four mains and three desserts. I can't say that I remember every dish, but I do remember being thrilled by every new flavor and texture. There were two samsas, a meat and a veg, the salade tamerlan was incredible, liked the plov, the hanoum was very baklava-like, with chak-chak as well. Sufficient portions for two to share, with great color and nice contrasts in flavors.
The restaurant is tiny, maybe 20 seats max, with a nice atmosphere. The night we were in they were nearly full at ~9pm. Attentive service. Give em a try! read more
