David in the office told me what to expect when I booked and answered all my questions: it all went exactly as he said it would. I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money. Matt and Gary took care of my move, and they were rockstars! They moved stuff out of my house and into a storage, and helped condense two storage units into one. The last part of this process involves Jamal and Joseph taking care of my "haul-away" items. Now, this company is a joke since their 'name change.' We confirmed our movers and day of move we started out rocky. They couldn't find my apartment building and when their dispatch conference called myself, dispatch, and the driver as I patched in I heard the driver say 'tell him to get his ass outside,' I was already standing outside for an hour waiting for them. I drove around the complex, found them, and escorted them to the right building. We scheduled 3 movers for 2 hours ($430) as stated on their website, we had everything boxed, labeled and ready. All they needed to do was shrink wrap which we selected when booking them. They took the whole 2 hours to load a 2 bedroom apartment. Then, just a tad over an hour they finally showed up at our new home (it's only 16 miles, 30 minutes tops), before unloading they required we pay. Somehow now my rate has more than doubled and they want $1,001.25! Before leaving our apartment a driver made a comment about grabbing lunch on the way up to our house which apparently we paid for their lunch break. They're an absolute SCAM. Their pricing online is deceptive pricing, they will milk the clock and then gouge you before unloading. They're a disgusting company because of the scam they are running. We're a week past our move date and as we've been unpacking, we are finding damages. Our washer drain hose (that was supposed to be protected since we paid for protection) had an abrasion resulting in a steady leak in our laundry room, our guest room headboard has a corner damage and a mark on the wall from where they clearly colided.
