I like her and she's good. But I won't be back. I've been going for years but everytime she treats me like it's the first time she's seen me. Sometimes she has her daughter and another younger girl. Sometimes she's by herself. They're always running late. But especially when she's by herself. I always make appointments. First I thought if I make the first appointment of the day it wouldn't be such a long wait. Wrong. She's helping like friends or something before opening hours. Then I thought if I make the last appointment of the day - nope. There wasn't even a move to get me to the shampoo in over half an hour. She was working on multiple people with another waiting that came in after me and she told me she closes at 6. So at 5:30 after sitting there for 40 minutes for my 5:00 appointment, I left. I have 2 young children at home and can't be gone for 3 hours to do my hair. If she doesn't have time, she shouldn't make the appointment. Anyone else have a recommendation for a haircut nearby? I dropped in on Sunday afternoon for a blowout. It was busy & there was about a half hour wait. The place itself has a trendy vibe with cute decor. There's a complimentary coffee setup on the side for anyone craving that morning cup. My hair wash was status quo, quick & efficient, My blowout was great- my stylist asked what I wanted and she delivered. A blowout is $25 (it's a few dollars more if you pay by card). Georgia is EXCELLENT! She got my color right and did a fantastic cut. The price is literally unbeatable. Total, my cut and color came to $105. Cut was 20, styling was 25, color was 60! Pro tip: bring cash because then you can avoid paying tax! The shampoo was great and so was the extra bonus head massage :) Loved the whole experience, and definitely will be going back. read more

Stay away! The old lady who works there is very nice and polite. However, the day I had the reservation for hightlights (takes few hours) she booked minimum 5 other people at the same time. She was so stressed out and pulling my hair while working. Long story short, she left the bleach too long on my hair and burned the half of it. My hair is not blond, it's gray and it's falling apart under my fingers as I touch it. I have long hair ( waist length). Now it's half od what I had. I am only happy I kept some on my head so I look decent when I go to work. I paid $200 for someone to destroy the hair I was growing for years. :( read more

This review is for my 16 yr old brother. He got his hair cut here and the lady did a horrible job. He asked her to not touch the top and just take a LITTLE off the edges. Basically a trim which should be easy for any hairdresser. What she did was cut some off the top and a lottttt from the sides. So now he has this ridiculous mushroom cut. Felt a little racist tbh. It was a stereotypical hispanic hair cut that she went for. Not all all what he asked for. He's been growing his hair for months and now she has ruined it. He starts school in a few days. He is getting his fair fixed somewhere better today. Idk how they cut ladies hair but guys stay away. Also the part that annoyed me the most is that she had the nerve to tell to "get more even hair" AFTER she cut his hair. Like what?! This place is trash. read more

I went in with a terrible dye job that I did to myself. I told and showed Georgia exactly what I wanted. She took her time looking at my hair and bluntly told me that she would not dye my hair blonde in the condition that it was in. Her fear was that my hair would break off and that I would lose the curl pattern in my hair. Instead she suggested to tone down the color I had in my hair (It was the color of a penny) and come back to her in four weeks. My hair is now an amazing color and I cannot wait to see her next month! I really appreciated her honesty and not wanting to make a quick buck off the strength of my hair. read more

This salon offers high caliber service! Today marks my third visit: the first two were for a wash, deep conditioning treatment and blow dry, and the third included a trim. It's the best trim that I've ever gotten! All of the split ends are gone, and my hair is layered to perfection! Thank you, Chris! I typically get a haircut once or twice a year by walking into a random salon whenever I feel like the time is right. Today I chose Boudoir, and I am so happy I did! The staff greeted me warmly, and within seconds of walking in, I was getting my hair washed. Olga was my hairdresser, and she worked magic with her cut and style job. I have never truly loved a haircut before, and I LOVE my haircut. I will happily return to her for my next cut, or a wedding blowout. I found this off of Yelp. I am so happy I found this place. The atmosphere inside is inviting, relaxing, zen, with attention to detail, yet prices are still affordable. Olga shampooed my hair including a relaxing massage. I have curly/wavy hair, she cut it in layers to release the volume but kept it long. She asked if I would like it blow dried and suggested something light to see what the cut would look like every day since I told her I usually air dry it on my way to work. We decided to use a diffuser to get as close to the natural curl as possible. It turned out great and I am super happy with the result. Overall I had an amazing experience - excellent result, very friendly staff, and left more relaxed than when I came in, which is how it should be! After having my hair botched(uneven cut and completely burnt my hair with what was supposed to be an ombre) by another salon in ditmars, I took my chances with this gem under the train. Okay so I trusted this woman GEORGIA would do my hair the way I wanted. I asked for OMBRE she gave me HIGHLIGHTS. I was really bothered because not only did she leave the color on too long in the back that it broke off ny hair and instead of being blonde it was almost grey, but i felt like I was being annoying to her because i did not understand why she just couldnt color the entire bottom of my hair. So after visiting a few times and her saying she will fix it, i said forget it, let me get my money back so I can have someone fix it but they do not give refunds. FINE. Now i go there today and tell her what i wanted to do to my hair. I showed her a picture of a light brown it came out DARK BROWN almost same color as my black hair. I am not pissed, because I figured she wouldnt try to help make it what I wanted because everyone could see how unhappy even her clients so I guess i made her feel bad, idk. So instead of fixing it with a honey like brown, she threw in a dark brown and sent me on my way. I would not recommend going here. If she had colored my hair the way i wanted the first time i wouldnt of had to come back and for her to tell me my hair IS ombre like im stupid was insulting. I absolutely love this hair spot and it will definitely be my go to from now on. I've been wanting to go short for the longest time since I've pretty much had long hair my entire life so this was a pretty big change for me. I was recommended by my best friend who gets her hair cut here religiously and they always do a good job with her short look. When I first went in it was pretty nerve racking but the woman who cut my hair (I can't remember her name!!!) was very sweet and she told me to relax and that it was a big change, that I would absolutely love it. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted and I honestly couldn't be more happy with the results of cutting my hair short for the first time ever! She was very exact and took her time. They're also very affordable, charging me $45 for wash, cut and blow dry compared to other places who wanted to charge $50 and up. Please check them out! I have mixed feelings about this place. My hair is pretty easy to cut as it's pin straight, and I don't have a lot of it, so I'm ok with their haircuts, however, their dye jobs leave much to be desired. This is the second time I went for a single process color and the second time it's come out not the color I wanted and like a patchwork quilt. The first time a couple of years ago it's like they missed the entire bottom half of my head. I know it's covered by the hair on top but it was quite visible when my hair was in a ponytail. This time around I had a ring on the right side's scalp that was a completely different color than the left and the rest of the hair. The left was slightly darker and the rest (not scalp area) was a third color. I tried to go back several times to get it fixed but was told they either didn't have time that particular day or just never replied (not very good customer service). And they never followed up with my last request. :-/ I'm no professional but I've gotten hair dye from Whole Foods in the past and even applying it myself, unprofessionally, it's still come out with the desired effect. But you, during these difficult times you want to support local businesses. It's a shame I picked the wrong one to support. read more

Walked in for a shoulder length hair cut and left with a bob gone wrong. To make matters worse the girl running the register was insensitive in trying to talk around what I was saying. They basically expressed that there is nothing they can do. Which I agree with but never offered a discount. I'm truly puzzled as to how I ended up with this cut when I specifically said shoulder length and used her hair as an example! Best cut, blow out and highlights I have ever had. I love this place. It is not cheap but not expensive either and you totally get more than what you pay for. I have had a very bad experience with Budoir Salon. First of all the owners daughter is not a pleasant person, and she seems like she doesn't want to be there. No social skills what so ever. The first time I went there she did a lousy job with my hair color. The same day, I went back, and she somehow fixed l, but still not satisfied. Olga cut my hair, and I was quite happy with her. I decided to make an appointment for my daughter to get a haircut, and for me to get a blowout. I made the appointment a week in advance. During the week, I called to make it a half hour later. When I got there for my appointment, they had no record of me calling, meanwhile I had called twice and spoke to the owner, and the second time her daughter. They did not apoligize, so I decided to leave. Its safe to say, i will never go back. An unprofessional salon, don't waste your money there!!!! read more
