They support local authors and even from time to time musicians. I have performed here a couple of times and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Their great event room is a multi-purpose section of the store with a seating capacity of maybe 45-50, give or take. Keep your eyes open for events here! They have several rooms inside with varying items on display. There is a room that is filled from with books on all kinds of subjects. There are books about healing crystals, candles, witchcraft, the chakras, and a variety of other subjects. They have some beautiful pieces in here too. There are many different stones and crystals of all different sizes and types. There is a section with all kinds of candles and candle holders and books on candles. There is a section with sage and a selection of different incense. There are dreamcatchers and rings and purses and pendants. This store has a beautiful collection that has a little bit of everything. You can wonder around the rooms for hours and continue to spot new things. They have a cafe with Starbuck's coffee and free Wi-Fi. I grabbed a quick ice tea which was nicely made, and tasted like... iced tea instead of some esoteric designer flavor. I'm happy to have this Barnes & Noble close by.

All books are from 2015 or later, no paradise for resellers looking for antiques, plus for used they're already marked up compared to other places I have been including library sales. The benefit is the wide selection. They also have DVDs and other media. Went to check this out as it is the largest used bookstore in the state but am unlikely to return due to the distance from home. If I lived in the area I would go back. My go to for books is the library but I was buying for two other people, one who lacks transportation and one who has mobility issues. They also buy books.

This is the perfect place to host a book signing or an open mic and intimate in the best way....cozy, but not crowded. They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store.
