Communication poor hired them to do demolition of my home I was slow after my fire to commit but once I did it appears many other jobs ie frozen pipe cleanup too priority they hired a demo guy Chris met with them then nothing was heard for weeks I finally got a message telling me how busy they are. Did meet the demo guy Chris sorry don't remember company but my son got involved and instead of calling me about my son they let it go for to long and told me that Chris no longer wanted the job because of my son. Today 3/17 I talked with Andrew the project manager who told me Chris told him he no longer wanted the job on Friday 3/14 but no one called me I had to find out by calling them. When I asked who else could do demo and that my road is not posted for heavy loads and not sure who told who what and someone is not being truthful they said well I guess you should find someone else read more

Quick service, excellent work. Had water coming into basement. It was up to two inches in whole basement. Called Bouchard Cleaning and Restoration. They came quickly, throughly remediated water in basement. Put fans and heaters to help dry out leftover water. Josh was great at keeping me informed of the whole process, and was great at follow up. Because they acted so quickly there was no mold or damage to the basement. Walls and baseboards saved! Highly recommend them. read more

We had Bouchard do the cleanup on some frozen pipe water damage on our family camp. The cleanup team responded quickly and took care of the immediate problem. We also used them to restore the damage done to our camp with their PM Jim Curran. The week they were supposed to start, Jim was going on vacation-which should've been a red flag....why not delay the start until his return? The work that was done on our family camp was ATROCIOUS! The contractors hired did a horrible job on flooring, drywall, painting, and plumbing. Not sure where Jim was for oversight, but either he wasn't watching, doesn't know what to look for, or his eye for workmanship was as bad as the crew's that did the work. I did my best to help my parents through this by going up toward the end of construction and tediously making a punch-list and marking the areas with post-it notes. NONE of the punch-list items were addressed. The hard wood floor we had installed was done totally incorrectly, such that a novice PM would've addressed. The floor is buckled, wavy, and creaks...a lot! I have put in hard wood floors that see much more use, I'm not a professional, but they look and feel much better. It would be one thing to understand if the house was 100 years old, but its barely 20, and was well built the first time. Then there is the drywall/framing. Walls are bowed, drywall corner beads have wrinkles in them, power outlets aren't flush with the wall, wall paint runs on to the ceiling, hardware isn't installed correctly, shower curtain rod is not properly fastened, then damage to said hardwood floor and the existing floor. Very easy fixes if noticed early, but Jim was probably on vacation. In addition to all of this, my mother bought new furniture and coordinated the delivery timing with Jim to prevent it from being in the way of work. That didn't work out with Jim's schedule that he provided and thousands of dollars of furniture had to be moved in and out of a conex box, which caused some scars and damage. Then the people who installed the floor crashed into our deck and ruined that. It's fixed, but it looks like garbage. On top of all of this, with Jim's schedule, we lost an entire year and change of use of the camp. I remember my mom's disappointment and tears about this. My parents gave up trying to chase Jim and his mistakes down, and apparently it wasn't important enough for any of the owners or management to step in and correct. It's a shame to take away from the water damage responsiveness and quality, but the reconstruction is so bad that it cancels that out. I would never recommend Bouchard to do construction, and one star is generous for what kind of a "finished" product they produced. Now my time going to the camp is not so much vacation, but fixing the problems they caused. read more

Not at all impressed with this company. I was referred to them by my homeowner's insurance claims adjuster after I had water damage in my home almost 3 weeks ago. Their communication has been downright terrible to nonexistent. Each time they were at my home, they left without telling me that they were leaving (despite me being home), necessitating a call to their office to find out when they would be coming back. They repeatedly failed to provide either verbal or written updates as to when they would be coming back or what the next steps would be as far as the work they would be performing. I was kept in the dark throughout the entire process. Even when I tried to talk to the guys who were here working, I would only get very abrupt 1-2-word responses. They came and collected their drying equipment 10 days ago. At that time, I asked them if they would be doing any further work/cleanup and they said that Josh (the project manager) would be in touch with me within the next day or two with an update. I never heard from Josh or anyone at Bouchard ever again. I don't even have any paperwork from them! They are now holding up my entire insurance claim because my claims adjuster has not received their mitigation report, despite the fact that it has been nearly 2 weeks since they allegedly completed their portion of the work on my home. My adjuster has reached out to them several times without a return call or production of a mitigation report so that they can finalize my claim so that I can have my contractor start putting my home back together. It has now gotten to the point where my adjuster has asked me if I can get in touch with them for this report because she has tried multiple times to no avail. This is simply unprofessional and beyond unacceptable. No homeowner should be left hanging like this. I have been living in a demolition zone for nearly 3 weeks now and my insurance company cannot compensate me for the items that were damaged in my home as well as the drywall, ceiling, and flooring that need to be replaced until they receive the report from Bouchard. I am sick of looking at giant holes in my walls and ceilings and damaged hardwood flooring. There is absolutely NO excuse for it taking even remotely this long. Lastly, their workers left cigarette butts in my driveway and also left behind two large trash bags filled with debris in the entryway of my home. I will never use this company again and I would strongly advise avoiding them at all costs! read more

Be careful if you use this company. They will quote you one price and number of cleaners and then send more cleaners because the did not have other work for them that day. Cleaners showed up late, seemed annoyed they had to work and did a poor job cleaning. They even did not clean the floors (of an empty house) because they "forgot". When talking to management all I got was excused that its hard to find good employees. For $40 an hour per housekeeper I expect better. Bottom line is the cost was more than quoted and the cleaning was awful. read more

We hired Bouchard Cleaning to eliminate mold in a commercial building. At the initial consultation, their representative seemed very professional. They performed a very expensive mold spore count test (at our expense) and advised us that yes, mold was present. Then they advised us to remove parts of the walls and floor coverings that were supposedly affected by mold. We followed every advice we were given by them. We paid a contractor over $2000 to do the work. Then Bouchard cleaning came in and sprayed their chemicals that were supposed to eliminate the mold. After the wait for chemicals to dry - they did another very expensive mold spore count test - and the spore count was even higher! After the work they've done. There was now MORE mold in the building then before they started. We have tried to speak with Bouchard Cleaning about it, to see if they would re-do their treatment, but they were "booked solid" for next 2 weeks and we were on deadline for a commercial tenant (which they knew all along). So we went online and researched how to deal with mold - bought commercial sprayers, solutions, hazmat suits and did the treatment ourselves. It took us 2 times spraying, but finally the mold was gone and the tenant was able to move in. Bouchard cleaning now wants $1800 for their failed attempts to deal with the mold problem. As they only made the problem worse - we are at a loss to understand why we should pay that bill. read more
