Welcome the new beer, cider/seltzer and wine store, near the corner of Ainsworth and Greeley. The mile radius really needed this gem! Evan and Team are very friendly and helpful choosing your beverage(s). Update: they have 3+ food options. Tacos, BBq, New Pizza. and we suspect a burger option soon. -its always a mellow spot, gets a little busy on the weekend nights but overall plenty of seats to chill at and great beer selection on tap and you can go in the store to grab something as well. they also have Movie nights so check out their social media page and host some sport games as well. cheers and beers!

Fun times out back! Check social media for days and times

I'm SO excited that this place opened up in my neighborhood! Before, we had two Plaid Pantries and a 7-11 in walking distance. These options are fine if you want something basic. If you would rather have more exciting options, please go to Bottles and Cans. This place carries hard seltzer, hard cider, beer, and wine. All the cans and bottles are served as single units, not in 6 packs. This is great if you are like me and are horrible about making decisions. The owners are super nice and are willing to make recommendations and look into ordering things into the shop they don't carry. There are exciting future plans for a patio out back with food carts. I can not wait for this!

As a big fan of Crux brews I was stoked to see this PDX location open a couple of years back, and…read morehappy to see the creativity, vibe and level of service is still spot on. This isn't one of the fancier brewpubs in Portland (looking at you 10 Barrel and Deschutes) but that's never been the Crux brand so I'm happy to see them stick to their down to the earth origins and focus on making really good beer. The bar is nice and long and a good place to post up for a couple of pints, with plenty of cheery tenders to pour them for you. The space is overall industrial-feeling with tall ceilings and minimalist decor and mostly bare walls inside, but there's also an outside patio area with picnic tables in the parking lot, though that's best in the summer. We got the General Tso Cauliflower to start which was a great share plate, with awesome flavor in the sauce, though the actual cauliflower was a bit undercooked. Still, we polished it off no problem. Fish tacos were also a good call, and the thin, crispy fries were a crowd favorite. There are so many good sours, IPAs and other craft beer options here, my buddy just opted for the 4-brew flight (mostly IPAs) which we all sampled and loved, though it's kinda pricy for what's basically 20 ounces of beer. The one-off vintage 14% special beers are where it's at, but at that ABV level, we just decided to share one barrel aged Imperial Stout. So friggin caramelly and delish - the perfect dessert. The space was pretty quiet for a Saturday night but our service was absolutely next level, so it made for a super pleasant gathering for our small group. The food at this Crux location is probably best described as better-than-average pub fare, but not mouth-watering, and the ambiance is low key but also nothing super special. The beer and the staff though, are awesome, so I will be back for more.

Awesome beers. Good location with lots of parking. Like the outdoor seating…read more Food was decent. Great spot for groups.

We really enjoy this restaurant in the Pearl District. We regularly stop in after a morning visit…read moreto Powell's. They are a brewery pub and have the fare that matches. Their tap list is extensive but also includes non-standard options. We love to see non-alcoholic beers as well as gluten free beer, cider, cocktails, and other libations. The food menu is great too. There are several items that either come gluten free or can be modified to be. The servers are knowledgeable about the ingredients of the menu items and I feel confident and safe eating here when gluten free is a need for me. They can get pretty crowded, but have several seating options. It was nice out today so outdoor seating was even possible, though it looked like there was a wait. There are tvs in several spots that showcase local sports when possible. There is a kids area and you can sit close while the kids play. Everyone we come in contact with here from servers to hosts are super friendly and welcoming. The food is pretty good. This time around, we shared the garlic Parmesan fries and the chicken wings (buffalo and honey gojuchang sauces). The wings were smoked and moist with good flavor. The fries were alright. More of the aioli would have helped so maybe request extra sauce or get some on the side. The dessert menu has some non-traditional offerings. The highlight for me was the cheesecake. I was assured by a server one time that the chef creates a gluten free cheesecake that rotates on the seasonal dessert menu. The current offering is tiramisu. The coffee chocolate sauce is good and I appreciated the bonus chocolate chip biscotti. The actual cheesecake is decent and I would be excited to try other flavors in the future.

Great spot to unwind and have a beer in the Pearl District. I've admired this brewery from afar and…read moreI've enjoyed their beers. It was great being able to enjoy them fresh off the tap.
