Everyone who came in seemed to know the servers by name, exchanging hugs and "how have you beens". It was our first time, but we were still treated warmly. It is the same gluten free pizza crust for the flat bread and for dipping in the cheese. But having AN option is great. Our wine tasting was also lovely. I enjoyed the range of the tasting and saw several appealing varietals on the menu that I would definitely come back for. Overall, a great experience. There is indoor and outdoor seating. **Hidden Gem Alert **…read more Right on NE Fremont, tucked in between a liquor store and vegan restaurant here is this wonderful wine bar with plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. We really enjoyed our visit here as we enjoyed the welcoming staff and some thought out wine tasting choices. We started with a tasting of 6 wines, oh these are not little tiny samples like other places, these are "mega pints" if you will, big enough to share or not.. after, we chose 2 full pours to sit outside and chill. We also had a puréed roasted beet with yogurt and bread, that was really good. Pro Tip: If possible, don't sit by the back door of the vegan restaurant, they have back door open and play loud music that killed our buzz as Landmass has their own outdoor music that was more to our liking. Can't wait to return, thank you Landmass wines Salud !

I have been wanting to visit their winery which is located in the Columbia Gorge, but its a far trip for me so when I heard that they opened their tasting room in Portland downtown, I was so excited! Today I finally got to visit their beautiful and cozy tasting room located on Fremont st. in Portland. They have their winery-exclusive bottles as well as distribution wines, and a very reasonable tasting menu, with 4 Bubbles for $25 and mix of 6 varietals for $35, which is a must try if you're new to their wines. The service was top notch and the staff were so knowledgeable and could tell you everything from where the grapes are grown and how they're aged. I absolutely loved their 2023 Sparkling Chenin Blanc, which is made Prosecco style, mildly dry with great balance of bubbles. They also have Gamay Noir, which I highly recommend if you're into easy, light reds. Chardonnay is also so special, slightly tart and puckery, aged in both Stainless Steel and French Oak! I can go on and on... They have a Wine Club membership as well. Most wines are $30-$42 (some are $20s and even $84), moderately priced with excellent quality, highly worth it. Their famous Tempranillo Rosé and Heavy Glow which is a sparkling rosé at Whole Foods and they're some of their most popular bottles. I can't wait to come back.

Our party of four spent the day with A Great Oregon Wine Tour, and it set a new standard. Wayne,…read morethe owner, built our itinerary around a specific request. I wanted at least one winery pouring Sauvignon Blanc in a valley dominated by Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. He found Balsall Creek, then rounded out the day with Ridgecrest and Compris. All three were off the beaten path. No crowded tasting rooms, no tour bus circuit. Just remarkable wines and winemakers with stories to tell. Our guide Robert is a master sommelier, and it showed all day. My wife and I have tasted extensively in the Russian River Valley and Bourgogne, and Robert drew sharp comparisons between all three regions. He walked us through the Willamette's geologic history, from the Missoula Floods to the volcanic and marine sedimentary soils that define its AVAs, and connected it all to what was in our glasses. It was a full day of wine education disguised as a tasting tour. The picnic lunches, made by Wayne and his wife, were a highlight of their own. The turkey sandwich with apple and cucumber drew raves from the table. My vegan lettuce wrap was every bit as good. These were not afterthought box lunches. Our group of four had a roomy van to ourselves, which kept the whole day comfortable and unhurried. If you want a Willamette Valley experience beyond the usual stops, book with Wayne and ask for Robert.

Was ready to buy dinner and at least one bottle of wine. but not today. Jared I was told was the waitstaff assigned to our table I never got to meet him. I've been to the other location totally good experience but although it's a nice building here it's uncanny how much you can be invisible at a restaurant. This is the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant anywhere. Speaking as a decade Yelper I don't like this type of review. But it's clear they need to work on customer service. At the time of this review we have been at the table 50 minutes with no table service response whatsoever. Staff walks past us. By contrast at the bar two staff members were helpful and pleasant and they were a sharp contrast to the other staff members we had seen. There was also a nice gentleman in a purple shirt that spoke to me when I had gone to get a menu, he appeared to be hosting but wasn't available when we arrived. I do not recommend this Willamette valley vineyards location *update, Jared did show up to the table 1 1/2 hours after we arrived. Maybe he was busy, but sadly he walked past us more than 7 times ( I stopped counting). He offered to bring me more water, I declined. He asked if we wanted anything but since we are leaving in ten minutes there's no point. Disappointed at least I'm confident that Jared was assigned to our table. Maybe he was having an off day. Question ‍ would you try this place again if you had my experience?
