Wow! This company and the people they employ are just simply extraordinary! On a whim, I rented a…read more20 person limo bus for a wine tour in Dayton this April. Sarah assisted me with the limo reservation as well as the winery reservations. She put in so much time and effort to make the day special for us! She was just amazing. Kawika was our driver and boy did he have a challenging bunch of rowdies to deal with! He was so incredibly nice, accommodating, punctual, thoughtful, helpful, FUN, patient...the list goes on and on. There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe how awesome Sarah and Kawika are. Thank you to Aspen, Sarah and Kawika for a PERFECT day enjoying the beautiful Oregon wine country!

We chose an awesome 26 person party limo that was to include all the bells and whistles (Bluetooth stereo, lights and what not) and purchased decorations and set up the playlist for our guests. Literally 5 minutes before the limo bus was to arrive, we get a call from (a supervisor?) Sarah saying that there was a mechanical issue with our limo and that they would be sending an alternative one. Well, what arrived was a 50 person charter bus with no working Bluetooth radio. I had to run in my house and grab a small handheld Bluetooth radio just so we didn't ride in silence. And while it was nice to have a larger bus, it was actually too big. People were so spread out with the traditional seating, we weren't able to socialize (the whole point of us choosing the other style). Our driver Raul was fantastic and the bus was clean and stocked with plenty of water, but he arrived late and we didn't leave on time. That ended up cutting our first stop's time by 30 minutes. Also, we had a strange situation happen where the back door blew open while we were on a bridge and our driver had to pull over to close it. Pretty wild waving to the cars riding behind us while in motion. While our event was salvaged by our understanding party goers and a happy birthday guy, I am deeply upset with the switcheroo I felt was played on us. I didn't want to go online and complain but we did not get any follow-up from an email sent requesting a partial refund as we didn't get what we prepaid for. $2k is a lot of money to be spending on a basic bus with no stereo. I would not recommend this service as they didn't provide the product paid for, and they didn't try to right the situation afterwards. 1 star for the friendly driver and clean bus and water.

A real gem on my burgeoning distillery tour of Portland!…read more Burgeoning because it turns out as much as other think I drink a lot (it's not a faze mom!!!) it turns out that I can only really ripple at one distillery a day. Anyway, I love that this tasting room is an easy walk from my place. Plus it's near all the food and other things I like when I take to the fire water and get to walking! I came during a private event and almost thought I wouldn't be able to taste. However they have a back bar area that has tables set up, so I was able to get my sip on. There are bunches and bunches to sip from the Hue Hue coffee rum (dangerous because you can sip this stuff straight, the coffee flavor is that good) to even an eggnog flavored tipple, you will find something interesting to taste! The tasting experience was informative and fun! It wasn't pretentious, and it truly was laid back. You can decide how much you wanted to interact. So if you just wanna sip and be left to your thoughts you're given the option. I bought a couple bottles and I will definitely be back for more. It's really cool to have a decent priced high quality distillery so close by!

The manager enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge. We tasted our $5 whiskey flight in the lounge area, but you also have your choice of sitting at the pour bar or at small high tables. A bottle of their award winning rye whisky is $79 which seems like a good value. I enjoyed the coffee rum taster and bought a bottle for only $19.95. Their wide selection makes the place look cluttered, somewhat messy. You're somewhat over-stimulated by all the eye candy and making a selection gets confusing. Whatever, if that model works then more power to them. I will definitely return.

We were always able to get to our stops on time (I've been on tours where the guide hovers too much, rushing us to the next location. This wasn't the case at all.) Nick was also just a super nice guy and really easy to talk to. Our group appreciated that a lot! We got to see fish being gutted/cleaned, learned about the canning process of tuna, went to a marina to go crabbing, and then went to an oyster bar. The amount of education was wonderfully balanced with convenience and efficiency. It was like a field trip, but in the best way, with drinks, food, and good company. I will 100% go on a tour with this company again when I'm back in Portland. Highly recommend!

Tour guide Ali (also the owner!) is passionate about sustainable agriculture of all kinds - other tours go to farms and dairies. This one is all about seafood - we learned to filet a fish, how to hold a live crab safely, how to go crabbing from a dock, and how to shuck an oyster. There was plenty to eat! I didn't need dinner when lunch happened at all 3 stops - a starter of chowder at stop one, cheese platter and a whole crab at stop two, and raw oysters at stop three. Also - Oregon wine & beer. Super interesting info about fisheries, the local fishing culture, and agricultural stuff - definitely expanded my understanding of Oregon & the coast.
