Botanico is a great restaurant with delicious food, attentive service, and beautiful ambiance. This restaurant is a little pricey (in Mexico standards) but definitely worth it. The service is really good from the start to the end. The food is very fresh and flavorful. The cappuccino was smooth and tasted great. Overall I really enjoyed the dinner here and I'll try to come again if I'm back in Mexico!

We walked in for lunch and got in!! I was so excited to dine at a place I only read about. The ambiance of the dining room is incredible. You are semi outside surrounded by lush greenery as you embark on a culinary experience. The service was incredible!! Now for the food I have no notes everything was simple yet elevated. The cocktails were balanced not overwhelming. I can definitely understand why they have received Michelin recognition.

Botánico is a tale of two meals. One of them is mine, and the other is my wife's. My meal of tuna carpaccio and a pork Milanese was delicious. However, her lunch of a Tuna Tostada, which was good, and Parpadelle with lamb ragout, which was horrible, left her wanting. Botanico is in a beautiful space. You dine surrounded by huge cacti and greenery. Hence, the name Botánico. It is mentioned in Michelin as a recommended restaurant, which is a surprise because it was relatively unknown for years, located afar in southern Hipodromo. The waitstaff is prolific, standing in groups at lunch and working in teams. The clientele was smartly dressed, looking as if they just stepped off the polo field, making me feel like a slob from Milwaukee. Oh, I am a slob from Milwaukee. The two bars are lovely. One is located in the jungle of greenery. The other is inside, upstairs, and across a bridge. While not cheap, Botánico is a wonderful dining experience.

I dined here on 3/19 - ugh, previous Yelper beat me to the FTR! - with three other friends; and we had an exquisite time at this Michelin-rated restaurant. First, know that you're stepping into a modern and serene botanical garden complete with a koi pond (and yes, a few axolotls/Mexican salamanders), lush plants and cactus, including a large saguaro. We arrived hungry and ordered just about everything on the menu. Caesar salad Kampachi tostada - Yes Jocoque - Do it Tuna Carpaccio - A MUST Papperdelle with lamb ragu Pork milanese Grilled shrimp For a Michelin-rated restaurant, we didn't receive the attentive service you'd expect. Service was good, but not exceptional. But I would def go back - I think it was one of my favorite meals all week.

My friends and I ended up here spontaneously after our original reservation fell through! After seeing the rave reviews and the Michelin star, we knew we had to give it a try. This place is absolutely incredible. The seating is entirely outdoors but covered, so you stay dry even if it rains. If you get chilly, they provide cozy fresh blankets. The food and drinks were outstanding! For larger groups, I recommend ordering different dishes so everyone can sample the diverse menu options.

Este restaurante fue en realidad, una gran experiencia, la comida deliciosa, el servicio excelente y el ambiente hermoso!! Mi esposo y yo todavía hablamos y tenemos antojo de los que comimos!! Food, ambiance and service was all 10/10!

Get a reservation! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful! We ordered everything that the waiter suggested and it did not disappoint! The ravioli was amazing, I wish I had some extra bread to soak up the extra sauce! Highly recommend for a nice date night!

This was a delicious and delightful dinning destination. You step of hectic street in Condessa and feel like you have been transported to a tranquil Mexican resort setting in part because of the HUGE cacti that great you in entry with a fish pond complete with axalotl! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was phenomenal. The roast chicken (special) and risotto stood out as favorites and have you ever had Brie cheesecake before? So good.

They knocked down walls to adjoin all apartments on each floor, gutted them out, and placed dinning areas throughout. So you walk in and they tell you to go to the 2nd or 3rd floor and pick a table. That table can be in the past living room or past kitchen of an apartment. So cool! The whole ground floor is the kitchen and prep area. The front entrance is thru a open door between two taco stands, the door leads you into the past patio/common area of the apartments. There is no signs in the entrance, just flag an employee down in the patio area and they'll direct you to an open floor. All seafood dishes come with their famous paella, which is one of the best I've tasted. I had the best Octopus cocktail of my live here. The octopus was chunky and tender! I will visit this place every time I come to Mexico City!! They speak English and accept credit cards.

It was delish too. The pork dish tasted somewhat like kimchi soup with pork in it. (It was in a pot on the front row, second one from the left) On the way out, I saw paella and that looked amazing so had to be back to try next day.. It was not bad for $200ish pesos. It is nothing fancy but I loved it. If you are adventurous and want to try what locals eat, this is the place.
