I have never taken issue with any of them. Gene the hygenist is amazing. I see her FOUR TIMES a year and she is wonderful; I look forward to going to her. She is personable, friendly, and gives excellent advice. She has so much training and knows a lot about dentistry and all the products on the market in terms of toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. etc. I really think she is thorough and spends one full hour cleaning you perfectly. The MD, Dr. Sulukowksi is amazing, too. I saw him as an 8th grader for an implant and he was so skilled. I am now 26 years old and still see him regularly for my teeth cleanings. He is located right outside Harvard Square and has unlimited street parking for Cambridge permits and for meters. Alan and his wife are both excellent, friendly, and always listening to your concerns. I will never forget that he told me him and his wife still wear their own retainers to bed :-) I plan to do the same my whole life as long as I can have perfect, white teeth just like them! I never ever plan to change dentists and am happy to pay out of pocket to come here in the future as it is 100 percent worth it! Tamara Wyzanski

TL;DR: Go elsewhere, if possible…read more Went here for a couple years as my first dentist in Boston. Was fine for most of it (routine cleanings, a filling). Front office was kind, my first hygienist was nice. My dentist and hygienist were changed on me without notice, and neither of them introduced themselves to me (I still don't know what the dentist looks like or what his name is). Further, the new hygienist used a tool during a routine cleaning that broke off a piece of my tooth. He asked if "that crack [has] always been there", to which I replied "no." Come to find that I require a crown. In my back and forth with the office over this, I find that the hygienist had written in his notes that I came in with the crack. His notes state that I said "I think one of my teeth broke", which is patently false. When confronted with this, the dentist refused to believe me or cover any part of the now required procedure. More than the confusion over the cause of the crack in my tooth, it really worried me that the dental notes written at this place don't align with reality: that's scary, as they aren't things I review at every routine cleaning. Icing on the cake: I asked for my dental records to move on to a new dentist, and they sent me the dental notes for a different patient, casually violating HIPAA. Go at your own risk.

I didn't have dental insurance but I always got my biannual check ups. I had gone to Gentle Dental in Somerville and they tried to convince me I had 8 cavities which I knew was BS based on my prior check up 6-months before. When I went to Dr. Foreman he saw what work I did and didn't need. I had to get a root canal and crown. When I told him my mother, who once was a dental assistant in NYC, would not be happy about the news he offered to call my mom. He actually called me one night several days later to check on me after the root canal work and asked again if he should call my mom (no joke). For big procedures like root canals and wisdom teeth removal he refers you to some excellent specialists in the area. For the 4 years I had visited Dr. Foreman I have always received excellent care and his hygienist are great too. My husband and I have referred him to friends, coworkers, and roommates. As mentioned in the previous review, Dr. Foreman is the best kept secret in Central Sq. Now that my husband and I live in Vermont, we miss having Dr. Foreman as our dentist. Our dentist is fine now but Dr. Foreman is by far the best at general dentistry and is a good person who cares about his patients.
