First thing to know is it is cash only but there's an ATM onsite with a very low fee of $1 to use it (this fee could be $5 and people would pay so this was quite the deal). This pizza is everything you want in a good slice, greasy in the best way, good amount of flop and structure, crispy airy charred crust and of course the cup'n'char pepps are mint. Highly recommend a side of the garlic sauce for dipping. Plenty of seating inside, public parking lot across from it and extremely clean washrooms. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful & cost was super reasonable for the size of the pizzas. Worth the drive to the hammer!

And they have quite the array of craft cocktails too. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If we're ever in the area again (it's kind of out of the way) we'll definitely come to try their weekend brunch.

Title: A Fusion of Flavors in a Cozy Haven - 5 Stars!…read more I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this incredible Italian-Asian fusion gem, and I can confidently say it's a 5-star experience from start to finish. This restaurant marries two culinary worlds seamlessly, leaving your taste buds dancing with delight. **Appetizers:** The Calamari was a crispy revelation. Accommodated gluten free & Perfectly fried to a golden hue, it retained its tenderness, and the accompanying tangy mango dipping sauce added a zesty kick that elevated the dish. But what truly stole my heart was the Whipped Ricotta. Creamy and dreamy, it was a delightful contrast to the Calamari's crispiness. The subtle herbs and sweet pea, and beet purées added layers of flavor, making it a must-try. We tried several dishes but I wanted to discuss our favorites. **Mains:** The Lemon Pistachio Fettuccine was an absolute revelation. The al dente pasta soaked in a zesty lemon cream sauce with the crunch of pistachios created a symphony of textures and flavors. It was a plate of pure joy. The Blackberry Short Rib was a masterpiece. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the blackberry glaze added a hint of sweetness that balanced the richness perfectly. Each bite was a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. For those with dietary restrictions, the Gluten-Free Chili Lime Shrimp Capellini is a winner. It's a testament to the chef's skill that gluten-free didn't mean flavor-free. The gluten free pasta was perfectly cooked, and the chili lime sauce had just the right amount of heat, dancing in perfect harmony with succulent shrimp. **Atmosphere:** The ambiance of this restaurant is truly unique. It's like stepping into the embrace of a beloved Canadian home. The decor exudes nostalgia, reminiscent of my grandparents' cozy house, with its warm wooden accents and charming knick-knacks. If you are a hockey fan, the walls are dedicated to a well curated collection of hockey memorabilia. Yet, it seamlessly blends with an intimate fine dining vibe, creating an atmosphere that's both casual and enchanting. Be careful inviting your boyfriend here, you might just find your next favorite venue. It's a place where you can enjoy a romantic dinner or gather with friends and family in a relaxed setting. In conclusion, this Italian-Asian fusion restaurant is a hidden culinary treasure. From the delectable appetizers to the unforgettable mains and the charming atmosphere, it's a destination worth visiting. I typically don't enjoy pasta but I will definitely be back with my family. Don't miss out on this exceptional dining experience!

Our order was 12 pieces (approximately 2.5 lbs) of the honey garlic Signature Wings $13.99, a medium Indian Butter Chicken Fusion pizza $17.75 plus a build my own large pizza with red onions, green peppers and ground beef $14.24. The best surprise were the wings and the Indian Fusion pizza consisting of Butter Chicken Sauce, Mozzarella, Butter Chicken, Green Pepper and Red Onions. Flavourful and delicious!

Bad pizza, messed up order, terrible service - don't waste your time…read more I ordered two medium pizzas and 12 wings last night the bill came in just shy of $60. This was my second time ordering pizza at Johnny's and it was "okay" the first time around but I would rather support local business than the chain options in popping up in town. Immediately after arriving I checked the boxes and realized that instead of my medium pizza with pineapple, ham and red onion, they delivered a gluten free, cheese only pizza. The other pizza and wings order was correct. I contacted Pizza By Johnny through their website (since I ordered the pizza online) and informed them of the error and have not yet received a response. I originally opted to try Pizza By Johnny to avoid the chain options in town and to support local business but it's really not worth the trouble or the money. I mean courtesy aside, the pizza is basically like an off-brand Delissio. Unfortunately, there aren't many other independent pizza shops in town and I will have to opt for a chain going forward as the experience, product and response have all been completely unsatisfactory. Don't waste your time.

Nestled on a side-street off busy James St N as you travel up the mountain, you'll find Flora on the ground floor of a older residential-looking building. The first thing you'll notice walking inside is actually how small this place is - the pizza ovens and prep area take up most of the space. But there's something incredibly charming about that because you have high hopes that if they dedicate that much space to food prep, it's gotta be good. Happy to report that their pizza lives up to the hype! Pizza is baked in a sheet-pan with a semi-thick crust that's soft yet crispy at the edges. Crust is on the thicker side relative to some Italian restaurants and pizza chains, but the composition of the dough makes it work because it has a bite but not too tough/thick where it gives your mouth a workout. I also loved their fresh tomato sauce. It balanced so well with the cheese and toppings, giving the pizza a nice freshness so that it didn't feel as heavy. My only critique was that I wanted more basil on my pizza (I love me some basil!)
