This was my second time ordering pizza at Johnny's and it was "okay" the first time around but I would rather support local business than the chain options in popping up in town. Immediately after arriving I checked the boxes and realized that instead of my medium pizza with pineapple, ham and red onion, they delivered a gluten free, cheese only pizza. The other pizza and wings order was correct. I contacted Pizza By Johnny through their website (since I ordered the pizza online) and informed them of the error and have not yet received a response. I originally opted to try Pizza By Johnny to avoid the chain options in town and to support local business but it's really not worth the trouble or the money. I mean courtesy aside, the pizza is basically like an off-brand Delissio. Unfortunately, there aren't many other independent pizza shops in town and I will have to opt for a chain going forward as the experience, product and response have all been completely unsatisfactory. So we stopped by to pick one up today. We got a large thin crust pizza - pepperoni on the whole thing and ham on half. Also got an order of salt & pepper wings. And they definitely exceeded our expectations! It was the kind of thin crust that droops down, and is nice and oily. This is how I love my pizza to be! The ingredients were fresh, cheese nice & stretchy, and a perfect amount of sauce. The wings were also really good - a little toasty and super tasty. Service was also great. Very polite and friendly! Like I said, a little out of our way, but totally worth the trip. We'll definitely be back!
