After a long day at Tsawwassen Mills Mall, I arrived and was greeted by the host promptly. Once seated, our server immediately took our drink orders. After delivering the drinks, she took orders for the kids, my wife, and me. We enjoyed large nachos with spicy chicken huge and delicious! We also shared a medium-sized pierogi pizza, which the server recommended, and I'd rate it a solid 4 out of 5. Ordered the Chicken Pecan salad for takeout. When I got home, I realized that there was not a single pecan in the salad. Like, it's in the name of the salad, how can they forget it?? Not the first time it's happened - but it had been awhile since my last order, so I thought I'd give them another try. Not worth the $22.49 plus taxes. read more

The plus was that they quickly seated us and gave us menus for ordering, took drink orders quickly and gave us ample time to order, highlighting a few items. I opted for a small Cauliflower Crust pizza with Pepperoni while my husband got the Truffle Mushroom Burger. The food took a bit of time to come out, but since we were starving and looking forward to our first meal in Canada, it was ok. When the food arrived, my husband took one bite out of his burger and said that he almost cracked his tooth on the burger since it was super tough. The server warned us that the burgers may be a little on the done side, but my husband said that his burger was as hard as a rock! Unfortunately, he didn't opt to eat the burger and had them take away his plate. The pizza that I got was ok, but not super remarkable. The crust option was delicious and the cheese melted to the right temperature. The Pepperoni was fine also. But I did expect the pizza to be pretty good, as they were known for their pizza. The server was apologetic about the unsavory burger that my husband ordered. She removed the entree immediately and had removed that charge from the bill. I mean, it was an ok establishment but only because we were in the area and at the outlet mall. I probably wouldn't return to any Boston Pizza unless I heard any rave reviews. I went to this particular Boston Pizza as it was close by and I have not been there over three years. I read the reviews before hand and it appears if you get a good night then the stars abound. Sadly we did not have a good night. The waiter was kind and I could not determine if he was truly busy or not. The restaurant side was not busy at 630pm. Drinks were slow getting to us. No water was given along with no cutlery for some time. An appy was ordered. Spinach and artichoke dip. It looked like the spinach was on the very light side. Came in a pizza shape. Hot and good. Problem was the appy came before our dinners about 5 minutes. So no time to eat or digest the appy. A Perogy pizza was ordered in error. I think she just wanted perogies. Their fault. Still it was bland and warm. The next dish was the jambyalia seafood and he said it was great and lots; enough to take home a good portion. The Mediterranean pizza was ordered and split between two of us. A special was requested and it was delivered correctly. Sadly it came luke warm at best. I like my pizzas hot. Not this one. It even appeared that the cheese had started to gel. To me it was just warm and appeared it had been sitting for some time. Again horrible. I do not like sending food back to the kitchen as it takes so long for them to cook the item properly. The price was very reasonable which was the really only good thing about tonight. This Boston Pizza in Tsawwassen Mills Mall is a fantastic place to watch sports for those of us who have made the choice to say "bye bye" to cable. There is a massive projector and the sound is just right for the ambiance. The restaurant has a sports bar but family friendly feel. Food has been consistently good. I usually opt for the Chicken Pecan Salad and/or Cactus Cut Potatoes. Their drink menu and bar program in general is lacking. It would be lovely to see Boston Pizzas across the Country support their local breweries and wineries by having at least a couple of rotating options. Just the generic choices here. Our server the other night was friendly and attentive. Overall a good 4-star experience and genuinely what I feel most of my visits to Boston Pizzas all around have been. Turned away multiple families and not very busy, management/owner seemed put out to talk to me about issues.

Absolutely terrible service. Went yesterday to watch the baseball game with my son. We were looking at at least 4 empty tables in the bar. We said we were in no rush to order but we were told we could not sit down for 30 minutes. The reason given was they were too busy. Offered to sit and wait they said no. I do enjoy going there but It's much to loud most the time last time I was there 6 dads 6 or more kids the boys were running in and out and the Dads did seem to care. This is my first time to write a review for restaurant, because this location has the worst service. We didn't eat, so this review just for the service. The reasons why I have to write this review: 1. We went there around 1pm, the whole restaurant just 20% full of customers, a few were sitting around the bar, a few were sitting in the middle, a few were sitting near the window side. 2. But a young,tall guy(maybe he's a red hair) told us only two tables available, one is near the front door, one is a very end table in the corner. I have to said he came with a bad face!!!!! 3. Because it's cold today, we didn't want to sit near the door. We tried to get in the corner table, but we can't, it's very tiny. 4. I asked him can we sit another table near the window side, he said no. Then I asked is it a reservation for someone, he said no, only those two tables he said are available. But the point is: there were two tables had customers sitting the window side,we just want to sit between those two tables. And no reservations at all! This Boston Pizza has become the place to celebrate our family birthday during Covid. The staff is great and that is the reason why we keep coming back. They make Covid precautions seem effortless while working hard at it. It also helps that we usually all have leftovers. Terribly slow and unaccommodating. It took them 15 minutes just to acknowledge I was there, waiting to be seated - when only half full. This restaurant is really awful. We came in on an afternoon and were told there was not enough staff to serve us. The restaurant was empty except for this birthday party they had happening for a 6 Year old. We have come back because we bought the kids cards. ordered 2 lasagnes, waited over 1/2 hour, asked the hostess if cutlery was in the bag, she assured me it was. As I was leaving another employee came running after saying they forgot my garlic bread, so I went back into get it. got to my hotel, no cutlery, tracked some down at the front desk, started to eat it and there was almost no meat sauce in the lasagne, it was basically noodles and cheese. horrible, and I have eaten at various BP's and have never complained. read more

I returned for a second chance, I had a really good pizza this time. They should offer thin crust bus that's corporate. Boston pizza- pizza- you would think that you have the pizza down?? Ordered a medium, thin crust $26 and was shocked at how small it was, onions way over cooked and just didn't work. Dominos has 10 fold better thin crust. The service on the other hand was good, I know you don't go to BP for wine but was with a lady friend and they only had 5 bottle choices, no big deal. I made a reservation for Saturday night but someone called me back saying they don't take reservations for Saturdays anymore. Was advised to show up by 5:30pm and shouldn't be a problem getting a table. We show up a couple minutes before 5:30pm, restaurant was 70% empty, but as soon as we said "party of 8 with kids", they say they have no space "because we're showing the fight today". Which really didn't make sense if the restaurant is mostly empty still and they don't allow reservations. Such sleazy management! Really don't want to visit this location again! read more

Went there Thursday afternoon, ordered online because I was catching the ferry. I walk d you n to pick up my order, there were 4 patrons in the whole place, the waitress at the bar looked at me and started playing with the remote for the tv. She wouldn't even make eye contact with me. Finally about three minutes later another server came out and the first one acknowledged me with a nod of her head and said, " Get that will you". The other server came to the front desk and did, " Have you been helped?". Would I be standing in an empty restaurant if I had been helped? I said , " No, but I have a take out order" A couple of minutes later I hot my order( small pizza) and left. I caught the ferry and then open d the box. I couldn't even recognize what I ordered! Tsawwassen Mills doesn't have many food choices at the moment so we decided to go to Boston Pizza after the mall closed. There were 4 employees standing by the front door yet none of them greeted us upon entering. Rude. One of the hostesses said "Ok" and guided us to our table.. still no hello. Water took a while to come, but it was understandable since our server was so busy serving more tables than she can handle. We got our food all at once which was nice. We ordered: small Mediterranean pizza, shrimp tacos with a side of cactus cut potatoes, a starter caesar salad, and apply crumble for dessert. Everything tasted delicious. Standard BP quality that I'm used to. While we were paying, the server apologized for lack of attention and service. I really appreciated this because as a server, I know it can get quite tough. The restaurant has a huge screen that plays whatever sport that's currently on. This is a decent restaurant except the hosts/hostesses really need to learn how to greet. read more

Brutal service!!! I visited this particular location with my daughter tonight at 6:15. We waited about 5-10 mins as we were told, so no complaints there. We were finally seated and told the usual, "your server will be with you in a moment". Well, our server was not with us in an moment or 5 or 10 minutes for that matter. However, she did visit the table beside us twice, and didn't acknowledge our table at all!! I was polite in waiting for her to finish with the other table before trying to get her attention, but then I would turn around and she would vanish into thin air! She did not look at our table, acknowledge us at all. Nothing!!! We finally just got up and left. I should have spoke with the Manager on the floor, but I was so annoyed, I just wanted to get the hell out of there.
