I liked the chicken, it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was tasty. The salad on the side was alright as well. I feel the meal was ok...I think spending some good time in Italy the last few months let me try some fantastic food over there and changed my bar on Italian food. The meal was definitely decent and will be my standard for Italian food in Ottawa. I think it was one of the better Italian meals I've had in town but not as good as some of the other Italian restaurants I've tried in Canada and definitely not in the same class as some of the places in Italy. My combo for lunch was around $17 and the portions were average size. I thought it was a great portion size for lunch. i'll be back next time I have a craving for Italian and will try something new.

They do pizzas and salads. They also have a small selection of desserts from local bakeries. They are licensed and serve wine and beer. They have soft drinks, water, San Pellegrino sodas, and Ottawa's own Harvey & Vern's sodas. However, they do not serve coffee nor tea. You order your pizza and pay at the cash register, then when your pizza is ready, they bring it to your table. They have Signature Pizzas (pre-set combinations) ranging in price from $8.95 to $12.85. Or you can build your own pizza. The base pizza is $8.55 (+$4 if you want gluten-free) which comes with your choice of sauce, and your choice of cheese (+$2 if you want dairy-free Daiya cheese). Basic toppings (mostly vegetables) are $1.35 each, and premium toppings (mostly meats) are $2.35. Salads range from $4.65-$8.45 depending on size and type. I built my own pizza with Fiazza red sauce, Fiazza cheese blend, artichokes, roasted broccoli and roasted BBQ chicken. It was fantastic. I loved the thin crust. The pizza wasn't too saucy, and they were not stingy with the toppings. I liked that the sauce was nice and light, and not overwhelming. The pizza also did not taste overly greasy/oily, which I appreciated. I liked that the cubes of chicken were lean breast meat and not gristly. Overall, I really enjoyed my pizza. The only thing that disappointed me on my visit was that I got a bottle of water and I asked for a glass to pour it into. They gave me a glass from behind the counter, and when I got to my table I realized that it was not clean; it had lip prints on it. Needless to say, I just drank my water straight from the bottle. I enjoyed the Wild Boar pizza with hot honey dipping sauce and a local craft beer (Pilsner). It was so delicious. I've never had wild boar and I was extremely impressed with what these pizza masters did with it! Food: Fun, new, delicious and excellent/authentic presentation Atmosphere: warm, inviting and a vibrant feeling of complete acceptance Service: wonderful, professional, attentive and passionate about their craft I rate this restaurant 5-stars and it is well earned. I will definitely be returning and telling everyone about it. Personal note: being a man that deals with anxiety in crowds I don't usually go to too many places as I get overwhelmed. There were roughly 12 other diners which I thought would be too much. However, the young woman who served me was so very kind and personable that she alone made me feel safe and comfortable.
