So far I have noticed two things I like, a happy pleasant staff and (what looked to be) the GM outside in a suit and tie moving a heavy, exposed aggregate garbage to another location. Taking care of the whole business is an important job , good to see! Nick was my server and he's was all you'd expect from a well trained staff member. Knowledge and confidence. My food arrived in great time. (Considering it was a lunch rush) it was hot and tasty. The pasta was cooked how I like it, not slimy and not under cooked . Sauce was a light rosè. Very nice. On a visit to Kamloops and staying at a neighbourhood hotel, went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Very slow and poor service. On my return from Kamloops on Sunday, stopped over at the Chilliwack location and that was a memorable experience. Maybe the Kamloops staff need training from colleagues at Chilliwack location in all areas kitchen, service etc. read more

Food was typical Boston Pizza affair. Boston Brute was good and mother enjoyed chicken wrap. I am placing a negative review for the removal of the safety barriers between booths. There is still a pandemic happening and I don't understand why it would be so hard to have kept them when most other restaurants (browns, earls, mr. mikes....etc) have kept theirs in place. The booths are only shoulder high as it is. There as also enough dust on the ledges separating booths to write your name in. I will be returning to establishments that still take public safety to heart. read more

The hubs and I wanted to use a gift certificate, so we decided to go to the Sahali location (I had a bad experience with the downtown location). We walked in on a sunny Saturday in mid-August. Customer service: The waitress was waiting in the front for patrons and was accommodating as to where we want to sit. We picked a side table in the patio since it was such a nice day (and didn't need to watch the Olympics). The restaurant was pretty empty inside with us being the only table in the patio. The server came quite quickly with drinks order and returned with our order at reasonable time. We couldn't decide on what to order and server was patient with us (coming back a few times to check on us). One thing was missed was the fact that she didn't mention any specials. We saw the specials on the sandwich board and had to flag her down and ask her more details on the special. Kitchen service: we ordered the steak sandwich with house salad ($18) and double bacon BBQ burger with fries ($16) at 1:55pm. The order arrived at 2:12pm. Taste: the steak in the steak sandwich did not have any taste. The onions were not caramelized enough. The house salad was fresh. The bacon in the double bacon burger was limpy and not cooked crispy. When brought to the attention of the server, she offered to have kitchen serve another order of crispy bacon. Waited for 10 mins and the "crispy" bacon was served overcooked and dried up (see picture below). The BBQ sauce was dismissible. The fries are better had we gone to MacDonald's, A&W, KFC or Church's Chicken. Portion: standard size for these chain restaurants. Kind of stingy on the fries. Overall: Customer service was ok, but unless we receive another gift certificate, we are not going to come back again. read more

The wings we ordered were great! Ordered a fishbowl rum punch but it was watery and did not taste very well! Me and my friend ordered the burger, the bun was dry, not much sauce and the fries were cold! I already sent my drink back and did not want to ask for fresh fries! Boston should sue the owner of Boston pizza for dragging Boston's name down with this pizza. I've come to accept that the West Coast doesn't know what pizza actually is. It's supposed to be a delicious dough, with high quality sauce, cheese, and toppings. Some are very greasy, some authentic Italian. Regardless, it's supposed to be reasonably priced and filling. It's a wonderful hangover cure as well. Individual Green Pepper Pizza ($9.35): This pizza is a step below Pizza Hut and about three times the cost. It's cheap tasting and super greasy. At the price Pizza Hut serves it at, it's acceptable. But Boston Pizza charges far too much for this. It didn't look appetizing on the plate either. The servers were pleasant, and the restaurant was clean. But I would never pay to come here myself. read more

DO NOT ORDER THE SHRIMP TACOS. It was heavily fried in batter and it tasted like a hot dog. We physically feel sick from eating it, throwing up and in and out of the bathroom. It was wayyy over priced for the cheap baseball food that we got. It was also drenched in this gross sauce that they call "chill lime sauce" It gave us the sweats and made us dizzy. BAD EXPERIENCE. I ordered on SKIP my meal and I got pasta and wings. I love Boston Pizza but when living in a hotel room cutlery is VERy important. How is one eat their food if you do not include the cutlery. Last I checked we are civilized people who use forks and knives not to mention how about a napkin or two.... I paid $49 and HAVE ZERO CUTLERY to enjoy. Have always loved boston pizza but disappointed this time. Food was on the cold side and my last order was the same. They also now charged a 4 dollar delivery charge! So why did I leave a tip for delivery driver? Do they get that? They also screwed my order up and got chicken wings instead of thai bits and got them about an hour later. Will have to try somewhere else next time as a little disappointed for the price that I paid as they are on the pricey side!There not cheap.... expected better. Do not get delivery!!!!!! Asked for a dimple order of two build your own pastas and a kids meal with side salads and they got the order all wrong. On top of that they say 45mins to 1hr. I got my order after i called back when 1:30hr had passed. They were out of the kids dessert and activity booklet and never called to ask if we wanted something else.... Thay also forgot the sauce for the pastas... I called back and after 20mins on the phone, they offer to redo the order but would take another "hour" for delivery or ghe managrr could call me the next day for a credit... Boston Pizza is a Canadian chain, but it's American relative (brother, maybe cousin) is called Boston's. Exactly the same restaurant. Just so you know. I have no idea why it's called BP if it's a Canadian pizza chain. They should have called it something Toronto Pizza, or Montreal Pizza, or even Tuktoyaktuk Pizza. Whatever, go out for some unique Canadian pizza instead at a local place like Vittorios or Pizza Pi. I prefer to make my own myself. read more

The food isn't anything to write home about. It kind of tastes like cheap canned sauces and ingredients hastily assembled and cooked all under a heat lamp. Basically, it's the kind of thing you'd generally say "you get what you pay for" but it isn't cheap either. The only two items on the menu I enjoy are the perogi pizza and the Molson beer Ceasar with the bacon in it. The bacon in the Ceasar is actually kind of gross, but it's a decent beer Ceasar. And honestly the downtown location makes it consistently better. Sometimes atmosphere and service can make up for a limited menu and substandard food, but the service here is probably the worst I have ever encountered. None of the managers and service staff seem to know much about their own menu and would rather sit behind the bar drinking than working. Seating can take up to a half hour when the restaurant is empty and it's only a table of two. More than once I have had groups over five turned away when there was obviously seating available. They also claim to do delivery... But don't hold your breath. If it shows up at all, consider yourself lucky. If it shows up luke warm, your also lucky. I have attempted delivery there and was told outright they do not deliver - when I had ordered delivery there not long ago. I have called for delivery and been told the restaurant was closed - only to drive by an hour later (to pick up from a different restaurant) and see they were clearly open. I have used the online delivery service - but messed up the order so had to call to correct and confirm it, and was told it would arrive in an hour. An hour and a quarter later I received a call from the manager saying it hadn't been made or delivered and would take another hour. Needless to say I ordered pizza from panago and it arrived in 15 minutes, piping hot, and it was a quarter of the price! I definitely don't recommend eating here or ordering from here ever. read more

A group of 10 of us went to this Boston Pizza for dinner. I ordered the Chopped Chicken salad. While everyone else was digging in, I am assaulted by what can only be described as a "dumpster like" smell. I pulled one of the strips of chicken off the salad and found it to have a rancid smell. Not just slightly, but full scale rotten. I removed it from the table and brought it to the servers attention and he removed it. There was no aplogy, just: "Would you like to order something else ?". No thanks. I was contacted by the resturaunt manager about this after posting a complaint with BP, who assured me that this would be unlikely to happen due to their high quality standards. So, at this point I am left wondering if I should be reassured that eating meat that smells like a dead groundhog laying in the summer heat too long is ok. Me thinks, not. read more

Awful! For a family resteraunt they sure are not very accommodating. I have one child with a gluten and dairy allergy. I asked if the children's pasta dish could be substituted for gluten free pasta since there is an adult option. I was told no. No way, no reason just can't. The pizza dough had dairy in it so that left me having to order a 4 year old an adult size portion of pasta. I also asked to have some left over food packed up which she did not return with. Usually I tip 20-25% but since I had to pay for a ridiculously large portion of (overcooked gross) pasta I left zero. I will not return to BPs. really like BP restaurants and menu and pricing and service. what I don't like is the noise factor. not sure why some places are quiet and some are so loud. patio was closed . too bad for us . onion soup is one of my favourite items to order. and then , chicken Asian bites are next. we had a party of 20 people last night. service was very good. food was a little slow. but it was very busy. Good service, clean restaurant. The food however, was terrible. I had French onion soup and it tasted like water with a faint onion flavor. There were pieces of dehydrated onions floating in it and the cheese was its only redeeming quality. The pizza bread was mediocre but it's hard to screw up bread. My friend ordered a chicken pesto that looked like it came from a box. The consistency of the pesto was all wrong and the sauce actually looked watery. All in all, it was disappointing and I regret not going to McDonald's which was next door. read more
