I felt like I could get a better fried chicken sandwich from Popeyes or even KFC and that's saying something. What really sealed it for me though was finding some kind of fibrous material in the bun itself. But Mada knocks everything out of the park. The burger is thick style, not smash. I just tried the classic but next time I'd get the house burger, which has jalapeños and onions. The Nashville chicken sandwich has a great flavor but not enough heat even at max spice (the owner said he'll dial it up going forward). The general gao was a hit with my family tho it doesn't come with rice or noodles -- just a big plate of chicken (if you come during lunch hours I'd get the lunch combo which is half noodles half general gao). Started by a husband and wife team just a month ago, it's an all halal family business. Total welcome addition to the weak halal food scene in greater Boston.
