Security repeatedly had to go to their site…read more One night the campers went through our site kicking our stuff, flashing flashlight in our windows. Our teenagers chased them out of our site. One was hiding in the bushes. The next day the father came to our site yelling and accusing us of ridiculous things. We were very nervous. They were glaring at us all day. We went to the ocean at night and came back to multiple chairs ruined. They tried to get into camper which was evident because locked handle sticking up. Security was great. The next morning a very young manager told us that he would write up an incident report. I told him security told us the tenters would not be back. The manager said that security should not have said that without checking with him. Felt it was more of a power trip than making us feel safe. Needless to say we left without booking next year. Now called Sun Retreats

I can honestly say that I have never had this much fun camping in my life! They accommodate both tent and RV campers, there is a spot to please anybody. The facility is secure, and you will feel good knowing that people that don't belong will not get past the gates. They have an amazing store, with all sorts of camping gear, food, firewood, and plenty of ice. They also rent golf carts for use around this beautiful, massive park. There is a beach, swimming area, food shack, and even an ice cream shop. Not only do they offer a variety of regular and seasonal events, they do an amazing job of putting them together and getting people involved. We had the pleasure of being there for their Halloween celebration, including a massive golf cart parade, costume and decorating contests as well. Considering all that you get, their fees are very reasonable. So why not give camping a try and get yourself to Maple Woods to join in on the fun!

The AC didn't work on the most hottest day and it took them a little bit to figure out how to fix it. 2. The cabin was not clean and my son spilled soda because it was hidden behind the curtains. 3. There was no hot water. For a 48 hour stay there was quite a few issues that needed to be resolved. However I do want to speak on the fact that the activities were super fun and they were unique however I do think that the family trivia needs to be tweaked and needs to be easier for the family. The bingo night as well as candy bingo night we're super fun and we really do enjoy all the amenities such as the pool. I wish that the bike ramp was open or they had something for scooters that would be really cool but it was a super nice time.

There are other courts next to the big playground that you can use but we still needed to walk all the way there to find out there were no courts. Also every time we went to the courts it was to busy and we coudlnt play which isn't their fault but it was annoying. At the food place they have we got onion rings for 8$ and mozzarella sticks for 8$, the onion rings were actually pretty good and I think worth the money but the mozzarella sticks were soggy and there were five of them for 8$. I think that price was a little much for five mozzarella sticks. Went to the indoor pool and it felt a little weird, it was downstairs and 4 ft deep at most, the lights made it look pretty gloomy and it was pretty crowded. Also part of downstairs was carpet which made it look even more gloomy.

Stayed here with my family from Saturday July 13th-Thursday July 18th 2024…read more Checked in at about 1:06pm. This was Melville Pond RV Park, but then switched hands to Newport RV park. Check in process was easy, However, we did have to move sites from 426 to 431 because we didn't fit. We also couldn't take out any tables or chairs had we stayed in spot 426. We have a long 5th wheel trailer with slides so, we need like lots of room. Luckily called the office and was able to switch spots. That seemed to work, and we had more room to set up our table and chairs. Once we completed set up, we tried to set up the tvs. For some reason, if you have a roku tv, don't expect it to connect to the internet, at least from the site we stayed at. Failed to connect several times, and we had to constantly rescan the tv channels because of all 78 channels only a few were coming in clearly. I found things to watch on my own, with the channels that came in properly like history. Anyways, campground was very quiet, and even with a nearby town dog park, it was pretty good, and quiet. Close to newport and about 30 minutes to Province. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Since the snow in January, these poor goats just huddle outside their little house because they have NO WHERE to walk to. Someone shoveled a thin path to no where. The problem is the ONE and ONLY less then adequate path is SO thin, the poor goats can't even turn around to return to their goat house. I spoke to the older woman inside the office about one week ago who told me she'd "Let the owner know." I drove by again today, and either my message didn't get to the owner or . . . the owner couldn't care less about these goats. Please take better care of your goats who need and deserve a loving, healthy place to live.

There are three showers for women, only one works and that one has no pressure or ability to get hot water. The other unisex three are not very clean and are portables. My husband stood watch at the men's showers, three working showers with hot water; this is not very pleasant when we'd have to go at off hours so as not to prevent any men from coming there to use them. The owners maintain their property beautifully but the property which I was told is owned by a corporation seems to not care. Too bad; convenience usually comes with well maintained property.

Middleboro, MA KOA Campground…read more I was at an event recently and met the owners of a beautiful young golden retriever. Upon petting him I noticed he had suture marks all over. His owner/dad told me he was mauled by a pit bull at the KOA campground in Middleboro. Not only did the owners of the pit not care, but the managers of the grounds did not either. Beware.
