We've always used a different company in Stratford for our hot tub maintenance and supplies. However we weren't happy with their service any longer.
We started buying our supplies from Bosco's a while ago, and liked the people who worked there. They help out the community.
We called them up to have them come take a look at the hot tub. We told them the problem was with the LED panel on the front. They came over and pulled the front of the hot tub off to get the model number and told me they would price up the part, and a few other things we wanted and left. We ordered it and the part was in quite quickly.
The guys came over to install it, and not too long after, there was a rap at the door. "Has this always been like this?"
I told him that it was never great, and kept getting worse until we couldn't read it anymore.
He told me... When he looked closely at it, something seemed off. So he carefully peeled back the sticker with the English control labels, and under it, he found the PROTECTIVE SHIELD on the LED screen. You know, the plastic film on electronics.
So after a few months the water gradually seeped under in the plastic got more and more yellow in hard until we could go longer see through it.
When the other company replaced it, about two years ago, they had left it on, and the sticker they applied covered the edges.
We never would've known the difference.
