Bosch Lighting was born from a simple mission: Bringing light to all of Idaho. While our passion for professional lighting runs deep, our official journey began in 2023 with a lot of heart and a heavy-duty trailer.
In those early days, it was just me and my pregnant wife operating out of our trailer, working long hours to prove that a local, independent family business could provide better quality and more personal service than any national franchise. We didn’t just want to hang lights; we wanted to provide permanent, smart solutions that made life easier for our neighbors.
Since then, we’ve grown into Idaho’s premier independent specialist for permanent smart lighting, but we haven’t lost that "family-first" work ethic. Today, we specialize in precision, custom-matched installations that are invisible by day and brilliant by night. Whether it's Boise, Meridian, or beyond, we treat every home like it's the one that started it all.
Meet the Business Owner: Nathan B.
Hi, I’m Nathan Vanden Bosch, founder of Bosch Lighting. My journey into smart lighting didn’t start in an office; it began in 2023 out of a trailer with my pregnant wife by my side and a vision to build something lasting for our family and community.
I started Bosch Lighting because I saw a gap in the market: people wanted high-end, permanent holiday and accent lighting, but they weren't getting the personal, precision-focused service they deserved from big franchises. I decided to change that by building a company rooted in Idaho values—where your word is your bond and the job isn't done until it’s perfect.
As a local owner, I personally oversee our installations to ensure every home is treated with the same care as my own. My goal isn't just to install lights; it's to provide my neighbors with a smarter, safer, and more beautiful way to live. When I’m not bringing light to Idaho homes, I’m enjoying life here in Boise with my family.
