While they said they had never seen a fridge water filter get stuck the way mine was, they immediately knew what to do and were done in under 30 minutes. They went on to explain what they'd done, cleaned the entire area of any evidence they were there, and even gave me a discount since the problem was not caused by actions on my end. He put a cup in the dishwasher, and a towel in the washing machine. After running them both he told me that the dishwasher leaks and doesn't have enough water pressure and the washing machine isn't making the noise right now. He didn't even attempt to look for the source of the noise it has been making.
