I'm so glad I made a stop here in the morning. I love that they open early unlike other places in the area. Their ham,potato, and egg breakfast burrito was to die for! Bosa has the best brisket burritos i have ever eaten, and trust me I have eaten a lot of them! Their posole is wonderfully tasty and the menudo is very good. One of the few places that puts pigs feet in their menudo. Very authentic. They also make the best tamales in town. The nice lady that does the cooking reminds me of my aunt from Mexico. The only downside is the building, it's a shabby little place. Although i don't care, because the food is what I care about. I have eaten at every Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces, and this little place called Bosa's Donuts and Burritos is one of the best!!! read more

I've lived in Las Cruces for 10+ years and I've been to Bosa 4 times. I wish I could tell you what the food is like. I can't, because when the staff actually stops actively ignoring you, they're pretty hostile. It's like they get paid to NOT sell donuts and breakfast burritos. Fellow yelpers, please don't be discouraged by the lack of reviews! This place is great. It's the first place i've ever been to in Las Cruces so I have nothing to compare it to in the area, but the food is very good and super reasonably priced. We had some brisket tacos, brisket burrito, and a glazed donut. The tacos are like $2 each and I think the donut was $1, so that's pretty excellent in my mind. Excellent apple fritters. It was disappointing to see the case for donuts not filled with donuts; however, the apple fritters are to die for - big on size and flavor!! On the advice of fellow Yelpers ( I know this doesn't help expand the data base, but sometimes you just want 'tried and true') - I stopped in for an apple fritter and brisket burrito. Fritters are BIG (as are the old fashion bars - great with my morning coffee), although shy on Apple for my liking. I would gladly have paid a higher price for more apples in the mix (I would have gladly paid more as they are - they're underpriced). The brisket burrito is as described in other reviews - tender, juicy, filling, unassuming sauce, and cabbage. A++. I'm stopping on my way back to the Motel for more :) read more

The burritos are large and very filling. Their green chili was excellent. The donut choices were low but since they make them fresh daily and we came about 10am, most of them were gone. The apple fritter is huge. My teenage son loved it and couldn't finish it all after a single burrito. That's impressive. Great gem!! read more

Horrible. First visit I ordered a breakfast burrito with red chile & after eating about half a burrito I bit down on a little twig. There was an actual twig like off a tree in my burrito. 2nd time around I went when they opened about 6am to get a dozen glazed donuts for Co workers and when I got to work I found hair one one and soon realized Every single one had hair on it. I took them back to show the owner and they shrugged at me and said they were box shavings. They looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for my money back. Never going there again. read more

Been frequenting this place recently. I'm a burrito lover and am always looking for cheap breakfast burritos served all day. I've been getting the egg and potato burrito with red chile. Each burrito is only 2.97ish, and the chile has enough bite to it to keep me happy. I come here for the menudo! Saturday and Sunday mornings after a night of going out, menudo really hits the spot. I usually get a small which doesn't seem like a lot, but it's very filling. I'll get a large if it was that type of night ;) the menudo comes with onions, oregano and lime on the side. They also give you a toasted, buttered bolillo to dunk in your menudo! Yum! Donuts of course are bomb, the outside has a nice crunch, inside is light, airy and flavorful! Go early to see all they flavors they offer ! Burritos are good! Bought dozen donuts and burritos for the family. Decent prices but I was overcharged. Either that or I paid 5.00 tax On what should have been about 24.00 in food. Donuts were good but not fantastic. I am a student at DACC, whose snack bar offers Bosa Donuts burritos. I pay $2.50 for my burrito, which is an average cost. Bosa does not sell to it's vendors at that cost, so they do not pocket that amount. Coming from a restaurant ownership background, a traditional mark-up for a vendor is 100%; thus, Bosa is probably selling their burritos for $1.25. Food cost is typically 33%; therefore Bosa's cost is about 40 cents. Bosa burritos at DACC vary from bean and cheese to chile relleno. I have enjoyed both. But not consistently. Today I bought a potato and cheese burrito; there was no cheese. This has been the case consistently. I returned the burrito and exchanged it for a brisket. The brisket was excellent; so was the tortilla - that which I could scrape off the wrapper as it was so gummy. Again, with an owner- restaurant background, I know that food contracts are very lucrative. Sometimes to the point that the vendor is the only one approved. I applaud Bosa for not taking advantage of that. But I also suggest that Bosa take a look at the product they are offering. Those contracts can be nullified with just a few legitimate complaints. read more

This place is horrible. I would give zero if possible. It takes a lot by the way for me to write a bad review. First issue is that when you go early in the morning they have no lights outside except for a "Open" sign. I mean pitch black. This is a customer safety issue I have almost hit things 2 different times. Second issue is when you pull up to the drive thru in the AM no one comes up to the Window. You have to push a bell which is fine but no one never comes to the window. I understand that most places make there money from customers inside but they should do away with the drive thru if they do not wanna help customers. They never come to the window. I have waited 10 min and when you go inside to order they just say "oh". No apologizes or anything. Only reason for one star is because the food is good. read more

How to begin? To me a place that sells donuts and burritos can reasonably be expected to excel at neither. A place that leaves a big yellow pail in the middle of the dining area with the overpowering smell of disinfectant cleaner could hardly be called welcoming. In fact they were so unwelcoming that they provided a bell on the counter to summon help and the bell was somewhat defective. The menu board was old and discolored and did next to nothing to encourage you try one of their burritos. All it said was "Brisket Burrito" and the price(which was low) hardly was an incentive to take a gamble. But we were on the second day of a 2,000 mile roadie and we were armed with the knowledge that a credible blogger had called this particular Burrito the single best thing to eat in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Believe it! This compact little beauty was magnifcent,,,,,, a Burrito to remember. This was not a Mission district bomber, stuffed with rice, beans, watery guac and some day old carne asada in a steamed flour tort,,, this was lots of brisket with a mildly spiced and smokey flavor,,,,, some cabbage and perhaps mayo in perfect harmony. The flour tortilla was warmed and the whole thing was right sized. I did not want it to end but I will always remember it was the best burrito ever. Before I left I felt compelled to let the staff know how much I enjoyed their Brisket Burrito. When I told the young lady how we found her place on the web and it was indeed the best burrito ever she looked at me like I was crazy and said "really?" Then she repeated my compliment in Spanish for the lady cooking. I hope our praise made her day because her Burrito made ours. Second Visit Update.......... The brisket burrito was as good as I remembered. Got some apple fritters for the road and they were great. Not oily at all. The smelly yellow bucket was still in the middle of the dining room. I told the counter person about the review on yelp and encouraged her to check it out. Third visit update..... They must have read the first review. We stopped in again on our return trip to California cause we needed some more apple fritters. The stinky yellow bucket was no longer in the middle of the dining room. The place no longer smelled like Lysol. The apple fritters were wonderful. read more

We take frequent trips and pass through las cruces and after finding this place, we now stop and pick up lunch and a donut for our trip. I have to say these are probably the best donuts I have had. The donuts, burritos and tomales are good. Not exceptional. But donuts even by the dozen come in a sack and they are mangled, smeared, and broken. I have gotten them in boxes on occasion but too often, not. Unacceptable.... especially if you want to have them for an occasion. If they are sacked they look terrible and it really undermines their good product reputation.. The staff doesn't tell you before you order the boxes are not available and you never know sometimes yes and sometimes no... Today I rejected them because I wanted nice donuts tp treat coworkers not something that looked like yesterday's donuts on discount bin. Yet because I rejected the sacked donuts they overcharged me by about $3 for the burrito I also ordered which was less than $3 A $6 burrito. This is not the first time but in the past I accepted the bagged donuts complaining this was bad. They have a take it or leave it attitude. So from now, after today with 1 dozen smushed donuts in a small paper bag on I am leaving this place off my list. Food is tasty but not worth the lack of concern about the condition in which it is served. Maybe this doesn't bother some, but for those it might, ask before you get ripped off. read more
