This place has the best fluffy donuts and best tasting tamales! They do not go short on the meat in the tamales and they have just the right amount of heat to them. It has a good amount of people everytime we go so it's definitely a local favorite! But no matter how busy it gets the service is always great. They do have some tables to sit at inside if you want to stay and eat your delicious food. read more

Mostly fresh pastries. The raised donuts were pretty good. Breakfast burrito not so good. Tamales were excellent! Just the right spice and lots of pork. Coffee was awful. We threw it out. Buzzed by Dunkin drive thru to get a better although pricey, cup o joe. Over $8 for two large black coffees. LOL Anyway, back to Bosa Donuts. Quirky little donut shop. Popular with the locals. Stick to the raised donuts and tamales and you'll be fine. If you want a fritter, ask for a bear claw! read more

Bosa Donuts - Potato and egg burrito with cheese and green chile sauce, with added refried beans. - Donuts Near Me - Las Cruces, New Mexico

The donuts were ok There was a large verity of cake ones to choose from. I ordersd a ham burrito but it was sausage so I couldnt eat it

last two times didn't get what I ordered won't go back. won't pick up the phone to tell them.

Tamales!!! These are very good tamales. They are huge, and the masa has such great flavor that I could just eat that part of it and be happy. The family enjoyed the red (pork) the best, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the green (cheese & fresh jalapeno) and it turned out to be my favorite. There isn't a ton of filling like some others have complained about, but I actually like this ratio when the masa is so good. Now the donuts are very acceptable. The cake ones are better, the yeast ones are pretty passable. Just go for the tamales. read more

40 long years of amazing food and service. Been going to bosa since I was a toddler and the food never misses. Donuts are just as good as they used to be. Burritos Still just perfect. I always recommend to outta towners. Has a nice homemade feel. Great place place for families. read more

We walked here from our hotel because we love supporting local businesses when we can. The donuts are definitely a 5 star and we highly recommend. It was obvious they have been in business a long time from the lines inside and in the drive thru that we picked the right place. We ordered a chorizo burrito with potato. It was too hot for me even with the green chile on the side but hubs said it was good. We loved there were places to sit and enjoy. We will return! read more

I haven't been to Bosa in a while. They have (or used to have) a vanilla cream filled chocolate donut that is the best in town. Since today was National Donut Day I decided to drive over there. I ordered a breakfast burrito and 2 cream filled chocolate donuts. The burrito tasted burnt and instead of cream filled chocolate donuts I got regular chocolate iced glazed donuts. So disappointing. I did get an apple fritter & a twist which was awesome. read more

Rude staff, takes too long to get a simple order and the food isn't even all that to put up with the bs and the tamales are dry with 20% meat very sad I wouldn't call this a tamale even in Texas read more

We came to Bosa at 8:00 AM , for their donuts! We walked in as we had never visited before. There were lots of cars in the drive thru but they were obviously NOT ordering donuts! Their selection was tiny & what was in the counter looked like they'd been run over by a semi. They tasted OK although greasy! They advertise donuts, burritos & tamales but obviously their burritos & tamales must be great!!! With Dunkin' Donuts right down the street.... Why compete! The service was non existent as the girl behind the counter couldn't get our order straight & was downright sullen! We won't be back! 'waste of money! We won't come back' read more

Great donuts!! My favorite place to get donuts here in town. Their burritos are also very good. Get there early, especially on the weekends, they sell out fast. read more

my wife placed an order this morning for Five Dozen Tamales. she was told to pick them up @3 pm. I was there at 2 pm. the first cashier told me they had no Green Tamales. we ordered Two Green and Three red. she proceeded to tell me she could give me 5 Dozen Red the next cashier came out and told me there were no Tamales. Don't patronize this stor. I went To Roberto's and they accommodated me. I also purchased. hops and salsa way to Go Roberto's Bob Gutman Roswell NM read more

Everyone in this town has raved about the tamales. After one year of hearing about this place, I decided to get one dozen red pork tamales $22 great price, and rice and beans. I was excited. The rice and beans were good. The tamale masa tasted like they used old oil or old lard. The red pork meat was plenty and tasted ok. The tamales gave me heartburn. I'm absolutely disappointed. How could several people in this town be so wrong? $22 down the drain. I don't even want to try their donuts. Probably use old oil, too. Yuck! read more

I was so disappointed with Bosa a few days ago. They used to be one of my favorites for a burrito and I'd gladly pay the higher prices if the quality was still good but the last burrito I got for breakfast was terrible. I ordered chorizo, egg, green chile, and cheese. That is a really easy breakfast burrito to make so they don't have any excuses for messing that up. They totally skimped out the fillings and the tortilla had burnt spots all over. I tried to tear off the burnt pieces but it still had that charred flavor throughout the whole burrito. I was really hungry and had to get to work so I ate it but I be going back any time soon. read more

The best tamales around, hands down. Also had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito and added green chile and cheese. It was great!

i came here in 2019 and it was amazing, good burritos and had a lot of varieties of donuts. I came today at 9:35 and the young lady that took my order was very rude, gave an attitude and didn't seem interested in even being there let alone in helping me with my questions. along with i ordered two breakfast burritos (egg and potato ) and both tasted old, and like fish . it literally made me start to gag due to how funky it tasted. based off this i wouldn't come back . which saddens me due to my first experience was amazing and i even recommended it to others yet now ill reconsider. read more

This is the best donut shop in town. I come through Las Cruces about every six months and make it a point to stop here for their buttermilk bar donuts. No where else I travel have buttermilk bars like Bosa's. They also have pretty large and delicious burritos. The service has always been pretty quick and I enjoy the small restaurant's seating area. read more

Over the years I have tried everything on their menu! Never disappointed. Firstly, coming from one who grew up in a famous West Texas bakery cafe, the donuts and cinnamon rolls are the best in town. Unfortunately, you have to get there fairly early to have any. Secondly, the burritos are also the best in town. The brisket is my favorite, but I also get the ground beef and potato (no cheese for me) and the chorizo, egg and bacon! Mmmmmm... Thirdly, the posole is so delicious and satisfying. It is rare, but occasionally they are out of things because I usually go to lunch at 2PM. So go early, often and hungry and you won't be disappointed. read more

The donuts are unique and good--made daily. If you don't get there early your favorite donut will probably be gone, but I got what was left and it tasted like a pancake, but in the best way. I also had a breakfast burrito--bacon, egg, cheese, potato, and chili--it was simple, but the bomb! I like how they chop the bacon into bits. It tasted home made. Other places get too damn fancy with simple burritos. This was basic and what I wanted, and I'm pretty confident I knew what was in it. A bit salty, but hey, that's bacon for ya. Thanks! (also blablabla covid19 support during this DIFFICULT time. what ever will we do. people are just dropping in the streets.. xD) read more

I wanted to love this place! We drove out of the way to visit after promising our kiddos donuts. When we visited it was mid afternoon and the majority of customers were ordering plates to go at the time. When it was our turn to order an employee came from the back and took our order for two donuts. Her hands had food on them as if she had been preparing orders in the back and she handled our money with those hands and then dipped the donuts without cleaning/wearing gloves. It just seemed very unsanitary and she then had her hand in the bag adjusting the donuts. I didn't let my kids eat them because other people were also ordering, giving payment methods, etc. and there was no cleansing of the hands. Even if the donuts are amazing that right there is enough for me to say no thank you to this place. read more

Ok, so we stop into this place two or three times a year. We stay in Las Cruces on our drive from Palm Desert to Roswell and back. That said....it's the doughnuts that make us stop.....OMG, this time I just happened to look on line to make sure they were open. I read the review about the tamales, I am kind of a tamale snob. Anyway we bought 6 and brought them to Roswell. Just had them for dinner.....FANTASTIC. So great. Oh, by the way we really do love the doughnuts and considering we usually are stopping first thing in the morning....service is always great and friendly. Love to give them their well deserved 5 stars. read more

This Four Star rating is based only on the donuts...not the dining experience or Mexican food. The service today (and I know they've had issues) was very good...pleasant and efficient. The prices were reasonable: $1.02 for a jelly filled donut and$1.80 for a delicious custard filled Long John. I was a little disappointed in my apple fritter as it had virtually no pieces of apple as they've had in days past. What had been great fritters on previous visits on this day were merely good. Rate the apple fritter today a "B"...meaning good but not up to previous standards. The blueberry filled donut was quite good but kind of what you expect. Rate it a "B" also. The custard filled Long Johns, however, were absolutely delicious...as good as it gets. Rate these Long Johns an "A+." Yes, they're that good. Today I rate Bosa Donuts four stars for really good donuts and pleasant service. I am not a fan of their Mexican food, but since I have not sampled it in a few years I will not comment on it. May re-try the Mexican food sometime in the near future. Stay tuned. read more

So thankful to find a small family owned donut business in my new home! After trying a few other donut shops in the area I have zero doubt that these are the best! The drive thru is a little slow moving. If it is your first time to the joint I recommend parking and going inside. They have SOOO much food, so many choices in donuts (both yeast and cake) and their cake donuts are soooo good! read more

Wow it's really gone downhill here. I hope I just happened to stop by on a bad day but the eggs in my egg and cheese burritos were gray. Yes GRAY. I felt ill when I looked down and saw it. This is our go to donut shop! They are on point. The yeast donuts are soft and delicious. Strawberry and chocolate frosting is really food. Bavarian filled chocolate bars are incredible. The old fashion donuts have a light crisp outside and are soft in the middle. The cinnamon sugar ones are like a churro! I like there turnovers, they are light and flaky and all the fillings are great. They have cherry, blueberry, and apple filling. You have to come early as they sellout fast. Forget the other donut competitors, these are the best in town! Oh, and their red chile tamales are delicious too. Thank you! read more
