I can't even comment on the food because we never got the opportunity to try it. My cousin recommended Borracho Tacos for our wedding because she's used them for two parties at her home and said the food was good. So after consulting with my fiance, looking over the menu and pricing, getting his jobs approval to leave work early, and arranging for a babysitter, we booked a tasting for this past Sunday. I spoke with with Anna via e-mail, Tanya and Ashley on the phone. All 3 ladies were very nice, and answered all my questions so they get a star. BUT when we arrived for our 6pm tasting, we were greeted by locked doors and dark windows. I called once with no answer. We walked around thinking, maybe there's another entrance. Nope. I called again and as I was leaving a voicemail, a text message popped up on my phone stating "Sorry we had an unexpected family emergency". Ok. I get that. But it felt more like an "Oh sh!t we forgot we booked a tasting and now I'm making an excuse". Needless to say I was pissed. I took it as a reflection of their overall business and did not want to risk them not showing up to our wedding as it appears they've done in the past with some of these reviews I've just noticed. read more

This review is late but I was just telling someone about the great Taco service we had from Borracho Tacos back in August. It was sooooo good 2mo's later I'm still talking about! Not to mention they're very professional. The park I was having my party at tried telling me I could t have Borracho Tacos cater and should pick someone else, all over an insurance issue which ended up not even being an issue. The park hadn't done their part but all I had to do was call Borracho Tacos explained the issue and they took care of it all! Tanya saved the day! I have had this company do the cooking for my Halloween party for several years now. Just book them again for this Halloween. They are fantastic. The crew they send is happy and easy to work with. The tacos were excellent, I got nothing but compliments from all them I guess. There is plenty of food! I booked Borracho tacos for my husband's bday party on 4th of July. 50 people... and in spite of a confirmation email the morning of the 4th, stating they'd be there at 1pm... they never showed. I called at 1:30 asking where they were, and if they were running late, no problem, just let me know, i wanted to make sure they were still coming... or if I needed to resort to plan B? The woman who answered said she'd check and call me back. 30 mins later, no call back... I tried calling again after that and it went straight to voicemail. No one ever called me or emailed me back, and they sent me straight to voicemail each time I called. The least professional behavior I have ever dealt with, DON'T book these people, they will quite literally ruin your party. read more

I used to work with BT services, both in-office and Cooking at events, and even now as I am not with the company, I often think about and crave Borracho tacos. I promise I am not being biased in regards to my review- This is solely based on the quality of food and the superb customer service that I experienced today. My company was finally open to having a little something catered for a thanksgiving celebration- as our usual holiday festivities only pertain to Xmas. They were open with whom I would choose regarding menu options and BT popped into my head. I immediately contacted tonya, and got us entered into the calendar for today! (please note my boss switched the date up on me, and tonya was quick to accommodate) I originally asked the owner to come down and cook as I know Chris makes exceptional tacos, but was glad to see a familiar face. Gorge arrived on time and catered my event, Not only have I worked closely with him(back in the days) and know his work ethic, I appreciated his satisfactory customer service and delicious tacos!
