This was my first time at this Puertorican restaurant. I asked some Puertorican friends if they had…read moreit, and they said no, but suggested for me to try and share my opinion. The restaurant is small but has a few tables. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, I ordered the Tripleta Sandwich to go. It was one of the best, tastiest sandwiches I had in years. Highly recommended. Can't wait to come back.

Wow!! Was craving a Cuban sandwich, and this place popped up a few miles down the road: authentic,…read morefamily-owned Puerto Rican sandwiches, pastries, and juice. Family-owned, very clean, with plenty of colorful decor. I felt right at home sharing this meal and chatting with the staff. We ordered 2 Cubans, the small size, 2 empanadas, beef and chicken, with fried plantains and a Tamarindo and Guava juice, followed by their homemade flan. The Cubans and empanadas were very flavorful. That pork was delicious, and the bread toasted nicely to crunch a tad. You know it's good when you gotta clean the mustard and pork juice out of your beard afterwards. The empanadas were fairly big, with a perfectly seared, crusty masa, so tasty. Plantains were big and crunchy, which we broke into half and savored every bite. We washed it all down with the homemade Tamarindo and Guava. The flan fell flat for us but didn't take away from the experience of the meal and flavors. Very rare to find a Cuban this good so close to home.

We love bringing the dogs, letting them enjoy some time outside, and then sitting out on the deck with empanadas. The empanadas are always so good--hot, flavorful, and perfect for a casual bite. The outdoor deck makes it even better, especially when you're out with the dogs. Such a fun, relaxed spot with great food. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Kinda odd, but you order on the back side where there's a large deck with chairs and fans. Lots of fans. We placed our order and sat inside, they only have 3 tables I think. Server brought us our drinks pretty quick. It took about 20 mins to get our food, but server said each empanada is hand made and they can only cook 6 at a time. Ok. No worries. When they arrive, they were hot and well worth the wait. Both were very flavorful. The owner's daughter, who was doing the cooking, stopped by and asked how things were. Told her great and I'd never had Puerto Rican empanadas, just Argentinian. She said AR empanadas are baked vs PR that are deep fried. And the fillings are somewhat different. Appreciated the info. Also had some fruity slushi that was a bit of a butt kicker. These are really good. If you've never had one, you gotta try them.
