Parking in the warehouse area was quite difficult but luckily I found a space. Once inside, the place was quite small but there is an additional dining room to the right. My husband and I sat at the sandwich bar area because the air conditioner was blowing cold. The ladies behind the counter took our order and although the food took a while, we did notice that they were packing up a large take out order and there were other dine in orders ahead of our which we didn't mind because we were in no hurry. Beverages are located in a cold storage cabinet but they also have traditional cuban coffee drinks and a fresh juicing machine of OJ. There were also some fresh baked goods on the bar area. Our sandwiches were served in a plastic basket with no included side but they had a few reasonable options. The Cuban sandwiches were packed full of pork, ham and cheese. They have a special garlic sauce that I used for some extra flavor which was also used on their plated dishes and the daily special. The food was fresh and so delicious and very good value for the large portion size.

The music was low, so it was not overbearing and the space was impeccable clean. Our food came out quickly and everything was as ordered. My daughter specifically complimented the black beans and asserted that they were "so silky". The coffee was strong with just a hint of bitterness, just to my liking, and my daughter's Café con Leche was as traditional as you can get. She loved it. The cuisine is Guatemalan, and I encourage everyone to try it because Mexican, Honduran, Guatemalan, Salvadoran, etc. are all different cuisines and should all be experienced. The tamal de elote (corn tamale) needed a little more sugar but also came with plenty of salty crema. Pupusas were on the larger size and with lots of fillings. I had the queso con loroco which came with some charred cheese on the sides of the pupusa. Also tried the beans and cheese and the chicharrón one. All were good. Pupusas usually tend to come out really hot, like third degree burns hot. These were perfect: hot but not burning hot. Place is clean and big. They have two adjacent locations.

Some weird spice that I can't place, almost like a BBQ? Placed my order for two steak tacos, which the menu said came as two fried corn tortilla shells. Asked to replace the refried beans with black beans which she agreed to. When it came, it came with double rice and no beans. The shells were soft flour. I said the menu said they were crispy and she said we only do crispy for the ground beef. Would have been helpful to know upfront as I'm not a soft taco gal! They did not offer any solutions. The rice was very average. The steak was all very chewy like it had a line of fat in every piece. It was extremely salty. My small side of guac at MP was $6- too watery/limey. My husband got the platter - he said the enchilada was good, the other two were not with low quality seeming meats. So as you can see...won't be back!
