Delicious!

I originally gave Patty's a 1 star review. I based my entire review off the place not being open during the posted Yelp hours as well as it being in a gas station that was small and not the tidiest place. I was called out by a fellow yelper and thought I needed to give it a 2nd try. I drove over with a colleague and since I didn't have much time i ordered a beef empanada and a ham and cheese croquet. Both of these are listed as appetizers on the menu, but we found it filling enough. Not only was Patty (I'm assuming that's her name) extremely nice, the food was outstanding. The empanadas were huge and packed with beef. Many others I've tried are overshadowed with too much dough and not enough filling. This was not the case. The outside was perfectly fried and the inside was moist and full of flavor. She gave me some hot sauce that really went well with the dish. I thought it would be some generic red colored hot sauce from a bottle but in this case it was green and had a rich flavor to it. Not to spicy but just enough kick. I'm bringing my wife in this week to try it out! I'm glad I was called out and I had another go at it, because I've been thinking about that damn empanada all day!

Can't believe I've been missing out on this food for so long!!!! Called ahead for a streak sandwich and fries. The fries are ok... but the sandwich is huge. The flavor of the steak is incredible. The green sauce they give you on the side is so fresh and makes a perfect addition to the sandwich. Plenty of food for just $5.99. Soo impressed with the freshness and portion size. Keep in mind.. This is a window to pick up food inside a Sunoco gas station. Can't wait to go back and try the breakfast.

Items to get!!!! Breakfast: bacon and sausage sandwich / hash brown/ green hot sauce. And don't forget the Cuban coffee!! Lunch: Fried pork chops/ rice/beans On Tuesday they have a special, fried beef/rice/beans. You can't go wrong with beef and chicken empanadas, they are home made!!! Patty and cook are awesome people! I've been asking them when they are opening up a restaurant lol. I would definitely go when that time comes. Tip: call ahead on lunch time.

I already ate the other half lol. So good. Pork sandwich with cheese. Snd they give the best homemade sauces with it

Finally went today!! What have I been missing all these years. Taco Tuesday $3 tacos if you want shrimp or fish $4. Margaritas - looked like a fish bowl $5 ! Delicious !!! Brissa our waitress was wonderful very attentive, friendly & welcoming. There was an older gentlemen - I didn't get his name. He was extremely nice, kept coming by to see if all was okay & collected our empty margarita glasses. We ordered the carnitas, chorizo & steak tacos. 6 in total & filling. All delicious especially that they make their own tortillas! Now let's discuss the salsa. Can you make the salsa bowls slightly bigger. Or less chips because the salsa finishes & you have plenty of chips leftover. I didn't want to keep paying for salsa just to finish the chips. I will definitely be visiting again and bringing some friends!

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. I ordered two horchatas to go, a carnitas burrito, a breakfast burrito, and a bean and cheese pupusa with beans for my little one. Everything was packed to go, and my total came to $48 and some change, which I thought was a great price for everything we ordered. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that they forgot to include the sour cream with my order. Other than that, everything was great! The environment was friendly, the place was clean, and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be returning to try more from the menu.

From the outside, the building looks a little run down but once inside you could never tell. We ordered the Super Antojitos Atlakat. When I arrived, I was surprised they had more tables than I was expecting. There wasn't a wait, but it was full. They also have counter seating with a tv if you're into that. I ordered pupusas "revueltas." For those who might not know, a pupusa is a traditional Salvadoran dish made from thick corn tortilla stuffed with a mixture of ingredients. "Revueltas" or "mixed/scrambled" which I ordered is a combo of beans, cheese and pork mixture which is blended and filled inside the pupusa. It's served with a type of cabbage salad and tomato sauce. So good. I also ordered a tamale which was delicious as well. This is my go-to place when I'm looking for Salvadoran. Try it!

I left this place absolutely stuffed and incredibly satisfied. Excellent service. It's clear this business has pride in themselves. I got the salpequeno steak, seafood soup, and pupusas. It's one of those places where you feel like you're getting real value for your money. The enchiladas are my favorite. The hot sauce is so good on the food too. Sometimes, the wait is long but it's always worth it. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with fun music, TVs playing, and the staff has always been friendly and attentive whenever I've eaten there. Where they lose a star is the wait times (sometimes wait for a reallly long time) and the consistency of freshness... sometimes the food is outstanding, and sometimes it tastes old and rotten. (Like the cucumber, tomatoes or avocado toppings). My mom had a severe allergic reaction last time we ate there. Still, I like to come back because it's that good when it is good.
