Excellent tacos (tried the steak taco and the birria) and very friendly staff. Will be back!

It's consistently very good, even though we often trek from our hometown to Bristol, Newport, or Providence for dining. Portsmouth has slim pickings when it comes to quality restaurants--15 Point and Fieldstone's only come to mind. Rocco's used to be on that list, but new ownership makes it a bit of a question mark right now. This place always delivers: a solid menu with a strong emphasis on seafood, a long cocktail list with prices still reasonable for the area ($12-$14), and reliably good service. Portions are generous and the food is consistently well prepared. We split the bacon-wrapped scallops to start, then had duck and a seafood pasta for entrées--both excellent. Highly recommended. And when the weather cooperates, the outdoor dining right on the water is a real bonus.

My cousin & I treated ourselves to a special Newport Restaurant Week dinner at 15 Point Restaurant…read morelast night. For $45 each, we got a delicious 3-course dinner. Our reservation was early enough that we were able to enjoy the gorgeous water views for a little while before the sun set completely. Both the food and service were superb. We each ordered a glass of wine (Relax Riesling for me). We were first served warm, crusty bread and olive oil with roasted garlic cloves. Our appetizers arrived shortly thereafter; we had both ordered the phyllo wrapped baked Brie served with crostini and a dollop of jam. So good and such a large portion that we each brought half home. Again, we each ordered the same for our entrees: a baked half lobster with seafood stuffing, served with a baked sweet potato and asparagus. Despite the amount of food it was so delectable we finished all of it. Dessert was where we differed. My cousin had the Key Lime pie; I had the Beignets, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They weren't true Beignets, more like small cinnamon sugar donuts, but absolutely yummy. Needless to say, we left the restaurant totally sated. We're looking forward to returning in the summer so we can enjoy a meal on their patio overlooking the water. Highly recommended!

I sat at the bar and ordered a spicy margarita with Ghost Tequila, jalapeños, and a tajín rim. I also got the chips and salsa. The drink was excellent. The bartender nailed it. Good balance, right amount of heat, and well made. She was also great to talk to and made the experience even better. The chips and salsa were solid. The chips were fresh and the salsa had good flavor and seasoning. Good first stop. I will be back to try dinner and give a more in depth review.

Morgan is also not a latin name so maybe we should have known? It's actually very nice, upscale for sure. I can see this as a nice little date night spot for drinks (only). But on a Friday night at 8pm it was pretty dead. Although it is the holiday season so could just be the night. The margaritas were okay, got a spicy marg and it really was just okay. The drinks that Josh the bar back made were great. He was super friendly and made some off menu creative drinks, and those were much better than the menu items. Definitely should put his stuff on special at least. The reason I give 2 starts only is the food. Now, obviously you are paying for the decor, ambiance, etc. but it's Fall River. These are the prices I see up by me in Providence. However it's providence and it is accompanied by great food. The food here was anything but great. As Latin people we truly love Mexican food and this didn't have anything authentic except the names of the menu items. Example, tacos that come with rice and beans, but the $27 fajitas do not. Instead they come with an entire bag of grocery store bagged shredded cheese and lettuce. Had to send the steak back bcs it was extremely well done. While I do like rare steak, I was not asked how I wanted it cooked, therefore assumed it would be medium like most steak fajitas. Truly well done to the point it could not be chewed. While it did come back cooked to my liking, there was simply no flavor whatsoever. The tortillas were nothing more than store bought Mission flour tortillas that were cold and dry again taken right out of the bag and thrown onto a plate. Big disappointment here.

I went with the ahi tuna platter, which was set up almost like a charcuterie board, and it was excellent. Also grabbed a clam chowder, because... New England, and it did not disappoint. Caught the fourth quarter of the game, and the place had a great vibe. Crowd was lively, staff was friendly, and everything was clean and comfortable. If I end up back in that area again, I'll make sure to swing by a little earlier so I can check out the full menu. Solid spot all around.

The drink menu was not very extensive. Our Asian salad cups appetizer tasted exactly like an Asian salad mix I've bought at the grocery store and looked like it too - I'm convinced that's exactly how they prepared this. My veggie burger had burnt edges and wasn't too enjoyable flavor-wise. It didn't help my overall impression that when I got takeout here another time, they totally butchered my boyfriend's name when we ordered over the phone, and we had a hard time picking up our order because of this (how you get "Stephanie" from "Anthony," I just really don't know). I think this place just gets lucky having a good location across from Independence Park and being close to but just out of the way from downtown. Can't say I was impressed by the food - there are too many other good options in Bristol, I just can't say I'd recommend this to others. Perhaps it's improved since I visited, but it's a pass for me based on experiences I've had.
