On a lazy weekday, I was in the area and craving some KFC. So this review is about the food more than the service which was amazing and super friendly. I got the real garlic, expecting Dracula level garlic but it is more of a sweet sticky garlic. It was tasty but targeted to people with a sweeter taste and would benefit with some salt. The other half of yangyum (medium) was more delicious and has apple jam in. It was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The fry isn't the classic double fry for extra crispiness but still a good lunch. The only thing is that I ordered wings (+1), but there were drumsticks. If I'm paying extra, I want ALL wings.

Came here solo after lifting at the gym looking for a basic protein meal - good thing I came across this place to try! The minute you walk in, the decor is simple, but ambiance is perfect for solo time or a casual date night. Staff was friendly, quick with service. Definitely a hole in the wall. Granted I was the only one eating at the bar - but nonetheless service was quick. I got the chicken bowl: 4 piece boneless and 2 piece vegetable potstickers. The portion was definitely more than enough, the kimchi fried rice was on point - the chicken could have been more saucy, but the soy garlic flavor itself was good enough. Needless to say, im satisfied and will be coming back! (Next to try the cutlet with curry) which was also highly recommended. (Did i mention they're also right next to Iscream? )

1st of all, spicy means Spicy! You've been warned! Lol Cute little establishment with a variety of Korean food fare ranging from kimbop, ramen, fried chicken, and more! Lots of delicious food that hits the spot. The ramen broth was perfect...not too salty. The chicken was crisped to perfection. Service was fast. They bring you a big bottle of water along with some small plates, utensils, and metal cups. They accommodated a special order for my besties little son.

Call in to order take out. The person taking my order was friendly and helpful. I ordered 20 pieces of chicken wings got three different flavors. I enjoyed all 3 flavors soy garlic, mustard and the garlic butter wasn't as crispy as the others. Should have got the sauce on the side. Will definitely try again when I'm craving chicken wings! The orders come with tasty salad and my favorite pickled turnips! Yummy

Among the Korean restaurants on Solano, I really enjoyed bop shop! The service was fantastic! We strolled in at 9:10 pm, when they close at 10 and the waiter was so kind and accommodated us. The food came out with great speed and the portions were generous and fresh. The chicken was crispy and delicious, I just wish it had a little more sauce. I do also wish the dishes came with banchan but the entrees are more affordable than the other korean restaurants on Solano. I definitely will come back to try out the other options.

Always love coming to this place it's a great vibe, friendly staff, and great food. Would recommend. And in light of all of the fast food price hikes they remain steady, I only see about a $1 price change compared to last year whereas some place have gone up $3-$4 on the menu items. Way to go BopShop!

I ordered ahead for sweet potato fries for pickup here. The fries were good, though didn't particularly stand out; the price was okay given typical prices nowadays for it, but still would've liked a larger portion of it or for it to be a little crispier and more flavorful. This shop mainly features fried chicken, but has a handful of sides available.

Due to the pandemic, I will be removing criteria that I had added to my reviews: restaurant ambiance and mood, staff, wait time, etc. This review will only focus on the dish. Quick Summary: - Fried chicken was beyond my expectations - Each dish had a well-balanced flavor, no flavors were overpowering the other - Light to the stomach but very content to the end - Side dishes are complimentary with fried chicken, but you will need to pay extra for the kimchi side. I opened this site on my browser and looked at the home page and the weekly recommendations, and this was in the list. The promoted image was the reason I clicked on it: it was the picture of their crunch fried chicken. Just looking at the picture I can almost hear the loud and airy crunch of the fried crust. "Soggy" was nonexistent on that crust surface. It was a beautiful fried chicken and I haven't seen a picture convey so many words. Anyways, that one picture got me like, "I am craving for fried chicken," so I ordered by delivery. When I viewed their menu I was pleasantly surprised to see that they also had udon. I was very curious on the difference between crunch and crispy. Their names are similar, but there had to be a reason for the names. I can already tell the fried chicken with the name "crunch" will be the dish that attracted my attention, so I ordered this one. I'll try the crispy option at a later visit. What I ordered for dinner was the crunch fried chicken (half combo), the veggie rice roll with the purple rice, the veggie udon (medium spiciness), and the Jhap Chae with the beef bulgogi option. I was preparing myself for the expected that delivery can cause dishes to become soggier due to the steam from the other warm dishes. However, to my surprise and glee, that didn't happen. When I opened the box, the crunch fried chicken was still crunchy looking. It arrived just like the photo, so couldn't help myself by taking an extra photo too. First thing I'll say, I'll definitely order here again. I've been trying out Korean dishes ,but each dish here stood out as a couple of notches more delicious. There was flavor in the first bite and different flavors remained. Also, there were so many flavors, salty, sweet, umami, sour, yet they balanced in harmony. Sweet is one flavor that often stands out in Korean dishes, sometimes comes out as too strong, but this place handled it well. I really liked the noodles in the Jhap Chae. It was a springy, soft, and chewy noodle. It was a fun texture to eat and it went well with the vegetables (there was a vegetable crunch and one bite can cut them instead of having a couple of chews to get the noodle down). The beef option was so good too. It was tender that I didn't need to bite down at all. I'm a beef person, so I recommend having the bulgogi option on the Jhap Chae. I also loved the udon noodle soup. I ordered the medium flavor and it wasn't spicy - which is good because I have a low spice tolerance. The spice added a sour like flavor to the soup that made it pop. The udon noodles were chewy and perfect. A little sad note, but this is to be expected with delivery, is that the egg was cooked thoroughly when I tried to break it. If I was eating this at the store, the yolk would've leaked, and the soup would've been creamy. Still good though and I would order this again (and also try the miso option too). The rice rolls were a good side dish, if one prefers to have a lighter side with the fried chicken. The vegetables were crispy and weren't just raw, it was seasoned with something that didn't produce that "freshly picked from the dirt" taste. I noticed the difference with the carrot. It didn't taste like a root. The rolls didn't need soy sauce because the filling had flavor. This dish had protein options, but I was fairly pleased with the original veggie. Finally, the fried chicken. This was beyond my expectations. I can see why this fried chicken is called "crunch" The moment I bit into it, it made a satisfying crunch noise. This noise was exactly what I wanted to hear. The meat was juicy and I was able to taste the flavor even until I reached the bone. There was no moment of me stopping because the chicken meat had no flavor or too bland (sad story with some fried chicken I had in the past). The crust itself wasn't salty at all. I wish there was a dish that I can just eat the crunchy crust, that was how good it was. It was light and airy, just as how I imagined it. It made my day. It was like I found the one: Yes, THIS is the fried chicken I was looking for! In all, I was VERY happy to have discovered this restaurant, and I hope to visit in person to try out.

Bopshop is my go-to for a vegan bibimbap - best price by far in Berkeley/Oakland (on my bus lines at least). Service is always friendly and considerate, the food is fresh, and the ambiance is chill and nice for reading alone of having a conversation with a friend. Good portions (I get mine with lettuce base and a side of rice, and it makes 2 meals for me). Excellent spoons that are typical of Korean joints. I like that they don't do delivery because the space and vibe is nicer without doordashers going in and out all the time.

** The following review reflects my dining experience prior to the shelter-in-place order currently in effect. ** I believe this Solano Avenue spot is still open for business, which is a good and brave thing. I finally tried this Korean fast food bowl spot just before the shelter-in-place order took effect, and I'm glad I did because the $8 Veggie Jap Chae was a winner for a quick and hot pick-me-up for a late Sunday lunch. The mix of spinach, bean sprouts, and shredded cabbage & carrots with the soy-marinated glass noodles really worked well on a brisk afternoon (photo: https://bit.ly/3cuOM0e). Even though they offered meat and tofu add-ons, I was fine with my jap chae straight up. I'll definitely be back during these dark days of COVID-19 because it's a quick, portable meal that's piping hot and pretty tasty. After our group walk, we ventured to Solano Ave. for some lunch. Our coordinator gave us a couple of choice, but we opted for Bopshop Korean since it was right in front of us as we hit Solano Ave and we were hungry. We checked out the menu on the window which had bibimbops, teriyaki and poke bowls, Korean items and lunch specials and Vons fried chicken. I checked out the Yelp page, but it appears that Vons Fried Chicken is now part of Bopshop Korean. There are a couple of table of tables for two inside, but we sat at the Peet's table outside since a couple of us got drinks from Peet's. After seeing the Yelp picture of the tonkatsu plate, I decided to order it. The food was ready within ten minutes. Hmmm....my order didn't look like the Yelp pic. The tonkatsu was about one-third smaller and the order came with white rice instead of multi-grain purple rice. The pork was good but the cutlet was on the thin side. My friends who ordered the Vons fried chicken thought it was good but not as good as our favorite Korean Fried Chicken place a little north of here. It appears that the concept and menu has changed here. From mainly bibimbop and teriyaki bowls to a more limited bowl and Korean offerings with Vons Chicken. It's a decent choice for a quick meal, but it's on the pricey.

The salmon poke was very fishy. I hope I don't get food poisoning from bad fish which is my main reason for 1 star. The garlic fried chicken was soggy. I rather have Popeye's. Looks like Tmoney N's experience wasn't an isolated one. read more

Might have been the best fried chicken I ever had. The Soy Garlic, Honey Butter, and Sweet cheddar....omg so good. The people are so friendly and I like the little corner table with the pillow. Pretty cool place. I'll be coming back. read more

Ordered the "rice cakes" through Uber eats. The rice cakes came completely frozen. I have had this dish many times. It's supposed to be soft and chewy. It seems they completely forgot to cook this and just tossed the frozen pieces into the container. I contacted Uber eats and they couldn't do anything but offer to forward message to this shop. I contacted the shop to let them know and they promised to do better but there's nothing else they could do. So in the end, I'm out of money, time and no lunch. It is crazy to think that the kitchen didn't even prepare the food properly. Hopefully this is just one isolated and rare incident. read more

Von's KFC or American KFC, which is better? The correct answer is Von's KFC. Chicken was crispy, as advertised, full of flavor, tender and the right amount of spices. I also tried the poke bowl with half glass noodles and greens. The bowl came with tuna, salmon, avocado, crab salad, seaweed salad, radish, edamame and pineapple....sooo good. read more

It's a great neighborhood secret. Lots of variety not just bimbimbop They got boo, poke bowls and teriyaki bowls. Also salad. Variety and buildable bowls to your liking. Cool variety of beers and beverages from Asia as well. Very fresh greens and fish. Had to edit this now BECAUSE this is the third time in the last few weeks that I order a $12 poke bowl and it brings less than 7 little pieces of fish and tons of greens etc. I even told the order taker the manager over the phone. read more

I tried this place on a whim while walking past it. I ordered the fried half chicken. It was delicious! Crunchy on the outside (and stayed that way for a good time) and juicy on the inside. The person in there suggested that I try the spicy version and she was spot on. This was good fried chicken after a series of disappointing ones. I'm glad I tried it and so will you. read more

I've ordered from here quite a few times and was mostly satisfied. Last night I ordered Kimchi Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken bowls. I started eating the Teriyaki bowl and was I ever disappointed. The usual tasty moist chicken was not there. Instead, I got these overcooked, dry, tasteless pieces of chicken that were obviously old and hard and NOT fresh, as if someone had them laying out for a few days. The chicken was more like chicken jerky!! Not a good sign. When I dug to the bottom, I discovered wet, soggy purple rice. It was like mushy oatmeal, not fluffy rice, yet another disappointment. You couldn't even tell it WAS rice. This was pretty disgusting and I'm hoping the Kimchi rice won't be bad. I don't believe in restaurants having "bad nights." Food should be consistent, no matter which employee prepares it. Continuity is what makes me return to food establishments. Employees should know not to serve sub par food. Just tell me you're out of items instead of serving me this old, funky chicken. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this Solano staple. It's hard to find a heathy, filling meal under $15. This is a great cheap eat for the area. The works is a very large and filling option with a good amount of veggies and many protein choices. Really the options to customize are endless. Different bowl bases for the low carb parties as well. The teriyaki bowl was smaller than the works but was pleasing to the younger household crowd. My husband really enjoyed the fried chicken. Hes looking forward to trying a different type of the fried chicken. Honey butter fries sound good, but not to our taste. Super sweet and very pricy for fries. I will definitely be back and will explore other options! I also wish there was an online ordering platform, but that's just my preferred ordering method these days. Great customer service too. read more

Great concept of a quick grab n' go Korean food place ! I had such a pleasant dinner here at Bopshop due to the delicious food, quick preparation, and friendly staff ! With the same owners of Bowld and Spoond, Bopsbop also has the same tasty ingredients, but the only difference is that this isnt your typical sit-n-dine restaurant, but more of a take-out place ! Of course you can dine-in, but you also have the option of just grabbing your meal and continuing on your way. My friend & I both enjoyed our beef bibimbaps ! The rice & meat were served warm and the vegetables on top cold. You can either mix them all up or pick at the different ingredients separately. The meat was really soft and delicious even without the red sauce thats added to bibimbap ! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE WINGS !! MmMmMm they were crisp to perfection - I wish I had ordered more !! $5 for 5 pieces ! The chicken was super crunchy on the outside and juicy in the middle ! The sauce wasnt overpowering either which I really appreciate because I'm not trying to just drink the sauce, you know ?! I got the garlic wings and I cant wait to try the other flavors ! Super recommend giving Bopshop a visit if you are craving some quick Korean food ! I wonder if they'll be expanding their menu because they just recently opened - lets hope so ! BLUF: Great chicken with fantastic flavor. Will go back! Food: A- I have been searching far and wide that can come close to imitating the flavor of Korean fried chicken that they have in South Korea. And I am happy to announce this is one of those places. Each bite of the honey butter chicken and panchak chicken were heavenly and I yearned for more. Needless to say I was reslly disappointed when I ran out of my half order of each. Parking: C This restaurant is on Solano do be prepared to look for side street parking if the ones out front are filled (90% of the time they are, regardless of time of day). Price: B Based on the quality of chicken, I'd say they were higher than expected, but given COVID times and the fact their chicken is amazing, I'd say the price matches the cost. Overall: A- Had a great first experience and will ultimately go back whenever my taste buds are in the mood for some Korean fried chicken, which will now appear to be more frequent. read more

I understand that as a small business it must be hard to stay open during a pandemic. But I don't think it excuses bad food. And that's what we had here. We ordered the dumplings, the yangnyeom and padak sauces for our fried chicken. The yangnyeom was a really unpleasant ketchup and gochujang sauce that was mostly ketchup. The padak sauce was just goopy honey mustard. Topped with thickly sliced smoky green onions. I didn't know that fried chicken could be bad, but this meal proved me wrong. The daikon pickle it was served with was decent. Sweet, and slightly acidic and crunchy. The coleslaw was gross. It was just sliced cabbage that tasted like minute maid lemonade. Dumplings were fried and yummy. Sauce was good too. read more

The bopshop is a great little spot on the top of Solano offering some great Korean flavors. They have a simple menu that is easy to navigate and is mostly to-go. A bowl of rice, veggies and meat. Can it get better? My favorite here is the spicy pork teryaki bowl. The last time I added the kimchi fried rice which was great. All the flavors was good and the price was decent. Great sized portions as well! Also tried the chicken wings and they were big and juicy. Yummy if you're in the mood for it. I would recommend this place if you just want to grab something for lunch or dinner. Good flavors and great mix of meat, veggies and rice. Yumyumyum. read more

Bopshop is an part of the Bow'd food group. this spot is quick service, serves no banchan with entrees, has just a few tables for dining in. offerings: japchae, wraps, buns, poke/teriyaki/bibambap bowls, latter 2 has create ur own options, etc. eats: japchae (7) -vegeterian with vermicelli noodles, heavy use of sesame oil, thus tasty -proteins add ons, $2-$3. 3.5 stars banchan: -full service Bow'd a few blocks over with bigger menu. read more

Oh have I not written a review yet? Amazing chicken here, I go for the Crispy Chicken with Garlic Sauce (boneless). A half-order is huge and enough to share with 2-3 people. The chicken is always moist, the skin is crispy, and I love the pickles that come on the side. Also had a pretty decent poke bowl here with a nice variety of toppings. It tasted fresh and I had about half leftover. read more

I have one BIG obsession. I ordered vegetarian and beef potstickers, and they were exactly the same! So I didn't eat any. the second time I ordered just veg potstickers and it was the same again! Just incase, I left them to my mang. Anyway, I get bibimbops here I don't know anything about the chicken although it smells freaking good. Being a not meat eater, and deciding to eat healthier, The Works bowl with purple rice and tofu is super flavorful and satisfying. I'm a weirdo read more

Great place to get Korean food to go/ for quick lunch! They serve bibimbap, poke and several other dishes. The food was not very authentic but definitely well localized. I enjoyed my food, the works bibimbap bowl with spicy pork belly. My friend got the kimchi fried rice, which was a bit disappointing since we saw very little kimchi and was on the salty side. Also, just to let you know, this place seems somehow related to The Spoon in Emeryville and the food tastes about the same at both places. I think Spoon offers more variety of menus and gives more dine-in experience. The service was nice, the cashier was able to explain in details the prices and ingredients! Also, the interior design is really clean and nice :) Tbh, I would go here to grab the $6 bibimbap toppings, go home, get rice and mix them together for a nice, economical lunch/ dinner :D read more

I stopped in this place after getting my nails done down the street. The two staff were preparing a large take-out order and barely acknowledged me standing at the cash register. I waited about 5 minutes before one of them took my order. I *kinda* get it, but also think that with two staff, one can help customers who are actually in the restaurant. Side note: There were only 2 people eating in the restaurant... but it was a rainy evening. So no warm and fuzzy welcome. Oh well. The place is clean, inviting, and the menu is good. They even have tasty looking snacks you can buy for your dog (unfortunately, I don't have one). I ordered the Works Bowl with purple rice (mixed grain) and bulgogi. I also ordered a side of wakame salad. The food is why I'm giving this place 4 stars. There were tons of veggies and a hard-boiled egg in the bowl and I loved the purple rice. As noted in other reviews, they do not serve banchan :( Anyhow, I'm a sucker for good service so if they hire friendlier staff, I would definitely raise my rating to 5 stars. read more

Came here to get a late lunch and ima be honest, the prices are kinda steep. I ordered the beef kimbop and that's 8 bucks. It comes with ten pieces which is good, but the roll falls apart easily. It can make a mess if you aren't an expert in using chopsticks. Presentation was nice! It was soo colorful! And it tastes pretty good. I appreciate that they have purple rice as an option. The place is pretty nice and clean and the interior is small. The service was pretty quick, had my kimbop in 5 min. Overall, I would be down to go here if I SERIOUSLY need a quick meal. But the prices kind of make me hesitate. read more

Found my KFC go-to place while I'm in town for work. My favorite are the drumsticks in Crispy Spicy. Chicken is good and flavorful. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they gave me 9 drumsticks instead of 10 (happened once in the 3 times I've been there). read more

If you're looking for traditional korean food, then definitely do not come here unless you like to be disappointed! However if you are looking for more of korean american fusion then this is a solid place to check out! The menu is pretty simple with just a couple options: bibimbap, teriyaki, sushi bowl, and side orders. We ordered the bulgogi bibimbap and soy fried chicken wings. Why I mentioned this is more of korean american fusion is that in the bibimbap there were ingredients that are not typically included like quinoa, and kale. I thought it worked and tasted good, but it is definitely not a typical bibimbap! I also thought the portion for $9 was pretty good, so come hungry or share with a friend! As for the fried chicken, the flavor was standard for soy wings, but I had a bit of issue with the fry of the chicken. The fried parts did not really stay on to the chicken and was just not very crispy. (Maybe they should try double frying like bon chon?) Aside from that, the chicken was very juicy, meaty and definitely was freshly fried. Not sure I would order this again, but I would definitely come back for the fusion bibimbap! read more

Ordered via delivery on UberEats. I was curious how it would arrive given the separation of cold and hot but it worked! The food came in a special bowl that separated the top and bottom. The first time I've had legit Korean fried chicken. Light, crispy breading (not greasy at all) with juicy chicken on the inside. The yangyeom was also delicious, super tangy and savory flavors. I'd recommend boneless for the best experience. read more

Well, something changed. BopShop was the best place to get Korean-style fried chicken. I mean it was SO good. But now? Maybe they got a new cook, or who knows what. But now instead of crunchy, delicious, straight-up addictive fried chicken, you get sad little wings with nearly nothing on them. Tiny, barely any meat, no batter to speak of, almost no sauce. So disappointing. This used to be one of my favorite places, now I have given up on them. I still have two stars instead of one because some other things are okay, but it was such a crushing disappointment to see how far the quality had fallen. The last meal I ordered has gone in the trash, it wasn't even worth eating it. So sad. read more

I'm a Cancer/Leo cusp with a Gemini moon and that means I have a problem making decisions. Bobshop is the perfect kind of place for an eater like me because there are no less than 10 different kinds of tastes in my mouth at once. Like other reviewers mentioned, a quiet talking younger attendant worked the counter and kitchen. However as soon as I began my order an older gentleman (the owner?) materialized and took over my order. He was very friendly as he explained the ordering system and different options available. I decided on the Bibimbop (beef) bowl with kimchi fried rice to go, sans egg. My order was ready and correct within five minutes. I ate the food a full 30 minutes after receiving it and it was still amazing. The beef was super tender and all of the traditional Korean accoutrements mixed in nicely. I paid extra for kimchi fried rice and it was so worth it. All in all I got a $12 lunch with very fair portions of vegetables, rice and meat. Everything was flavorful but not very spicy but no worries a nice big container of siracha comes in the top vegetable compartment. I'm a designer and I still cannot get over how amazing the to go packaging was, by the way. It's a double layered large bowl system that encourages saving leftovers. It was disappointing, overcooked hard dry and tasteless chicken. Rice cake was also very old and hard and tasteless. Prolly had been frozen for a long time that it cant get soft anymore and has cracks. It was really bad. Maybe it was a bad day for chicken, but please don't order rice cakes read more

Menu looks great but the food is very meh and ingredients barely Korean. Bowls had uncooked kale in place of what should have been garlicky wilted spinach with sesame seeds. Sprouts were similarly sad and lacking in flavor. Bulgogi was grayish and again zero flavor. Had to add kimchi from our fridge to give it a kick. Canned corn in the Poke bowl was bland. Very mediocre food. Nice people and a cute shop, but we won't be back. read more

Ok so my dad and I tried their half chicken gochujang marinated with onion rings, along with their pickled radish and cole slaw. We got them delivered. Mind you we are Korean and have some experience with Korean chicken. Everything was pretty good but one advice to the owners - is there a way you can make the chicken pieces smaller? I knew something was different but my dad hit it right on the nail- the chicken drum sticks were too big lol. That sounds opposite right? Like it's a good thing? But my dad was like did they use hens or something or huge chickens? Lol. Other than that the sauce was on point and onion rings pretty good. read more

Stingy quantities in regard to steep up charges. We paid an extra $2 for a beef in the rice roll, but we would have been better off not doing so. The roll didn't hold up and ended up making a mess all over the table. The popcorn chicken quantity was also quite small for its cost. The food was an all around disappointment, and we won't be back. read more

I hardly ever write reviews but I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service. I placed a phone order for pick up with Chister already seemed to be some miscommunication. When I asked about the most popular chicken wing flavors he said crispy and soy garlic. I ordered full orders of both including side orders of japchae, kimchi fried rice, and fries. My mistake was not double checking my order. I dropped off the food to my husband and come to find out both the kimchi fried rice and japchae was missing. I also got full orders of crunch and crispy chicken not soy garlic. I called back to tell them their mistake and I was told that they can make up for the missing food on my next order. There will not a be a next time. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

Best Korean Fried Chicken that I've had in Berkeley - and I've tried the usual Bonchon, Pyeong Chang and Berkeley Social Club. Fried food during covid takeout times is tricky, but it's not an issue here. We phone in our order for pickup at the restaurant and when we eat about 20 minutes later, it's still warm and crunchy. For our 3-adult household, a full order is perfect - no leftovers. read more

I'm a really big fan of Bopshop. I always go here when I'm craving something healthy, but don't want to compromise on taste. I love that Bopshop delivers on both fronts. My all-time favorite menu item is their Bimbimbap bowl featuring warm Bulgogi beef atop purple multigrain rice. I love that the top layer of the bowl is filled with color-- the kale, bean sprouts, carrots, kimchi, mushrooms and other ingredients perfectly compliment the rice and meat. Make sure to add a generous amount of the red chili paste into your bowl to add a spicy, sweet, yet savory dimension to your bowl. Besides the bimbimbap bowls, I also recommend the Kimchi Burrito if your are REALLY hungry, and the Kimbap if you are craving a small snack. The portion sizes at this place are huge, and I can usually split my meal in two and save my leftovers for next day's lunch. I'm used to having to pay a premium to get healthy restaurant-cooked meals. However, Bopshop's menu is very reasonably priced, so even a poor, recent college-grad like me can eat like a queen. ^^ Lastly, shout out to Tony and SeungJun for being the nicest guys ever and making such great food. read more

I chose to sit on the back patio, which is absolutely delightful and made for a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience. We ended up having to pay the higher price because they said the menu just wasn't reflecting the latest prices. Fine, whatever. We both ordered chicken sandwiches and they were tasty. Also got fries for sides and some of them came out cold but we didn't think too much about it and we left feeling like we would return. However, on our second trip back - we once again ordered chicken sandwiches and also shrimp toast as an appetizer. One bite into the shrimp toast and the piece was very COLD...It wasn't fully cooked so we flagged it to them. They were very apologetic and happy to take it back to warm it up. But damn! PSA to diners here to check your food to make sure it's properly cooked here. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...well, I'm not sure I'll come back.

I understand if they couldn't do it for whatever reason, but we were just met with so much passive aggressiveness for asking. It made the mood very unpleasant. But honestly, I find it strange as most restaurants are pretty understanding of dietary restrictions and can make modifications to cater to their many costumers. I previously had their pad thai for takeout in 2024 and remember being very disappointed. That said, I would give it another try if dined in. This worked out fine for our group. The menu had various options and eye-catching beverages! My table ordered 3 versions of the Chu-Hi's. Quite pleasant. I liked my Meyer Lemon Hi, it came with half of a lemon which I freshly squeezed and poured into my drink. I thought that was very fun! The quality of each dish was cooked well. My favorites were the crab croquettes, chicken heart, one of the marinated skewers (I can't recall the name of it), gizzards, and the squid ink fried rice. I'm definitely curious to try the bacon-wrapped mochi at a future visit. The only downfall was that the kitchen was extremely backed up during our visit. It took well over what felt like 20-30 minutes from our 1st order to our 2nd Chef's Choice dish. That negatively impacted our experience, but it happens. I'd like to try Ippuku again and hope there will be less of a delay. Our server was nice & attentive, came around a few times to refill our water.

First let me just start out by saying This was my first time trying Korean Food. the Korean Kitchen comes to the rescue!! The food is authentic and delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent. The menu was pretty creative and extensive, but I opted to remain traditional and ordered the beef bulgogi bimbibap, which is pretty much just a bowl of steamed white rice on the bottom with bbq beef and an extensive array of veggies on top. This also included a fried egg which made the dish even more delicious! My other co-workers enjoyed the veggie bimbibap and the mackerel dish. We also ordered and shared the seafood pancake as an appetizer. All dishes did not disappoint and were quite generous for lunch. Prices of all dishes were pretty consistent with other Korean establishments in the area. read more

We love Korean and poke and eat out at least twice if not 3 times a week. We wanted to try this new place but were quite disappointed. The place is very quiet, too quiet. The portions are smaller than what we are used to getting and I at least left the place feeling hungry. The concept they were aiming at was a fast food take of Korean or poke but the prices are not fast food prices. Probably won't come back here again :-/ read more

My new favorite go to lunch spot. The fried kim chi wraps are perfect for a quick lunch option and is very filling. Luckily they automatically cut it in half for ease of eating and to save for later if needed. The marinated meats are all good as I've come to expect from the Bowl'd fam of eateries. read more
