How do I begin to describe the awesome-sauce that is Morning Crunch…read more......... Firstly this is an outdoor Boot Camp. When I heard outdoors, I imagined birds chirping in a sunny breezy park and what I got was a dark, damp, FREEZING park setting. But this was motivation because it was freezing I felt like I HAD to keep moving keep running keep exercising at all cost. Because I did the late March-Early April camp it was DARK at 6am due to daylight savings. And Yes I went MWF from 6am-715am which gave me plenty of time to shower and get ready for work. This boot camp is great because the instructors provide an outline for the exercises and you can go at your own pace. I loved this freedom because it gave me some flexibility too focus on my exercise goals. I didn't want to lose weight per se but I wanted to tone. So I cut back on the running and really focused on the shaping exercises Yea technically you can do all this stuff for free on your own but most people DON'T so I think it was worth every penny spent because it gave me the structure and motivation to get active. And Michael was a great motivator. He was very demanding and kept you moving from start to finish. After the five weeks I did notice my tummy was much more toned and my thighs had slimmed down. I was kinda mad I lost some ass meat but hey we all gotta sacrifice something for the greater good.

Considering I'm the first one to give Crunch Pasadena anything other than a 5 star rating, I'm…read moreDEFINITELY going against the grain here. But I gotta say, for the price you're paying, you could easily do it yourself. There's nothing they offer you, that you can't do on your own. For free. Lunges. Plank. Crunches. Jumping jacks. Did I miss something? It would be one thing if the instructor was more attentive and gave more guidance on best practices, posture and such, but I felt that was quite lacking too. Bottom line, not enough bang for your buck. I'll stick to the gym. - Desperately Seeking Exercise Motivation

Sure…read more However, there's a lot of other gyms in the area that are worth it in programming and atmosphere you get. In fact, there's one right across the street from this location I would recommend (I'll leave it up to you to Google it). If you're looking for the best classic style Crossfit gym, then definitely don't go here. This place is only but a shadow of its former self. Since the current owners unaffiliated the gym from the brand, the programming and membership has taken a sharp decline. They incorporated classes that resembled more of a base camp or something Hyrox adjacent. No one really cared about the brand of CrossFit, we cared for the workouts, and sadly those are long gone. Feedback that was given to the owners went ignored for too long and eventually it became too late. There's been a mass exodus of loyal and competitive members since then and the atmosphere just doesn't feel the same anymore. The demographic currently trends to an older age group and less competitive/advanced. Those aren't necessarily bad things but it might certainly might alter your preference.

ZERO. Their manager doesn't even care to address your issues or reach out. I even messaged the corporate, they punted it on the manager. And my problem? Unresolved. If you plan to use your session on last day of your billing (stealing) cycle, you lose that session. This happened to me twice with nobody caring to reach out despite my messages to the "support" (ignorance) system. To add more this place is filthy, sweat dripping marks all over the equipment, classes hot and not ventilated for the number of people in the room. Parking lot: shared between so many business, good luck with street parking!

I arrived just 1 minute past the grace period, and the front desk staff member immediately told me I had to reschedule -- in a manner that came across as unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. Looking back, there were already signs this studio was not well-organized. I was contacted multiple times to confirm my class -- I confirmed the first time, but still received additional calls, a voicemail, and another text. That level of follow-up felt excessive and unnecessary. On top of that: - The studio does not have its own parking lot, which makes arriving on time difficult. This was the reason I was 1 minute late. - I'm a frequent guest at Barry's Pasadena, Sanctuary Fitness, F45, and Lagree. None of them require a 30-minute early arrival for first-timers. The standard at other studios is a 15-minute check-in, and even then they are far more flexible. - When I arrived, the class before mine was still wrapping up, which makes me question what, realistically, I would have been shown if I had been exactly on time. I was genuinely looking forward to trying this class with my friend, but between the overly strict policy, disorganized communication, lack of parking, and the unfriendly welcome, this studio does not compare well to others in the area.

They have both morning & evening classes. When you're there, the coach will show you what to do in each station and monitor the class to make sure you're doing the stations/workouts correctly. Staffs here are extremely friendly & knowledgeable. I really like the vibes inside the gym and joined the membership after my kick-start trial is over. I like that. There was only one coach, and I had no partner. The signs were abbreviated and gave no hint as to what each station was about. And the coach doesn't care at all about who you are or what state your body is in. When you tell them you can't do a certain exercise properly due to chronic conditions, and you need time they make you feel like crap. Sometimes I waited at a station the whole time because I couldn't remember what I was supposed to do there, but by the time a coach is able to help, time's already up. Also, the people attending are rude. They were in the hallway talking smack about how they hate new people. Any motivated to go was drained and to didn't go back to finish my trial. Getting motivated to work out is hard enough without the toxic environment and lack of support.
