Most of the employees there just stand around and talk and act like they don't want to help you. No enthusiasm. Unwelcoming environment.

When in for a pair of men's boots - not greeted as I came in, not asked if I could be helped, I asked an employee for help he said when he was done with current customer, after 46 minutes I went to the register up front & asked for help gal said the same employee I had asked for help would help me but he was with a customer and said I would need to wait. I went into this store once in order to look for a white button up my husband needed for a wedding. While they do have a nice selection (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) not one employee even acknowledged my existence in the store or offered any kind of help. It rubbed me the wrong way, but didn't completely deter me. We ended up going to another location (because of convenience) a few days later and bought the items we were looking for. Now...fast forward to after the wedding..I didn't end up needing the jacket I bough so I tried to return it to this particular location. The hours say 9am-9pm. Cool. I pulled up at 8:55 am because I was already in the area. I walk up to the door at 9:05ish and it's not unlocked yet..okay fine. 9:10...still not unlocked. Great selection, clean store, you'll find something to spend your hard earned money on. The customer service was great.. right up until me and my mom were checking out. As I was about to pay an employee engaged in conversation with the cashier behind the counter. I didn't care about that, have your conversation and move on. But this young lady decided to whip her finger in front of my face, in between me and my mom and pointing at something behind the cashier. Honestly the rudest interaction I have ever experienced in a store. I don't know how long she's worked in the store..but she not only needs a lesson in customer service but COMMON DECENCY AS WELL! read more

Enter in the store at 8:35pm. Was told immediately that they close by 9pm. I was told about 10 more times by the same employee that they close by 9 while I was trying on hats and jeans. I was even asked if it's for a special event and if not I can always come back tomorrow. Ended up not having my debit card. Wasn't even offered to have them hold it for me till tomorrow. read more

First of all management is horrible! It consist of managers mistreating staff as well as not caring about customers very well. The main thing is the mistreating staff though. They will literally yell at the staff with no respect. Not only will they yell at them they will do it in-front of customers. Very unprofessional. Even customers have confronted them of this problem. Yikes , this location is not the friendliest especially for it being my first time visiting. My husband purchased some boots, and they were the only size left. They had scruffs all over them, and seemed to be tried on a few times. I wasn't up for getting them, but my husband really wanted them. The guy working stated that he was going to wear them anyways so it shouldn't matter. Ummm...actually yes it should especially if I'm dropping money on something that expensive. My husband insisted on getting them, and like the good wife I am, I told him whatever makes him happy. Well I ventured off and found the clearance section. I found two super cute outfits. Well I purchased them, but due to covid I didn't go into the fitting rooms because, well gross. Anyways they didn't work. I brought them back the following week since I live so far away I thought I'd come on the weekend. Well let me tell you if you plan on returning something you might as well bring your birth certificate, because they want your life story. They make you enroll in there customer loyalty program, and then I kid you not she gives you a sheet a of paper to fill out with your first name, last name, email, address, city, state, signature, phone number, zip code, the reason why I'm returning, and I think that's it. Then I had to give her my information again, and then sign another receipt. Then she looked at each outfit as if I was returning an article of clothing from Princess Diana. She inspected every inch, and slowly picked it up. Please, it's not worth all the hassle, and the rudeness of a red neck racist. I'm not just saying that the way she looked at me, and treated me was disgusting. I smiled and tried to be polite as I could. Even told her it looked hideous on me that it wasn't the actual product. Nothing she was just blank. I asked her a question, and she flat out said , " I don't know what you're trying to ask?" Well excuse me I'm sorry you can't follow, but from what I've experienced I'm not surprised. Just not worth it I'll be sure to NEVER purchase at this location again. Horrible return policy. No cash refunds on debit card purchases? Forcing customers into store credit for your over priced cowboy garbage seems like poor business practice. Store policy or not, not everyone that receives a gift from your store actually wants a gift from your store. read more

The staff are very disrespectful to the hearing impaired. They were told multiple times that the customer was deaf and they then turned away from him and ignored him. The manager did the same and when asked for her name she refused. Until threats to call the police. So Deborah Rogers Shaunnessy needs training with ADA requirements as well as training their staff. New store and one of the biggest Boot Barn's I've seen. Friendly staff too.
